    A great reinterpretation of midgar, is not as good as the original game but is a great one, one of the best remakes I have played. I hope that the next two parts will be better and will equal or surpass the original game´s quality. I would have liked to explore more midgar, but I am so happy with the result.

    Amazing game I would give it 10 but…the end is a kinda weird, I liked that in this remake Zack is “alive” I love Zack, but that ending with Aerith and Tifa and Barret is weird, and I didn't like that it was like:
    Cloud: Sephiroth is still alive
    Me: Ok not bad Some seconds later Aerith: We can, we will Me: jejeje ok that was weird especially Aerith's CGI face Me after 5 minutes: Just    Amazing game I would give it 10 but…the end is a kinda weird, I liked that in this remake Zack is “alive” I love Zack, but that ending with Aerith and Tifa and Barret is weird, and I didn't like that it was like:

    You know after playing this game again i have to say that its just really enjoyable and fun. Yeah thats right a video game thats FUN. The interesting characters, stylization/graphics, and the incredible story. And you know what makes this game even better? ITS NEVER CRASHED FOR ME.
    9/10 Totally a must play.

    Admito que eu não esperava pela qualidade. Não sou muito fã da franquia, tanto que é o primeiro jogo da franquia que eu jogo por ter sido disponibilizado na Plus do PS4. Tanto gráficos como mecânicas de luta e personagens foi um grande destaque, mas, ouso falar que a trilha sonora foi a melhor parte. Simplesmente incrível.

    As a third person blend of real-time combat mixed with some menu-based decision making, Final Fantasy VII Remake is a masterclass in gorgeous graphics, excellent characters, memorable and breath-taking music, and a gripping story. Gorgeous Square Enix-esque cutscenes glue together this rather long winded game. When the story here is good, it’s fantastic. Boss fights are well-crafted, and abilities have plenty of weight and impact to make you feel like your attacks are doing serious damage. At the same time, however, there are far too many instances in the game in which these very same cutscenes display very clear signs of game-padding (any of those factory missions in which your traveling between platforms labeled with various letters.) In terms of content, this game’s story is only a fraction of what it’s original version was. However, I never felt it detract from my experience too much.

    Even as a part of such a large franchise, FFVII remake is an excellent standalone title, and I can legitimately recommend it to any and all gamers looking for a thrilling story and gameplay experience.

    9/10 but little worried for future hope they keep to the original storyline the changes are only negative for me, the combat was one of the best systems ever.

    Amazing title. I first was sceptical, since I did not play the original game back then. But with it being in PS Plus, I gave it a chance. And boy it did not disappoint. Really liked the art style and the combat system. Still a bit unfinished for me, but the story was amazing for me as a new player.

    FF7R is a **** great game. But every game has it's fair share of flaws. FF7R biggest flaw for me is that the pacing during some chapters can be a drag.

My first interaction with Final Fantasy was with 4 on the DS and 10 on the PS2, the latter quickly becoming one of my favorite games of all times. The game exceeded my expectations in every way -- a gorgeous story, some of the most well-written characters of the entire FF series, gorgeous graphics and soundtrack, and an engaging and challenging combat system. I can't comment on how this compares to the original entry, but I can promise that any person approaching this game with an open-mind and expectations on what the remake project is trying to achieve, they will thoroughly love the game. My only small bit of criticism is with some unnecessary lulls in the story and action which could have been tightened up in my opinion. Still, only a minor gripe in comparison with the absolutely achievement of a game this is.… Expand

    Final Fantasy VII Remake also features a completely revamped battle system which rates with the best in the franchise. Despite trading in turn-based for real time action, Remake is still as strategic as ever, and offers up a consistent challenge that even the original can't match.

    It's unfortunate then that this only covers a fraction of the original game's story, though the bar has been set high for whatever comes next; and Final Fantasy VII Remake leaves the door open for some truly exciting possibilities for its next installment.    … Expand

    The story is paced in a big open world with marvellous and rich architecture and different locations, adding to the world building. In my opinion it's a truly impeccable game for it's time and even though the targeted audience are teens, the game can be seen from a more mature perspective as well. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and they don't feel one dimensional. One of the many strengths of the game is the music. It was composed by Nobuo Uematsu, and the music is truly touching. The themes match every character perfectly and even adds to their personality even more, you can listen to tifa's theme for example. The boss themes are epic and exiting, listen to one winged angel for example.… Expand

    Fun, challenging combat. Excellent story. Amazing graphics. They took the original story and added to it. This is more like a re-telling. First 4 hours of the original game and they make it into 40 here. Anyone saying Its not the same story must not be paying attention. Worth it if you enjoy fast paced heavily story driven games. Cannot wait for the next release

    This was my first experience with FF7, I haven't played the original or consumed any of the media. But from a game to game standpoint this has the be one of one as far as production value in a JRPG game. It is not only one of the best looking games I've played but its fun as hell to play.     never played the original game, but this one - amazing. story and characters got me. And suprisingly gameplay is interesting and fun, altough this game is not like any other modern huge open world game. Deffinetly i would recommend to play this game at least once.

    A new entry into the FF7 compilation, instead of a remake of the original FF7 instead its a remake of the story one where it tells of a new story of the FF7 cast. The combat is amazing and the story bring in a new set of excitement for me as a fan of FF7 compilation.

    Muy buen remake en general, gráficos impresionantes aunque algunas texturas por ahi no cargaban, el gameplay es brutal me encantó el combate y el menú con el apartado de materias esta muy bien hecho, la música es increíble hay unos temas que tocan un poco y lo hacen bien y hay otros que modernizan que la verdad no fui fan, ahora lo mas importante: la historia, lo que imitan/adaptan mas loMuy buen remake en general, gráficos impresionantes aunque algunas texturas por ahi no cargaban, el gameplay es brutal me encantó el combate y el menú con el apartado de materias esta muy bien hecho, la música es increíble hay unos temas que tocan un poco y lo hacen bien y hay otros que modernizan que la verdad no fui fan, ahora lo mas importante: la historia, lo que imitan/adaptan mas lo nuevo que añaden es brutal pero lo nuevo que crearon no fui muy fan, no me encantó el final pero puede abrir puertas a una segunda parte increíble donde cambien todo para bien o para mal, solo toca esperar.… Expand

    FF7 remake ist ein fantastisches spiel mit tollen grafik tollen Sound, Atmosphäre und eins der besten Bösewichten aller zeiten Namens Sephiroht.Die Story ist sehr gut die kämpfe sind unterhaltsam und die bösse sind meist extrem episch mein einzigste richtige kritik punkt ist das die Verbündeten viel zu wenig helfen und meinst uninteressant sind aber insgesamt ein rundes gesamt Packet

    objectively an 8 or 9, but i enjoyed it like a 10. there's pretty blatant padding to make up for the fact they needed to release 3 parts, and some of tifa's anime posing is truly cringe inducing. it's also falsely advertised as a remake when it's really a reboot/sequel

    Final Fantasy VII Remake is the game we've been waiting for from Square Enix for so long. Atmospheric, interesting and exciting all your attention modern jRPG with an interesting story and spectacular battles. To achieve the ideal, the project only needs more even graphics and all the content from the original release. If you were waiting for a turn-based classic with new graphics you will most likely be disappointed, since the game has changed a lot. Everyone else is happy with the release of the first really powerful single-player release from the internal Square Enix studio for many years. Especially after the failure of Final Fantasy XV.

    What matters is still intact, and that’s the heart and soul of one of the greatest stories in video game history. It’s a return to form that has felt a long time in coming, and what’s even better is that there’s still at least two more games of this quality to come...They can’t mess this up, can they?
