    Worse and worse. Only element worth talking about is Volta but it's clear that it's a side-mode and honestly it got boring after 3 matches. For the rest, 0 evolution. Didn't buy 19, didn't buy 20 and sad to see my friends still are falling in the trap, but at least it allows me to review. Just look at the second hand value of FIFA games to understand how unsustainable it is to release oneWorse and worse. Only element worth talking about is Volta but it's clear that it's a side-mode and honestly it got boring after 3 matches. For the rest, 0 evolution.     I spend most of my time on career mode and nothing has changed. Same interfaces, same weird transfers and the press conferences are devoid of any consequence or realism.     I dabble in FUT and the season objectives make it a little more fun for casuals like myself; but, the sheer ridiculous amount of cards and IFs now available make the game a bit boring online. Average players with outrageous teams can make matches very odd.

    Gameplay wise, it feels very similar, if maybe a little slower. I thought defending had been made more difficult and initially struggled and lost a few games on legendary; but, after learning to just stand there and pressure attackers, you invariably get the ball back within a few moments.

    Whole thing needs a complete overall. As i said, It's meh. The horrible thing is I'll still smash over 100 hours into the damn thing over the next 12 months...    … Expand

    I want to like this game so badly as I am a massive fan of FIFA, but WOW this is the worst iteration in the franchise in years. The gameplay is horrible, slow and clunky passing, awful defending, terrible attacking. I understand that they’re trying to make it more realistic but this game just isn’t fun anymore. Being In division 1 in FIFA 19 to not even being able to hold division 7 inI want to like this game so badly as I am a massive fan of FIFA, but WOW this is the worst iteration in the franchise in years. The gameplay is horrible, slow and clunky passing, awful defending, terrible attacking. I understand that they’re trying to make it more realistic but this game just isn’t fun anymore.     Poop game, why did I buy this? It has no option to kneel before kick off and it doesn't support black lives matter so im gonna give it 0/10. That's the only reason, honest.

    Making gameplay rigged so people would buy more packs is what's wrong in fifa. AI players are fuc*ing stupid. EA is trying to make game more realistic but no real player would play like the AI plays in fifa. Your team plays differently depending of the score... like what the f*ck?! Why? Also so many other things are broken like corners, defending, inceptions and passing just to name a few.Making gameplay rigged so people would buy more packs is what's wrong in fifa.     Estoy cansado de seguir viendo el mismo juego y que te lo cobren a precio de novedad. Ademas de tener que gastar si o si monedas en el ultimate team para poder ser competitivo . y el tema del Handicap ... ya te dan ganas de dejar de jugar . la musica en este nuevo fifa apesta,... y las muchas de las caras sigueen siendo genericas.... parece que ni laburan en EA pero eso si 60 dolares ..deEstoy cansado de seguir viendo el mismo juego y que te lo cobren a precio de novedad.     I cant even watch the gameplays beacause FIFA became an UGLY game to watch, the graphics are bad, the movement of the players are so unreal and pathetic, the finishing are always the same, the goals are always the same, VERY UGLY AND BORING.     First and most important!!! The 0 points reviews are all lies. PES fans! Fifa 20 is much better than most of Fifa s and tons better than actual release of PES. Demo in pes was good. Definetly not perfect but a very good one comparing with 18, 19. Played 40 games so far and i have nothing to complain about yet! Maybe some tweaks in defense as is very difficult to defend( not bad but veryFirst and most important!!! The 0 points reviews are all lies. PES fans!     Same gameplay as Fifa 19. Same scripted **** Not good. Button delay, terrible servers in Europe. Shots not registering. Gameplay for kids and high pace for 90 minutes nonsense.

    Terrible game, matchmaking is awful! I'm playing my 78 rated team, worth 20k. I got the game a few days ago, and endlessly getting matched against teams worth £2-5M easy. I play well I work my ass off having chance after chance, and could easily come away with a result, but Messi shoots from 30 yards and scores. I have no chance.

    Not good enough. I've been a diehard FIFA player for almost two decades and this is the first time I've felt completely let down by a game in the series. The gameplay is a shambles, defending doesn't work properly, goalkeepers rebound the most simplest of balls, players fall over due to completely unnecessary animations allowing strikers easy goals, player lock means you can't chase downNot good enough. I've been a diehard FIFA player for almost two decades and this is the first time I've felt completely let down by a game in the series. The gameplay is a shambles, defending doesn't work properly, goalkeepers rebound the most simplest of balls, players fall over due to completely unnecessary animations allowing strikers easy goals, player lock means you can't chase down loose balls by quickly switching players. These are just the basics I've spotted in 25 matches. I usually love switching between Ultimate Team and Career Mode, but it seems all EA want you to do these days is play UT, since that game mode works fairly solidly and Career Mode is broken beyond belief. New 'improvements' have been badly programmed to break the game, teams still aren't updated to represent the 2019/20 season, managers get sacked for the tiniest of reasons. Immersion in the game is non-existent since most teams field their weakest sides for absolutely no reason, resulting in top clubs facing relegation, all conference and player interactions are riddled with poor typos and grammar. My review doesn't even break the ice of how ridiculous this game is bugged, to think of how big of a fan base this franchise has feels like a complete slap in the face to the people like myself who have bought the game year in, year out. Unless there's signs of significant improvement, I think this will be my last purchase of a FIFA game for a long time to come. I've only played single player so far, since I can imagine playing online to be even more of a rage-inducing affair.… Expand

    Story mode won't work, it is basically broken hell. How did this game pass the QC stage???
    Also what the heck is wrong with strong clubs? For some reason clubs like Barcelona and Bavaria, and most UK FC are one of the worst? Huh?

    I was playing FIFA since 2002 and I was always buying FIFA each year but this year... The worst FIFA ever! What’s going on with the defense!? I will never buy again FIFA at the release, what a waste of money!

    Another year, nothing changes. Career mode is so boring. Ultimate Team not interesting to me. And I just don't want to play it. Pes 2020 is better

    I always play career mode but this year I decided to play the other modes FUT and the seasons but these are terrible as well. the gameplay is terrible and full of glitches and in every mode the gameplay is different. They always downgrading some features and next They say we fixed it. Last year headers are good but this year they go very high in weird way

    This review will be based on my time with Fifa 20 ultimate team. Every issue from last years iteration persist and new are added. Weird issues with stamina, offensive players standing at their own backline at kickoff, keepers and referees behaving worse than ever.     Fifa 19 was also riddled with issues and EAs plan seemed to be releasing enough content to keep players off the pitch and the horrible gameplay - and spend their time playing the menus for cards and in-game currency.

    This year EA are providing almost no content and the extra time spent on the pitch has made the myriad of technical and gameplay issues even more apparent than last years iteration.

    Last years promo content had me firing up the game now and again for the whole gamecycle. This year I put the game back in the box less than 3 weeks in - and I doubt its getting back out.

    If you consider getting out after last years buggy mess - this is the year to save your money.    … Expand

    It was a disappointment.. Every year, the FIFA series sinks to the bottom. Played enough time and FIFA 20 and PES 2020.. So here is PES on head higher! I have always been a supporter of FIFA, but my patience has run out (

    FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.

    The new Volta mode is loads of fun, especially with some mates. But the overall FIFA experience is starting to creak, despite an impressive array of bells and whistles.
