    I loved FIFA 14, but this version is just horrible. Not because they didn't improve anything, but because the so-called improvements are causing gameplay issues. For example, the opponent keep scoring with ricochet balls, which is very unrealistic and annoying. Also, the game borders are cut-off because of a bug in the game.

    Sadly, this year's FIFA is horrible and I regret buying it.    I loved FIFA 14, but this version is just horrible. Not because they didn't improve anything, but because the so-called improvements are causing gameplay issues. For example, the opponent keep scoring with ricochet balls, which is very unrealistic and annoying. Also, the game borders are cut-off because of a bug in the game.

    Sadly, this year's FIFA is horrible and I regret buying it. I'll wait for the PES 2015 reviews and maybe after >10 years of devotion I'll make the switch.    … Expand

    The problem with Fifa every year is that it wants to cater for the people who believe football is all about skill moves, high speed arcadey play and stupid coloured accessories. Pro clubs is especially rife with the 'win at all costs' mobs who seek to use exploits, speed passing and cheap gameplay tricks to win instead of working to a game plan.

    Unfortunately Pro Evolution Soccer, which has historically been the football game for the genuine football fan is still lagging behind. Hopefully one day it'll catch up, but for now we can just wish for the day when beauty will return to the beautiful game.    … Expand

    New improvements, but really, its the same. The best you'll find is a decent soundtrack, and yet, this game duly delivers. Its potential is ruined, single-player is a bit tedious and FUT is as usual. Bland, boring and requires money to cash in on good players. It's a meh, not anything special?

    Sorry the 10 of 10 Reviews a not real. I played fifa since 4-5 Years, and as bad as fifa14 was, this is worse...i sold fifa14 3 weeks after release, i will sell fifa15 after 3 Days.     and origin servers are rubbish even when the opposition dont use d/c bug you can still end up being kick off, it apparently doesnt like upnp.

    the only problem is pro evo isnt any good, that will be the only thing that will force them to make a better game than they have been

Even in career mode there is nothing but scripting and handicapping, forcing draws and losses. I love football, and i've always loved FIFA,. It feels like you're actually not playing the game at all, you win when EA decides you should, you lose when EA decides you have to. Every single match has goals in the 45 and 90 minute. Most of the matches have goals in the first minute of play, regardless who is playing. Messi is GOD,This game is absolutely unplayable in multiplayer.     NEGATIVES. If you want an arcade style game of football and don't care about realism get this. For everybody else that wants as close to the real game as possible it's a big letdown. A key area of plenty of concern is defending, as in they are stupidly unresponsive and dumb. Sometimes this all happens on purpose because of the scripting, ( where the computer basically cheats to either help create you a goal or cause one against you) Even Manchester United are defending better than this. As for the attacking play, where do i start, virtually every player in the game has been blessed with super speed, there doesn't really need to be a pass button. i played online (same offline) and i basically just took the piss out of my opponent by running right through the whole team. I had Darren Fletcher on the ball, i just started running, WITH DARREN FLETCHER!, Offline its the same, yes you do have sliders to adjust speed offline but i turned it right down to zero and it is still the same. Even turning the game to SLOW does nothing to change it. Playing against the CPU is where it becomes the most shocking, PES this year has pissed all over fifa in this aspect. In PES the CPU will try to pass the ball, and players have realistic speed. You know like real football. Fifa bypasses it totally this year, it just runs, strikers run into nowhere then suddenly turn and blast into such speed there is no point in defending. Defenders cant turn, and wont have a chance of catching ANYBODY. Doesn't matter who it is, if they are quick players or not. A patch could sort out so much, but don't hold your breath with EA.

