    If somebody tell me, that MMO have strong story with powerful ending, i'd never believed. But FFXIV with Endwalker expansion showed to me, that its possible. Also FFXIV has comfy battle system, perfect craft mechanics and gathering activities. Here you can do many non-battle activities and fulfil your enjoy. One of the cool things about this game is old content always stay actual as forIf somebody tell me, that MMO have strong story with powerful ending, i'd never believed.     Pros:
    - Excellent story and characters (tearful, fearsome moments)
    - Ever evolving gameplay
    - On point music
    - Massive content
    - A lot of philosophy to chew on

    Cons:
    - Sometimes the story takes detours that may feel like padding, they aren't but they can be a little tiresome

    The best expansion yet !
    I thought Shadowbringer was the maximum people can make for an mmo. I was wrong, Endwlaker is a masterpiece.

    This is honestly the very best MMO on the market. The story is not just amazing for an MMO... and not just the best story of any Final Fantasy (in my opinion at least).... Not just one of the best stories in all of gaming, no.... of ANY medium!

    Improvement in all aspects over previous expansions who were already amazing on their own.
    Great conclusion to a fantasy epic in an MMORPG genre.

    The only issue is log-in queues, but since i logged in in the mornings with no queue it didn't affect me in the slightest.

    i honestly believe this is a one in a life time experience and i feel honored to have lived when this expansion released.
    now leaving aside my personal love for the game, there have been some launch issues but those are nothing really and are just a testament that this game is too popular since there is    the best video game i ever played and i played a bit of games through the years,

    now leaving aside my personal love for the game, there have been some launch issues but those are nothing really and are just a testament that this game is too popular since there is too many people trying to play it at the same time.
    the story was great, it wrapped up alot of questions and plot threads that have been open since the release of 2.0 and some since 1.0, they also have mastered a new way of telling story through the use of maps and how to revile them to the player with also new work done on the cutscenes side.

    in terms of gameplay i have leveled and played warrior (tank), summoner (dps), Scholar (healer) and tbh the game feels it's best now where in they did alot of QoL additions to all the jobs and reworked some like the summoner and my conclusion to it that gameplay feels quite good even better than shb in some cases and in general removing 90s jobs and unifying all jobs on 60s / 120s rotations have made the game less confusing for some and didn't really effect the skill gap too much.

    the zones were all magnificent, each offering something different and getting it's screen time and everything, while not being too bad in terms of unlocking flying.

    the fights were really awesome be it dungeons, boss fights or solo fights in the msq they all have been great, and not to forgetting to mention the 2 extreme fights on offer at the release they both are really good and continue the same great design that started in shb while not being too difficult for people to kill and farm easily with random groups while people still learning their new versions of their jobs all and all 10/10.

    Lastly the music, it has been exceptional through out the whole expansion using the greatest iconic melodies of the game and older FF games while also creating new tracks to jam to, for anyone that likes video games music this is a masterpiece by all accounts.

    Endwalker is a victory lap for both FFXIV and the FF series in general - a joyous affirmation of everything that has made this series great down through the years, whether it be diverse casts of lovable characters, interesting locales to explore, fun classes to play, or spectacular boss battles to overcome. There aren't enough words to describe how good FF XIV is, and even worse still is how many words you would need to explain why Endwalker is the peak of the genre.

    I have played many MMOs throughout my life. American, European, Japanese, Korean, and none of them ever offered what this game offers: Storytelling that is perhaps one of the best (especially with the budget and engine limitations) if not the best in the past decade, coupled with an array of songs that flesh out what can only be described as a perfect conclusion to a 10 year saga. Add to it the fact that the gameplay, from the dungeons to the trials to the ballads (as of 6.0) were on par with some of the best the game has to offer, and you have a perfect game here. Every fan of Final Fantasy must play this game, every fan of good stories as well, and any fan of videogames must play it too.

    As a sidenote, I started playing halfway through Stormblood, so I am in no way shape or form a fanboy nor a veteran. All I am is someone with very high standards, and after mocking the game for being a cashgrab and an insult to the franchise, I was hooked as soon as I played it, I was mindblown by Shadowbringers and after constantly saying "this will never be topped", I admit that Endwalker did the impossible and made the game peak once again.
    This is a game I will play for many more years, and it deserves my time and effort, because the development team showed time and time again that they truly care for the fanbase and the content is never disappointing.    … Expand

    Overall an excellent climax to a 10 year story. Not as consistent or good as shadowbringers in story, pacing or areas but definitely the second best expansion in 14.

I can not believe but they actually surpassed shadowbringers and made everything you've done on this game over the last 11 years very rewarding and emotional. I can't wait to see what the devs can do now that they are finally free of the hydaelyn-zodiac saga.… Expand

    This expansion manage to surpassed even Shadowbringer in many way. Don't let the launch issue discourage you from trying out this masterpiece

    I still can't believe an MMO is putting all the single player games to shame with it's writing. Bravo square bravo. This is going down as one of my favorite jrpg stories of all time. Shadowbringers has been completely and utterly surpassed

    By far the best expansion which leads ofc to also being the best Final Fantasy experience and consequently the best of the franchise. It already was in ShB but now it solidified its position. Props to the team for making such a fantastic game.

    I have started playing the game at shadowbringers launch, and loved how the story was so emotional, and wouldn't have thought that they would create amazing sequence surpassing it, but now i know what a true adventure means.
    thank you for creating a masterpiece.

    An absolute masterpiece and perfect ending to a long, long story that wraps up so many story beats in a respectful and wonderful way. An 11/10 masterpiece that no MMO will ever be able to beat. Amazing music, heartbreaking, tearjerking story. An unforgettable journey.

    An incredible Expansion. The story is great and a more than worthy successor to Shadowbringers. The new zones and cities look amazing. The music is beautiful. And the two new jobs are very well made. FFXIV has delievered 10/10

    Deeply emotional story.
    Every music track kicks in at the right moment.
    I can only hope that someday the developers will be able to completely untie it from online, so that the game will forever remain in history and everyone can enjoy it.

    It was a bold move for Naoki Yoshida to tackle so many philosophical ideas at once, nationalism, nihilism, and existential crises. I daresay it paid off.

    Final Fantasy XIV holds an incredibly high bar of quality, and Endwalker pushes it a bit higher - for many it will be the highlight of the series.

    With the Endwalker expansion Final Fantasy XIV becomes an even more "Final Fantasy"game with its world building, super writing and great characters. At the same time it expands its foundation as an MMO thus becoming a superb game that probably has no equal at this moment in time.
