    Fall Guys is a fun game when it works, but there are too many bugs and connection issues for it to truly live up to its potential.

    The positives: 1. The game is legitimately fun and, if you don't smile while playing this with your friends, you're probably dead inside. There's tons of charm to this game and it's a genuinely great joy to play, owing to some hilarious player interactions    Fall Guys is a fun game when it works, but there are too many bugs and connection issues for it to truly live up to its potential.

    The positives:
    1. The game is legitimately fun and, if you don't smile while playing this with your friends, you're probably dead inside. There's tons of charm to this game and it's a genuinely great joy to play, owing to some hilarious player interactions and watching as jelly beans haplessly careen into the abyss.

    2. The challenging platforming rounds are exceptionally designed, with Slime Climb being the pinnacle of Fall Guys level design.

    The okays:
    1. The music is infectious but quickly fades into the background. It's good but nothing breathtaking, a solid soundtrack lost in the chaos of the gameplay.

    2. The progression system is rewarding but becomes tedious over time. Kudos, the currency you earn by qualifying through rounds, add up quickly. Experience for the battle pass, however, is a slow grind that is only slightly influenced by your performance; when you're working towards the next stage in the pass, which is 2000 experience away, the small bonuses from finishing first or in the top 20% or 50% don't add up as quickly as you would expect for placing well.

    The negatives:
    1. This game is plagued with connection issues. Looking past the terrible opening weekend where games could barely connect and players would disconnect in the middle of matches because the company "didn't expect so many people" to play a battle royale released for free on Playstation Plus, there are constant hiccups and latency issues. For instance, during a team game called Hoopsie-Daisy, you might jump through a hoop just before a member of the other team but they'll be rewarded a point instead of you. The worst offenders of this latency issue are games revolving around tails, where a player needs to grab a tail from another player. If you grab the player with the tail and hold onto them, even being dragged along with them as they try to flee from your grasping hands, there are times where you won't be able to steal the tail. The developers have said "ouch, that's not the experience we're going for" when asked about it and are working on a fix, but so many matches have been swung by this broken mechanic. It's frustrating and not fun, which is terribly disappointing given how frequently tail games show up in the game rotation.

    2. Matchmaking is a genuine nightmare, spawning uneven teams against impossible odds. If you go into a round with 19 or some other prime number of people remaining, there is an exceptionally high chance that a team game will be next in the queue. One team will be up a player and have that advantage, while the other team just wasn't lucky enough to get that extra help. This happens constantly and sucks away a lot of the fun, since the game simply doesn't want you to win that round. It's possible to win, of course, but it's a lot harder than it needs to be; this is doubly true when the alternative to another team game would be another free-for-all where you might not end up with a prime number of players remaining.

    3. The controls are inherently frustrating by design; it makes sense that bipedal jelly beans could struggle to land on their feet after any sort of jump, so it makes sense that they fall over ever little speed bump. It's still super frustrating and, what makes it worse, it's incredibly inconsistent. When you fall over after walking down from a small ledge or being tapped ever so slightly by another player, it doesn't make any sense for the player right behind you to stick the landing when falling from a greater height. The amount of times I have just blankly stared at the television and said "what" after seeing the exact scenario is incredibly high.

    4. The vast majority of maps are boring and don't offer a high level of challenge. Yes, this is a game that anyone can pick up and play; I understand that. However, many of the maps are mind-numbingly simple. Roll-Out is a prime example: You can not lose on that stage unless another player sabotages you or you are trying something risky for the sake of combating staleness.

    5. This game is hellish to play by yourself. Without the buffer of a friend to play with, you are stuck playing a game with bad controls, bad netcode, and boring maps. Helping a friend qualify or laughing about a failure is amazing, but this game is cold and boring without someone else in your party.