    POSITIVES. Presentation this year has taken a step up, pitches look almost as good as the real thing. Still no realtime day into night transition but lighting has been altered at least. ALL 20 premier league stadium's are present and (largely) correct. Along with official premier league in game branding for team sheets, referees,and so on. If you are a fan of other leagues you will hope for this treatment in future version. Over 200 new player likenesses, however some don't look as good as they could be. And the promise of promoted teams faces added has yet to happen. SOME modes that were removed last year have returned, custom tournaments, tournaments for single player. Team tactics have an interesting difference this year, again how much of an impact it actually makes is the problem. Options such as the striker to drift out wide, play as a target man, the winger to cut inside, come short for the ball, or just stay up the pitch are welcome, defensively setting the full backs to always overlap, central midfielder to cut passing lanes and stay back or go forward. Hints of the kind of game that could be if everything was knitted together. But again this year it's backwards, and more than just a step.There is the basis of a great game there, but strange development decisions are undermining it.    … Expand

    Graphics are unbelievably realistic. Every motion, emotion, cheer and move is beautifully crafted and engineered in the correctly modified premier league stadium. Every face; recognisable. Every team; hugely accurate. Every celebration; magnificently different. The lovely little additions that EA Sports have entertained with, enable the realistic flow of the game, even further. The ballGraphics are unbelievably realistic. Every motion, emotion, cheer and move is beautifully crafted and engineered in the correctly modified premier league stadium. Every face; recognisable. Every team; hugely accurate. Every celebration; magnificently different. The lovely little additions that EA Sports have entertained with, enable the realistic flow of the game, even further. The ball boys, the bench view, the flag celebration, the chants, the cheers, the new camera angles, the ability for players to last longer than game in regards to their stamina, all phenomenal additions.

    There is a problem, however. Gamers buy games to (predominantly) play and then enjoy the graphics. The primary reason we enjoy a game is the gameplay. The reason I enjoy The Last of Us so much, is because the gameplay is superb, the graphics is the extra part that adds to the game. Fifa 15 lacks greatly in gameplay. It is flawed. When attacking, the opposition destroys your players and there is no offence committed. When the shoe is on the other foot, and you are defending the players run through you like you aren't even there. When contact is made with the player a penalty is given. It destroys the game, that whenever you try and play, you automatically lose.

    You either lose because you can't tackle, and the players run straight through, or you tackle the player and a penalty is given.

    If you're thinking of buying the game, then don't. It's a waste of time and money. Please fifa, sort this rubbish excuse of a legendary game out.    … Expand

    Look, I've played a lot of Fifa since I was a little kid, from the Gameboy Advanced to PC to PlayStation, you name it. The one thing that shocked me the most was the increasing displeasure I got from every new Fifa game. I decided to give it a 4/10 for the few games that actually takeLook, I've played a lot of Fifa since I was a little kid, from the Gameboy Advanced to PC to PlayStation, you name it. The one thing that shocked me the most was the increasing displeasure I got from every new Fifa game. If in Fifa 2013, the game annoyed me a little, Fifa 14 became worse and now we have the amazing Fifa 15. I decided to give it a 4/10 for the few games that actually take place properly, hence the 4 points. But for the rest of the game, I won't hesitate to say that it's basically **** EA's Fifa franchise is in a spiraling downfall that will end with it losing it's first spot as the best and our favorite "realistic" football simulator. I'll give one simple example out of many. Obviously this took place on ultimate team, where losing seems to depend more on how much the game likes you rather than your skill level. In one of the brilliantly well put together online cups, I had played three times the same cup. The first two cup runs I lost after conceding 3 to 4 goals in the last 20 game minutes in the semi-finals (well made scripting) and in the third run, my game crashed after i had won and simply got a DNF. As I said, this game is poor on way to many aspects to be able to call itself good anymore. i do not advise anyone who wants to try this game to actually waste their money, as I have, on this game.… Expand

    Es una adaptacion muy mediocre, a pesar de saber el contenido de este titulo y la repetiva entrega en los ultimos años, me decidi a comprarlo por $30 digital, le inverti mas de 150 horas de juego, al modo carrera de DT, on line, y torneos locales con un colega, resultado=Decepcionante.    Soy un apasionado al futbol, me gusta muchisimo, sigo a muchos clubs por que me gusta el buen futbol.

