    Trash lol I can't imagine someone actually playing this game as their main and only game everyday.
    I don't care how much you love football but please consider your existence. I can name a million games better than this pile of garbage. It says a lot when the majority of the community thinks the PS5 version is actually worse than the PS4 version which was basically a copy paste.

    the most pay to win game that i have ever seen so far. delay in this game is massive. delay to pass, delay to shot, delay to tackle, delay to move the player. opening packs with your money is the only way that you can have 200k plus player that moves fast, pass the ball not so fast and with the help of AI he'll do the work for you. and thats not enough, you must have much more 200k plusthe most pay to win game that i have ever seen so far. delay in this game is massive. delay to pass, delay to shot, delay to tackle, delay to move the player. opening packs with your money is the only way that you can have 200k plus player that moves fast, pass the ball not so fast and with the help of AI he'll do the work for you. and thats not enough, you must have much more 200k plus players to be able to compete and of course gameplay is garbage as always no matter what team or player you have. at this point it is an insult to our intelligence if we keep buying this crappy game.… Expand

    Okay so this is the first FIFA I have bought in a very long time, over 10 years. Long enough to not be aware of how similar it is to the previous versions therefore that factor will not affect my rating.

    At the time of writing I have played through one full season in career mode, that's the only mode I've played.     Firstly looking past the MANY bugs, this game is fun to play when attacking. It has real moments of creative fluency which can result in a wide variety of goals scored. I enjoy the way it plays in attack. It rewards movement and creativity. That makes for a fun experience. By no means perfect, fun though nonetheless.

    Unfortunately there is a lot more to football than attack. Defending is broken. Off the ball A.I is broken. Player positions in set formations are broken. Glitches and bugs in game, in menus, some of which render the game unplayable.

    Defence is all about holding position and timing the tackle. Unfortunately when defending, you control a single player (or two) and if you so much as make one slight mis-step then the attacker will walk through a seemingly stationary defensive line.
    If you are lucky enough to time the challenge right and win the ball at the edge of your box (and the A.I lets it happen), your midfield are all standing at the halfway line for some reason. Making a pass or clearance near impossible. This occurs without stopping when the A.I presses high, if they need a goal for example. Sometimes I have spent the majority of the game clearing the ball to face a wave of attack time and time again. It is unplayable when it is like that and it is like that in almost every game. Playing out from the back is near impossible.

    Also the game lags for some reason, offline career mode lag. It starts to slow up and judder when two players animations interact. It can do this seemingly whenever and it can last for any amount of time. If this happens you have to switch it off. A blessing in disguise.

    I gave it a fair chance, suffered through a full season. Overall after playing this title I would say my life was better before I played it. I now feel worse about my existence and I think I have developed IBS. Most of the time it feels a lot like the game doesn't want you to play it. All this for only £59.99.

    To finish on a positive, I have uninstalled the game and will never have anything to do with the franchise ever again.

    Given they are charging more than full price for a game they haven't bothered to finish and which is always on the edge of becoming unplayable, you would be silly to buy it. Don't be like me. Spend the money on medical waste, you'll feel better. I feel like people should be protected from experiencing this "game" by law. I feel like a victim of crime. That wasn't what I had in mind when I paid my money.

    It is an unfinished and broken game, a ticking time bomb of unplayability. It's without doubt a 0 rating. A player did chest the ball like a bullet, no trajectory, straight into the crowd though, which almost made me up it to a 1 for comedy value. Why should I though, this disgusting showing of greed and lack of effort deserves nothing in return.

    This might actually be the worst FIFA i've ever played, and that's something - I'm including FIFA 20 in this; I think this game might actually be worse.
    Just today I've had a number of games with Messi (who I was lucky enough to pack in my 3rd pack) being unable to score from point blank against... Kevin Trapp and Emi Martinez? GKs are completely busted, pace is irrelevant, through balls    This might actually be the worst FIFA i've ever played, and that's something - I'm including FIFA 20 in this; I think this game might actually be worse.
    Just today I've had a number of games with Messi (who I was lucky enough to pack in my 3rd pack) being unable to score from point blank against... Kevin Trapp and Emi Martinez? GKs are completely busted, pace is irrelevant, through balls are useless (rendering the entire category of players like Toni Kroos useless), and position switching is abysmal.