    Final Verdict: Fall Guys is an accessible and enjoyable battle royale, a welcome breath of fresh air in a quickly bloating genre. It's fun and colorful and easy to pick up, perfect for party nights or playing with friends. However, the game is riddled with inconsistent connections, non-functioning controls, and a boring map rotation that has very few exciting choices. Pick it up if you can party up; if not, consider getting a group together before investing any substantial time into this game.    … Expand

    -cuando tratas de agarrar la corona en monte majareta pero el personaje se sube encima y no cuenta que la agarraste.
    -cuando caes de muchas plataformas y atraviesas en la plataforma que caiste en hexagonía.

    Fun and also simple battle royale that ive been enjoying everyday, its fun for people of all ages! I don't enjoy the team games while playing solo, and they could include more updates to split up solo players and teams.

    The game is pure FUN, more funny if you play it with your friends, it's not like the others Battle Royale, it's like a Takeshi's Caste's Game.

    This game is a good idea but badly executed. It is a game with a lot of potential but that until the moment leaves something to be desired.
    The problens starts with the servers issues. You will experience a lot of times the servers going do down, and you losing all the progress that you made in that match.     Another problem is the lack of maps n the game. You are going to play the same maps a ton of times until you get bored and move to another game. Dude, look at the graphics of this game and how simple the maps are. What is the difficulty to make more maps? A game like this needs at least 50 maps to play. And why in the hell they dont make a way to the community create maps?

    60 start only 1 can be have the crown. Addicting and Fun....MXC meets Bright Jellybeans. Five fast pace rounds, where if you get eliminated (which most of the time you will!) You can just jump into the next show. You can play with friends (up to 3 others) and see who can outlast!

    Good bit of fun, and surprisingly addictive.

    However, it feels like this game was made in about 2 weeks. At this point I've had 10+ game-breaking instances, where it becomes unresponsive (usually in the menus) and the game needs to be re-launched.

    Fall Guys has great potential, but if it doesn't fix the core problems, I can see people dropping off quickly.

    good game overall but something that you should add and will (probably) be really good is the fact you could change the buttons so (for example) for ps4 you could make dive right stick or left on the d-pad etc and same with all the controls i think that would be a good feature and i would certainly like it

This is an amazing new take on a battle royale and is clearly becoming a hit with the players as for PS Plus members, like myself, it comes free but on steam reportedly over 2 million players have bought the game.

    The game is designed for short quick and delightful, with a wide variety of mini games ranging in skill level and annoy-ability. The most annoying game are by far the team games. It is clear why they have integrated them, to stop people being able to win all the time, but it is severely frustrating when you are trying your best and still get eliminated because the rest of your team are really bad. However the rest of the mini games are fast and furious and highly entertaining, a lot require luck more then any skill which makes replaying it a lot easier as you never really find fault it what you’ve done it is just so chaotic that it happened.

    The Fall Guys themselves are one of the cutest inventions in video games they, make some of the weirdest noises when you start playing the game but the more and more you play the more they grow on you, the ease with which you level up is also a good incentive to keep playing. Even though I did feel at some stages some of the cosmetics were so hard to get enough money for in the time-frame they were in the store. I felt as if they could potentially scale either the price of the costumes or the amount of money you are given each game.

    This next point as also only an issue for me only the few days after it launched on Playstation and appears to have been sorted now, however many times when I would go very far into the show usually to the crown I would be told my ‘reward’s could not be found’ and then rebooted to the title age again, however this server issue appears to have been fixed recent so it should no longer be an issue.

    Also I want to highlight the music in this game, it is incredible it is one of those soundtracks to a game where you are always excited to here it again. Especially the menu music before you go into a game, it’s a little bit sad that that song isn’t in the actual levels of the game but the songs that are there are still extremely good.

    Overall this game, is incredibly fun endlessly enjoyable and even though the levels may get repetitive and boring at some point, I know I’m going to be putting in a lot of hours before that thought enters my head.

    My biggest suggestion would be to fix the round distribution so it's more balanced.

    As long as it's free on PS Plus, give it a try it's good for 3-4 hours of fun before the negatives really kick in.