    For all the casual gamers, this game is absolute nice. But on the other hand as a hardcore fifa fan for decades i'm truly disappointed. Pace abuse continues and the worst part your strategies and gameplay never effects to match results. Hope they'll respect to loyal fans and patch it's bugs.

    Hate this game so much. FUT is simply the most frustrating online mode in this game. Everybody just cross the ball over the defence like idiot and I can't forget about ridiculously stupid goalkeepers and referees. EA simply doesnt care about these problems and just counting money. This **** was my last FIFA. I will not buy FIFA again.

    Decided to give this game the time to properly review it. Ultimate teams is very addictive again and the game feels improved from Fifa 14 with the graphics a highlight but on most of the points that count it is a failure. I purchase Fifa mainly to play online and at first I got smashed by more experienced players which is understandable as I learnt the game mechanics. Once I began to get a feel for the game and got a few wins under my belt. As I got to playing against more skilled players I started to notice the flaws in the game as those games are generally tight.

    The major downsides of the game are:

    AI seems to have gone further backwards, a loose ball around the opposition box will be ignored by your players who in addition never make intelligent runs. Defenders will not attack loose balls either when the opponent is counter attacking, this usually results in a easy run in for opposition attackers as your defense decides to watch the game rather than be involved.

    The gameplay is extremely slow with players looking very labored at times, the physics are shocking at time's with balls bouncing off players and some players just seem unable to control the ball without taking 4 touches.

    The goalkeepers have been improved but at time's will make amazing saves and at other time's let in ridiculous near post shots that would be saved 99% of the time in real life soccer.

    The Ref's have gone backwards as well, I have seen players be completely taken out with no foul, red cards being handed out for tackles around the box for no obvious reason and general fouls having very little consistency.

    Overall I am very disappointed with the game and will be looking at PES 2015, if it has improved gameplay then I will be switching brands and trading Fifa unless a very expansive patch is released very soon. Fifa has not done enough in terms of fixing the simple mechanics of the game to make it enjoyable. As someone who is happy to buy a new soccer game every year mostly for the online play, it has become extremely frustrating and no longer enjoyable.

    If I was rating this as a newly developed game rather than something that has been built upon for a few years now then I'd probably give it a 6 but as the game has gone backwards in every way that really counts I have decided on a 3 rating.    … Expand

    To be honest, the demo worked nicely and playing the AI felt like a bit of an upgrade.

    Now I bought the damn thing and played 2 vs 2 on PS4 and nothing works. Stats are **** up, the keepers are more stupid than ever, the AI seems more random than ever and even with all the small improvements - this is the year PES will get another shot at it.

    It seems EA is trying to piss off its customers

    Fifa use to be a great simulation game since 08 and now that's a big arcade game, even PES 2 was more realist. Even if the offline part was really good as usually, the online is a real disaster. Games look like everything except football. What a shame. But people who doesn't like football may enjoy this game.

Most of the time the player behaviors are not relative to reality and good players become horrible in game and slow bad players become dominant and fast. Some players can run right over others and take the ball without hitting any buttons and others stop dead in their tracks when switching players or when being challenged.     They have turned fifa into a money machine.

    Basically, for the Ultimate Team mode, the point is to buy cards to get better players, but the more your players are good, the more handicap you get, and it gets more and more difficult to win. You will never be able to win 5 games in a row, unless you're a total prick or spend your whole life on it. The last game you need to win to be promoted will always be rigged. It's another Candy Crush-like system where you need to pay real money to advance quicker, and this needs to stop

    In Career mode, it's the case since fifa 2001, the weakest team in the league will always be the hardest to beat. Yes you have Messi but that Elche defender is just better, quicker and he can score from anywhere.

    EA continues to insult the players, and the fifa community is one of the worst you can find. There absolutely no pleasure to play this game, you just have to cross your fingers and hope that the script is in your favour, that's all. You'd better just play dice and see if you roll a 6, same fun.