    The worst fifa ever, no defence no passing, with no exaggeration this was the worst sports game I ever experienced, I am considering selling the game and downgrading to fifa 21. Do not waste your money as I did!

    My first Fifa since fifa 17. Will be my last fifa for a long time. Online mode unplayable. When I pay 70€ for a PS4 game I expect that It's playable on PS4.

    1) Sometimes the defenders are pretty agile and responsive. They rarely ever feel like this.
    2) More often it feels like they are literally ice skating. Especially when the    I've never played a Fifa game with defending as bad as this. And the defending somehow gets worse when you use a back 5 or two CDMs. There are basically three different ways that the defenders feel in this game:
    1) Sometimes the defenders are pretty agile and responsive. They rarely ever feel like this.
    2) More often it feels like they are literally ice skating. Especially when the attacker does a skill move. No precision in defensive positioning whatsoever.
    3) Most often, they are heavy and trying to make them change direction is like trying to do a 3-point turn with an 18-wheeler full of cargo.

    There's just no consistency in the defensive gameplay at all because manual defending is dead. So often, when i play against someone, they usually just let the AI automatically defend for them. Keeping clean sheets is impossible when defending manually. And instead of actually fixing the defending, EA decided to make the goalkeepers extremely overpowered. The one thing you have no control over is the biggest factor in whether you win a match or not. Ridiculous.

    I've genuinely never played a video game that made me feel less in control of what's happening in the game than this. I didn't think they'd manage it but EA actually made a Fifa game worse than 21.    … Expand

    Disgusting attempt after almost 30 years in the field. They cannot handle the player database. If you buy this now YOU WON'T have fun. The servers are garbage andd the way the input delay works, you will always be at a disadvantage. They don't anything about football and they dare to talk about "Simulation". Stay away.

    Worst football game I ever played. After this one I will never buy another fifa game again. The game is full of errors, winning is a matter of complete luck. If you're a good player of football games don't buy this absolute piece of crap or you will want to smash your remote to pieces

A handicap is always given to the person with the weaker squad, and your players will react accordingly. I am so done with the franchise and I will not be playing ‘22 anymore and nor will I be purchasing ‘23. Fifa has lost a valued player due to its greediness and shoddy gameplay. And yes I have also played on PS5, I found the only difference to be the graphics. It is still the same money grabbing scummy game.… Expand

    This stupid game is the worst fifa I've played ever. I've owned ever fifa since 2015 idk maybe I'm stupid afterall. Season is just dominated by PSG ever single match I've paired against PSG where mbappe is crazy fast and pair him up with Neymar and messi and you get the point. **** u EA

    Laziness and greed for money turned the game into something meaningless, just changing the game's cover with the same poor content in the box.

    I play fut, keepers are superhuman, players like flashback Varane, kimpembe, Kante, Mbappe are just unstoppable. Most tackles go straight back to the opposition depending on how highly rated the player you tackled is. Keepers sometimes come out and completely miss the ball leaving an open goal. Your teams performance depends on whether the game wants you to win the match or not.     Horrible unrealistic game. Passing goes to wrong player or directly to opponent and is just highly skewed in almost every aspect. Most ridiculous things happen in gameplay. Leads to i fluidness and pure anger and rage. Don’t buy this game for your own sanity. It’s nonsense

    FIFA 22 makes the leap to the new generation in a conservative way, with slight changes in its gameplay that lay the foundations of what the saga may become in the future. Lovers of football simulators will enjoy its fast pace and large amount of content.

    After many hours spent on the next-gen version of FIFA 22 (PS5-Xbox Series) and its old-gen bent, the conclusion is there: PC, Xbox One and PS4 players will have a version with the flaws of the new generation, but cut off from its strengths.