    I really can't play more than 15 minutes on this game. It's ok if you play a couple of matches with your friends, but more than that I can't comprehend.
    The controls are irresponsive, the graphics are non existing, the levels are repetitive and it really gives the feeling of a mobile free to play game ported to console

    This is a definite no right now, with 54 hours played, I have 15 crowns (wins) and I'm level 40. The cheating has to stop. If you buy this game you will play against cheaters that can fly, run at 300% your speed, and never fall over. The Devs do not care. They only care about protecting their image of this game.

    This game is literally disgusting. I played lots of matches on stream today and there were lots of cheaters in every game, rocking their 10 win skins. I have an idea for in game report system.

    At least they should grab players' Steam ID's or whatever they have depending on the platform (NOT the usernames.) and use it to make a report system that we can use while still in-game.     I really don't believe that their anti-cheat system is working well. I will be refunding my game since I really don't think they are doing any good by just thinking about how to solve this problem.     It’s a fun party game to play with your friends online. Only reason I gave it a 7 is because of connectivity issues. Seems to me there is a problem with getting disconnected, and it’s not just me.

    The game is fun with friends and has a lot of potential. Unfortunately it gets ruined by cheaters and incompetent devs. They have no idea how to handle the hacker situation. To make things worse they are shadowbanning legit players and don't give you a chance to appeal the ban.

    This game is just simply fun. It's a game where you can shut off your brain, relax and still have it be competitive. It's easy to to learn, but difficult to master. It's a perfect game for a child and just as fun even if you're an adult. During these trying times, I don't think there could of been a more perfect gem in the mix.

    Personally for me, games based heavily upon luck and internet connection quality are usually all the same....boring.

    Fun for a few weeks and whilst your winning but annoying when you lose, fall guys got me more stressed than dark souls.

    Fall guys is a very fun and addictive game that’s well worth it’s price. The rounds are quick and fundamentally easy to tackle so it never truly feels like your failing just because of your skill. And even if you do, the levels feel easy to learn and with the amount of people in the map at the same time you can often pick up things from other players.

    This game is very fun, it is characterized by being different from the other battle royale and I adore it, the experience playing it is very competitive and exciting, the updates only bring pure joys and beauties, the only problem I see is that if your PC is of low resources you will not be able to leave properly but that already everyone knows...

    I wish i could give fall guys a 10/10 but i just cant. after about 3 games it gets really repetitive i would say out of the 24 mini games i really only enjoyed 9 and if i have to say hexa-gone is the most unique and by far the best. but what really brings this game down is the team mini-games. i dont even know why there called team mini games because almost nobody works together in any ofI wish i could give fall guys a 10/10 but i just cant. after about 3 games it gets really repetitive i would say out of the 24 mini games i really only enjoyed 9 and if i have to say hexa-gone is the most unique and by far the best. but what really brings this game down is the team mini-games. i dont even know why there called team mini games because almost nobody works together in any of them. some of the worst team mini games include: Hoarders, egg scramble, fall ball, and team tail tag. in hoarders the intended purpose was to work together with your team to keep the most balls in your goal, sounds pretty fun right? well what really happens is two teams work together to keep balls out of one teams goal and if you happen to be on that targeted team, oh well! theres nothing you can do about it. what about egg scramble? in this mini game you and your team need to work together to keep the most eggs in your goal. so your probably guessing whats wrong with this one? well like hoarders because theres 3 teams... 2 team up on one this mini game would have been way better if it were more complex and if it only had two teams. fall ball isnt the same case as the last two because it has two teams now! but there a-lot of problems 1. most of the times fall guys makes the team numbers unequal so you could be 3 against 5! 2. if you just stand in the middle you can bounce the ball into the other teams goal instantly. 3. there is no variation whatsoever so its gonna be the same experience every single time. and team tail tag is just awful 1. it lasts FAR to long 2. you can just stand still the entire game 3. the hit detection is just a dumpster fire. but where ever there is bad there is some good. i like the designs of this game its very bright and vibrant! i also like some of the single player mini games (most of them are good) and the controls are very tight! but one thing that i hate the most occurs at the end level. imagine this: your excited its down to the last round, you have worked hard to get here and your not gonna loose now! the stage begins and you immediately go, but you notice something strange... that guy is faster than the rest of us? your confused but as you make your way to the top you notice he is already at the top and your soul is broken. cheaters are another big issue with this game they never fixed it. so what are my final thoughts? if you want a fun party game play mario party. fall guys gets boring very quickly and your not gonna get much out of this game. but hopefully they can pull back someday. my final score is a 4/10… Expand