The transfer market in Ultimate Team is broken, the AI is bad, the UI is a mess, the "game" crashes all the time, the referee is horrible, the goalkeepers are useless, the servers are horrendous, I would rather play a Philips CDi than play this garbage.

    First of all the good......animations, graphics, game play, when they are all working together correctly Fifa 15 is a good game. visually the game is great and the audio is spot on.

    The bad.......it does seem like Fifa is designed for people who don't actually know how to play football, many games you will be dominating an opponent playing fantastic football coming so close to scoring only for the other team to try a through ball from the half way line that finds an attacker standing there on his own in yards of space.

    Pace is insainly overpowered so be prepared have some trouble stopping any attacker who just sprints at you with 83+ pace. On the other side you will find that your oppositions defenders will get an injection of pace on times as you can watch the oppositions 65 pace defenders catch up with hazard/robben/reus with ease.

    Everyone likes to moan about loosing in Fifa and say its 'scripted', personally i don't think its true but its hard to argue when you win division 1 with only 1 draw and 1 loss then get beat 4/5 games in a row next season by conceding goals in unavoidable ways, lucky rebounding/gk not moving/loosing 50/50 balls every time/ through balls from the half way line, basically the computer gifting your opponent goals.

    Oh and the defensive ai is a load of crap so get used to trying to position every defender continuously every time you have to defend other wise they will just stand and watch as attackers run past them.

    When its an even game win or loose Fifa can be awesome its a shame it hardly ever happens    … Expand

    It's frankly laughable that they said they have "revolutionised" goalkeepers, some of the strange decisions and mistakes that "world class" keepers have made have blown my mind. The defenders in general are a joke, they stand around watching 94 pace players waltz through, they get shrugged off the ball by basically anybody who isnt 5 ft 1' and isn't made of paper.

    They watch balls through the air fly through from goalkeepers hands, generally pace and decision making of the defenders seems really strange and inconsistent, frankly FULL of RNG and bugs.

    Dribbling and so called "sweaty play" is totally overpowered and unrealistic, take any players with a bit of pace and dribbling and you can go pace 8 players from left back and smash it in top corner.

    "KSI" goals still work along with a new, even more horrifying, "zig zag" technique from the kick-off where a pacey player runs through all the defenders who are on their mobile phones or waving at fans or somthing, who knows? They literally (other than the one you are controlling) stand still and watch the player run through in the first seconds of the kick off and score a goal.

    Bugs and RNG in general play are really, really frequent. Players "floating" through balls, being ranomdly shoved off by suposedly thin air. Emotional intelligence literally seems to be nothing other than RNG / useless eye candy which decides to punish / reward you for some innane random tackle or decision.

    The referee's and also the foul decision system is without a doubt (played since FIFA 10) the most ridiuclous inconsistent and buggy pile of steaming, you know what, that I have ever seen. Pretty much every 10 seconds you are fowled and the referee doesn't even bat an eyelid. I have had no less than three players sent off in around 50 games for world class tackles, awarded straight reds for doing literally nothing wrong. On the flip side, you'll frequently find yourself in the box about to shoot, only to get fowled and to have the game laugh at your penalty cries.

    Really don't go buy this game, it's hugely dissapointing, unrewarding and frustrating to play and rammed full of bugs and inconsistent development.

    P.S: Another really horrible part to the game is the total Americanisation of everything. The typical "pin up players" behave like super heroes and have "really rad skill moves", they can just spam skill moves and seem to float through anybody ( you can just picture an american who knows largely nothing about 'soccer' going "awwww dude did you see that step over?!!!?!?!!?" ). There is unnessercary, and to be honest ghastly, music everywhere such as on the loading screen and at half time, this along with the score board and the scrolling team members at the bottom makes it feel like a baseball game, it's really uncomfortable to be greeted with. But hey, considering EA CANADA developed this disgrace to the FIFA series, there's not too many surprises there.

