    Enjoyable and fun, nothing more, nothing less. I like the atmosphere and overall fight and stealth mechanics. Story is meh and quests can get repetitive.

    ALERT, DO NOT BUY ON PS5! Far Cry Primal freezes frequently, forcing you to restart from previous checkpoint or autosave. Materials gathered and animals skinned do not trigger autosave, so you have to collect all over again. Multi-stage bossfights with a lot going can also cause the game to freeze, so you'll be forced to do the fight from the first stage once more. Reinstalling the gameALERT, DO NOT BUY ON PS5! Far Cry Primal freezes frequently, forcing you to restart from previous checkpoint or autosave. Materials gathered and animals skinned do not trigger autosave, so you have to collect all over again.     Play as a violent caveman who can tame beasts and ride them. Bit on the short side but still pretty good.

    This far cry release is the best or close second for me the graphics are so good and almost all animals are tamable, and this game encourages you to decide different ways to solve problems you could use stealth, no stealth, wooly mammoths and way more ways to solve problems. This is why I think this game is very good.

    A far cry game with a twist. The setting alone is enough to help this game stand apart from the rest of the series. Although the gameplay might not have the depth available as the other offerings the world and the atmosphere help to give this a level of charm which carries through the whole game. Theres nothing else really out there that lets you live out a cave man fantasy like this.

    Initially, I was kind of blown away by this game.

    It wears off quickly. It's a typical, paint-by-numbers Far Cry game but with less effort put into it because the game's time period and setting can be used as an excuse to defend the overall lack of effort and ingenuity.

    Como primer juego que tuve para PS4, lo disfruté al máximo. De lejos el Far Cry que más me ha entretenido junto al 3 y claro, que fuera el que me hizo estrenar la consola suma en la ilusión que le metí.

    Ubisoft is back at it once again with a Far Cry game however this time around they have used a setting that is not at all reminiscent to their past iterations.

    You now take on the role of Takkar set in 10,000BC where you will be tasked with protecting your village against neighbouring tribes. The story is there, albeit quite forgettable. Gameplay consists of gathering, various open    Ubisoft is back at it once again with a Far Cry game however this time around they have used a setting that is not at all reminiscent to their past iterations.

    You now take on the role of Takkar set in 10,000BC where you will be tasked with protecting your village against neighbouring tribes. The story is there, albeit quite forgettable.

    Gameplay consists of gathering, various open world tasks, hunting and exploring. The loop gets repetitive however Ubisoft has always allowed the player to tackle most objectives however the player sees fit depending on their playstyle which is enough to always keep the gameplay different.

    You get access to many weapons and accessories in your arsenal but the main weapons will consist of a bow and closed ranged combo with a club or spear. Combat itself was quite fun and addicting.

    Overall this was a solid play and completionists will find that they would be able to finish off everything is about 30 hours.    … Expand

    TAME AND RIDE A SABERTOOTH! HUNT THE MAMMOTHS! Hear a science backed reconstruction of proto-indoeuropean language! Tame a wild variety of animals! I mean the experience of hunting together with a cave lion?! It's **** mind-blowing! It's everything I ever wanted from a game AND MORE. I just completely and absolutely love it.

    Brutal Stone Age survival action that is a lot of fun to play, but it's hard to believe how familiar the Far Cry formula feels even in a setting as different as this.

    O game é bom, porém a Ubisoft continua cometendo o mesmo erro de sempre, ela lota de atividades repetidas no mapa, se fizesse pouca vezes até que ficaria legal, porém devido a alta repetitividade vai ficando maçante durante a gameplay, o sistema de melhorias dos equipamentos, a coruja e as feras domadas são muito legais, a granada de abelhas foi muito criativo, as batalhas com os boss sãoO game é bom, porém a Ubisoft continua cometendo o mesmo erro de sempre, ela lota de atividades repetidas no mapa, se fizesse pouca vezes até que ficaria legal, porém devido a alta repetitividade vai ficando maçante durante a gameplay, o sistema de melhorias dos equipamentos, a coruja e as feras domadas são muito legais, a granada de abelhas foi muito criativo, as batalhas com os boss são bem desafiadoras o ambiente é imersivo, principalmente a noite, um bom jogo, de negativo o fato de muitas missões repetidas e no PS5 o game do nada trava, tendo que ser reiniciado, ocorreu isso comigo seis vezes durante a jogatina… Expand

    Lowest difficulty settings, putting my SPEAR in the f'in HEAD of a WOLF TEN TIMES and IT kills me. Yes, I like casual gameplay, but even if it would be the hardest setting it would be unacceptable that a ANYTING living could take TEN STABS TO THE HEAD without dying.