If the servers were fixed and had more levels (not the same repetitive levels) this game could easily match mariokart etc for playability and popularity. But it’s obviously been made on the cheap whichThis would be my favourite ps4 game (and I gave all the top games) but the servers are so bad it is pretty much unplayable.     Really fun for the first couple of days, gets old fast, i do not recommend spending 20 dollars on this game. I regret buying this game, even playing with my friends did not make it more enjoyable. Cheaters is another hugely frustrating matter.     This game is so funny and cool to play with your family and friends. It's appropriate for all ages and I'm sure all of them will like to play it. I pass hours and hours playing. It's a perfect option if you live alone or can't go to somenones house, because you can play online with people of all around the world and invite your friends.

    O jogo é ótimo e divertido porém acho que deveria melhorar em alguns aspectos. Deveríamos ter mais possibilidade de escolha com relação aos níveis que queremos jogar e poderia ter mais variedade de modos de jogo. Mesmo assim o jogo é muito bom.

    Fun at first, gets boring over time.. by the time you are reading this it is a dead game, or maybe the hype is restored and streamers are once again back at it. You get addicted to it at first playing ten hours a day and you will just lose interest over time as it is just really repetitive.

    The most enjoyable, manic and yet somehow calming game I’ve played in a while. The wins are thrilling but the losses tend not to induce rage. Would 100% recommend anyone picking this up as it’s super fun, especially with friends

    Sometimes it is too rng when it comes to team based games but overall really fresh idea of battle royale. If you want a really mice stuff to wear you have to be sweating and winning games but when you learn some tricks and get practice it makes game smooth and nice to play.

There are some issues which do get up your nose, like team games and trolling etc but there is fun to be had. I think it's great for kids especially.     This is one of cute and great multiplayer games I've played and I really like it. In the game, I get to compete with other players in a series of shows. Some people like me find it quite tricky to make it to the top in some shows, but other than that, it's the kind of game that I enjoy a lot for a fun experience. I recommend this to other people who like multiplayer games.

    Like a call of duty game, with each new update or additional content it's full of bugs and borderline unplayable. Can find yourself glitching and being stuck inside walls unable to move. Can even go as far as grabbing a crown in the final before another player only to somehow be hit with a loss.

    Qualifying for the next round is addictive and exciting. Getting in first in a round is thrilling. This game is a great pick up and play for any amount of time. Finish early and watch your opponents fail is so funny.

It’s not a game that you can sit and play for hours on end, but you can pick it up for a few rounds and then walk away until you get the itch next time.     Es un juego muy bueno, super divertido y más si lo juegas con amigos, las skins son geniales, y lo bueno es que varias cosas las puedes conseguir jugando. Tuve problemas con los servidores al principio, pero hoy en día ya no. Quisiera que en futuras actualizaciones saquen mas cosas como nuevos juegos para que ganes, ya que actualmente solo hay 3 :/, y nuevos mapas.