Career mode is complete garbage too, everything below world-class difficulty is too easy and when it's on world-class, you watch the opposing team, no matter who it is, pass it around like FC Barcelona.

    The only positive about the game is the presentation on career mode, the BPL aesthetics are outstanding, the only reason this piece of sh*t game isn't getting a 0.

    To summarise, the game is completely awful and it decides when you'll win or lose. It will most likely be a horrific experience. Save yourself some cash and don't buy this disgusting mockery of a game.    … Expand

If you lose 5 or more games in a row the game will boost your squad to ensure that you win the next game. All of this is done in order to keep the people playing. The demoralized players morale will be boosted because they won a victory they shouldn't have won.

    Oh yeah one more thing, whoever made this game has no clue about soccer and shouldn't be let anywhere near it. The legendary players such as Ronaldo Luis Nazario or Roberto Carlos have awful statistics and capabilities in comparison to current players. Match lobbies and unranked/non-season matches remain non-existent, and they even pulled the 11 v 11 practice arena for PS4/XBO.

    Biggest problems are scripting, handicap and momentum. EA deny these exist, but they do. When the game decides you are to be penalised your players magically start moving in a sluggish manner, their reaction time gets much worse, they cannot control the ball anymore, they move slower and in the wrong directions lacking any precision. Basically this totally ruins the game as you don't win just by using your skill but it's a random process. Until EA fix this I will constantly rate this game as a 0 because it's just like cheating and I cannot understand why EA do it.

    Apart from that some of the ratings for players on Ultimate Team are just ridiculous and show how little the creators know about football. The web app is even more bugged and slow than last year. Some of the items you redeem from the EA catalogue never materialise or are broken and EA never fix this either (still waiting to get the extra trading slots I redeemed on day 1 for example).

    People will buy this game because apart from PES there is no real competition in this segment and because they love football, but year after year it's always a big let down as EA never address the main issue of the game showing they couldn't care less about their customers. No wonder they get voted year after year as the worst company when it comes to customer care.    … Expand

The scripts determine who is going to win, which is basically the underdog, so expect to whip Barcelona 3-0 every frigging time but struggle against Yeovil town because in EAs infinite wisdom, it's good to manufacture a challenge by boosting poor teams stats while dumbing down your teams AI, so you can't defend. Defending is awful anyway, there's just no way to overcome the AIs psychic or zero reflex time ability to turn on a dime and dribble past you. I've tried contain, high pressure and second player contain but it counts for naught because the controls stop responding to your input when the scripting kicks in (ie when the algorithms want the CPU to score). And I really mean stop responding, not just delayed. Corners conceded around the 45 or 90 minute mark, well, don't expect your 7 foot power heading CB to do anything except move out of the way to allow the 5 foot striker to head into the corner. And the goalies? My goodness, they range from being superhuman to assisting bystanders, actually moving out of the way of the ball if the AI wants a goal!

    In short this game is a mess, lots of mini scripts within a 90 minute game leave you either feeling robbed or the game gave it to you. No point building up an 80+ rated team in career mode because stats are irrelevant thanks to all the scripting going on. There's also no need for a midfield as the most effective way to score sadly is the hoof to a fast player method. So pack your defence with 6 players and buy 4 fast strikers, and as for the keeper, well it don't matter. Regardless of who you buy, there's no discernible difference in ability between a 50 rated melon and a 85 rated super star. The same types of shots will be goals or not irrespective of Keeper ability.    … Expand

    This is not a good game. I have played 102 seasons in the co-op season in FIFA 14 and this game has many flaws. The game has poor AI, it drags, it's full of bugs and it is almost unplayable online.
    Goalkeepers act like retards.

    A tip for EA is to start to focus on gameplay and stop focusing on the details.

If you are winning by, let's say, 3-1 in 90th minute, be prepared to concede 2 goals because the match will always get 5 minutes extra time and because the player you have simply dominated whole match suddenly turnes into a god and scores a couple of goals one after another.