    I kept changing opinion of this game as i played through it...great at first, then sick of the typical annoying over-aggressive wildlife attacks, then thought it was good again with weapons upgraded, didn't as much    Using bows and spears etc was a welcome change over other similar games with an arsenal of weaponry, characters speak in tribal language like old fashioned cavemen movies.

    Is a very good game is even my first far cry game i ever played and i liked it, i like how the stort goes, the weapons, the everthing played it 2 times and i dont regret

    A game that I think got more hate than it deserved. Yes, it's not classic Far Cry, but respect to the developers for trying something new. The story is not interesting by any means, it could have been done a lot better.

    However, the characters are written interestingly and capture this "unga-bunga" age of humanity perfectly.     The gameplay is average, the combat system, especially the archery, is a classic and nothing could go wrong. The melee combat, on the other hand, is often funny in how bad it actually is. At least it makes you laugh.

    I appreciate the village upgrade system. However, for those brave enough to complete this game for the "platinum trophy" I recommend arming yourself with patience while unlocking all the abilities in the ability tree. You will have to do almost all the side quests in the game to achieve this.

    In conclusion, I rate the game with a number that is just below the green line, 7/10.    … Expand

    Really cool game, and follows the Far Cry-concept and easily worth 7 or even low 8/10, if it weren't for the game kept crashing, still 6 years after release, now on PS5.
    Played it for 10 hours, has crashed 3 times already, leaving me to re-play up to 20 minutes each time. Lousy.

    Setting and gameplay is totally okay and had the vision, but it wasn't hit that big as it could. The missions weren't varied too much.

    The game did not age well. I played it 6 years after release and it looks much older. Gameplay-wise it follows the Ubisoft formula, which is getting a bit old now, too. The game crashes every day at least one time. That is not acceptable.

    Вполне хорошая игра, не напряжная. Правда сюжет из-за своего сеттинга очень банален, но это из-за сеттинга. Персонажи разговаривают на выдуманном языке, который подходит по сеттингу, и это атмосферно

    Grapple hook chain doesn't work in some areas. Like on the mountain northeast of the village. There is also an issue where the character won't grab ledges with vines after repeated attempts. This is only in certain areas like at the daysha hand ledge near Pardaku Lookout.    I played this on the PS5 so that could be why it froze 11 times during my playthrough (Mostly when using a waypoint).

    Sometimes R2 doesn't make the character draw back on his bow (This was a constant issue for me and my girlfriend in this game and I'm glad to see this was fixed in the subsequent games).
    It also kept constantly changing from the club to the two-handed club without my permission. This was extremely annoying.

    Aside from those issues, I had a ton of fun playing this game. It's probably my favorite installment (I platinumed 3, 4, 5, and New Dawn). The passion they put into this game - as well as the lack of microtransactions and ads like the new games have - was wildly appreciated and made the experience that much better. While I wish the language was in english since I hate subtitles, I do respect they went out of their way to make a language for the game. The characters were all very interesting and unique. The environment and mechanics for the time it was released are fantastic.
    If this had at least co-op to enjoy the story with someone else it would have been even better.    … Expand

    Really fun game that is easy to sink many hours into. So many different things to do around the map that the main story isnt the only thing to this game.

    Honestly, i experience nothing playing this game. Far cry 4 and 3 is better. Not much you can do in far cry primal

    The setting used to disguise the Far Cry we’ve already seen is fresh and wonderful, it’s easy to sink into this wild, beautiful, majestic world. Primal was put together skillfully, it’s not an outstanding game, but it’s so enjoyable that I devoured it hour after hour with an appetite of a cave bear. [04/2016, p.28]