    I remember checking seeing this game marketed for PS and seeing so many fun gameplay trailers for it but I could never cough up the money for the game or for PS PLUS at the time, so I ended up forgetting about it until the game announced it was going free-to-play last summer and I couldn't be more grateful for that. After 180 hours of getting the platinum, I can definitely say this gameI remember checking seeing this game marketed for PS and seeing so many fun gameplay trailers for it but I could never cough up the money for the game or for PS PLUS at the time, so I ended up forgetting about it until the game announced it was going free-to-play last summer and I couldn't be more grateful for that. After 180 hours of getting the platinum, I can definitely say this game benefitted from the free-to-play model and the LOADS of extra content it got afterwards because without either of those, this game's lifespan probably wouldn't have lasted this long. The first thing I'll say is that the art style, graphics, soundtrack, and overall tone are enough to make it feel like a game meant for kids and its overall pleasing and fun to look at its kid-friendly aesthetic. The cosmetics are all so cute that and the customization is top notch allowing you to create your own avatar. The gameplay is pretty basic as a whole with how you can only run and jump, grab others to hold them back, grab onto ledges to pull yourself up; and that's the entire gameplay loop, but the reason this isn't a problem is with how the level design was created entirely around this gameplay loop so at least the game isn't unfair (for the most part) with everyone pretty much suffers under these same conditions. The obstacles put in your way will without a doubt make you rage a LOT with how you just want to get to the finish line but with enough dedication and studying the levels, you'll pretty much conquer the levels in no time and it's always satisfying when you do. The amount of content the game has received over the past few months has without a doubt helped this game strive on for WAY longer than a lot of other free to play games and dare I say surpass Among Us with the amount of content and the quality of that content being so high to ensure you'll keep playing for a while. Overall, Fall Guys is ALMOST a masterpiece in my eyes but a few significant flaws I have with this game prevent me from saying it is: there's this one trophy called "Show Off" that was the hardest trophy to get "Yes, harder than even Infallible" that requires you to either wait for a specific day for a Pose to go on sale for the game's currency or make you pay real money to buy one yourself and that added an additional 20-30 hours towards the platinum, it's a GLITCHFEST causing the game to freak out and potentially ruin you run, frame-rate problems even on my PS4 Pro causing me to get motion sick, but without a doubt the worst part of this game is how it doesn't let you make new friends after a match preventing you from playing with them again unless you search them manually in the search box wasting your time and something other free to play games already perfected. Now even despite these problems, I still had a blast with Fall Guys and I strongly recommend this game to anyone who needs a break from Fortnite (which now that I think about it, is probably the reason they bought this game in the first place).… Expand

    The game itself is fun, but it's beyond repetitive with very little improvements over time. The lack of consistent new maps doesn't help this matter.

    None the less this is a great party game to play with friends online. Would recommend it's lack of voice chat/text chat and game play as a good starter game for kids.

    Mi considero un giocatore accanito di questo videogioco e mi piace abbastanza, è ottimo per passare il tempo e le musiche ti rimangono in testa ma passando ai difetti posso dire che sono presenti dei bug la maggior parte delle volte invalidanti e a volte ci sono dei cali di frame che rovinano un po' l'esperienza.

    This game is really beautiful. I play most single-player, story-driven games, and I'm not very interested in multiplayer games and Battle Royale, but this title is really beautiful, fun, and enjoyable, and for the first time, it made me enjoy a multiplayer title.

    But overall, in my opinion, this game was not up to the level of green points, and that's why I give it a yellow score.

    Fall Guys is really fun, but it gets really repetitive after playing for a while. I enjoy a lot of competitive and challenging games, but whatever reason I'm always the saltiest when playing this seemingly simple kids game.

    I have enjoyed Fall Guys since it was first released on PSN and Steam. I've played quite a bit of it from time to time, season by season, and they've come a long way since day 1. However, it does have plenty of faults too.     It's colorful, bright, and fun. There's a very friendly and playful atmosphere. You take game shows like Wipeout and make it a battle royale full of bumbling beans, and you're sure to have a great laugh! There's plenty of variety, with over 60 different rounds today, and dozens different layouts for each round!

    The biggest flaw is the team behind the game. I don't know which branch is behind the lack of customer support, the excess amount of bugs, and the plethora of online issues. All of that turns the beautiful and fun game into a frustrating experience.

    In the end, despite the negatives, it's still one of the most fun games I've ever played and it's one I can always go back to and enjoy with my friends!    … Expand