    Another stupid thing about this game is the kick-off goal. Players online are now just running straight from kick-off, zig-zag through your defense and you can hardly defend. I have scored and conceded a lot of goals like this. Whoever implemented this into the game clearly has no idea about football, and is probably living in Canada watching hockey or rugby or some stupid sport but clearly not football.
    You can never do this in real life, totally unrealistic.

    I would like to add that the game feels too fast, passing are travelling at light speed, sometimes you can barely see where the ball is. This clearly shows how arcady this game has become, you are basically playing call of duty now.

    In conclusion, I would not recommend this game to anyone, unless you love getting angry and you are a masochist. For me it landed straight in the thrash bin. Oh, and don't even think about PES 2015, tried it and it is just as crappy as FIFA.    … Expand

I thinkThis fifa is the worst I ever played, I am not talking to the graphics but with the gameplay which has been the issue of many of us. 1st of all, now it is very hard to control a ball without hitting to buttons at a time.. if you run quickly with the ball you will certainly lose it because a player like cristiano Ronaldo for ex. doesn't know how to control and ho to run with a ball. I think its an innovation to give the player the feeling to totally control one player, but its freaking hard to control 11 player..so i think they should have think about it. 2nd one is to change from Legacy defending to Tactical defending which is the newest way to defend.'' legacy defending is the way you always defend in a fifa in past till to fifa 12. The Tactical defening system his the most useless thing they had introduce in the game, because it is very very hard to defend properly, remember its very hard to control the ball now think you have to control all your defenders at a time. So I really think they had just go a way too far for me, I saw on a forum that many users has already gone to return the game because they are not able to use legacy defending online, which make the game very very hard even for someone it is good at it. So don;t lose your time to play a game which look more like a mission game than a sport game. better go on PES its a way better trust me… Expand

    Certainly the worst Fifa to date! 5 minutes into playing the game you might say to yourself hmm this looks great. Unfortunately unlike many good games fifa 15 gets worse the more you play it. Lets start with the never ending glitches on online play, scoreboard always glitched 2/3 times you start a match your opponent is marked as the same team as yourself, Nat type glitch, not sure if youCertainly the worst Fifa to date! 5 minutes into playing the game you might say to yourself hmm this looks great. Lets start with the never ending glitches on online play, scoreboard always glitched 2/3 times you start a match your opponent is marked as the same team as yourself, Nat type glitch, not sure if you noticed but if you are eve rejected play due to nat type make sure you go right back to the main menu before joining a new game. iIf you dont player updates wont get placed into the next game, substitute glitches, the sub info in game gets stuck and stays there until the next sub, so if you dont sub for 100 games there it will stay, ive have a bayern sub info board stuck for 5 games, very annoying, then there are the endless in play gltiches from players colliding, giving away penalties and completely veering off in the wrong direction. Apart from the above the game also feels massively bias, il tell you from now if you don't play with Barca of RM you likely wont enjoy the game, from unrealistic stats to what appears to be bias referring. Not sure what EA was trying to do here but i haven't seen average customers review above 6, its clear this game was a major flop. Unfortunately due to EA contract on FIFA they will continue to produce such abominations! guess its time to move to PES!… Expand

    This game is so poorly and lazily made that it makes me angry. There is no possible excuse to sell this game for full price every year when this game is so buggy and broken. Do not buy this game under any circumstances you're just encouraging them to make more.

    ¿realmente este juego es un simulador?.......arcade chapucero, lleno de bugs, servidores que se caen, latencia insoportable....mas o menos los mismo de los ultimos 5 años pero con colores mas bonitos.Basura a precio de oro.Y no pongo mas cosas porque no vale la pena perder el tiempo....y el dinero con este......juego.

    Solo apto para fanboys.

    I could not shake the feeling that gameplay changes were introduced only to justify publishing a new FIFA. I launched brilliant FIFA 14 for comparison and could not believe how much the designers lost their way. Why try too hard to reinvent something almost perfect instead of just polishing it?
