As with previous games in the series however you’re till left with little incentive to continue playing after a season or two. The story mode (Braking Point) could have helped solve this problem, but it’s all two scripted to make for a particularly interesting diversion, whilst playing online relies on finding a regular group of racers of a similar skill level.

I bought it because it will probably the last good one we get before EA makes us pay to unlock our own car ,overall it's not bad so far .Breaking Point has nice little story ,could be a bit shorter and let you make your own choices but still not bad ,graphics is alright all though in some instances for example when they show your team at the wall graphics resembles the one from 2002 withI bought it because it will probably the last good one we get before EA makes us pay to unlock our own car ,overall it's not bad so far .Breaking Point has nice little story ,could be a bit shorter and let you make your own choices but still not bad ,graphics is alright all though in some instances for example when they show your team at the wall graphics resembles the one from 2002 with blurry monitors.
As usual if you want the updated F2 you have to wait about half a year ,also it doesn't seam like they updated teams and driver stats yet to reflect the real life situation so Mercs are still super dominant and you might see HAAS ahead of somebody.
My team is pretty much the same not as much innovation there as we expected really.
They added some classic drivers (paid content ) but they got ride of the classic cars which kind of sucks.
Overall if you care that much about updated livery and driver roster you can buy it now but probably best option to wait mid year on some sort of a SPECIAL deal when they actually update game proper.

Hm i love the Series but the multiplayer is kind of dead after a few weeks. It’s unplayable no full lobby’s not worth 80€

I appreciate F1 2021 for its experimentation with new modes and options, proving that this franchise is much more than the average annual drivers’ update. Not only does driving feel more realistic than ever, 2021’s story mode is a pleasant surprise that I hope attracts further development for the series’ next iteration. For now, though, it remains a great F1 simulator that will generate the same excitement happening in the real world’s F1 competition right now.

The Breaking Point narrative mode allows the player to join races while feeling like they’re the lead in a Hollywood movie. That being said, the mode’s story is linear and your racing efforts don’t necessarily have an effect on its scenario. While the career mode is as well made as always, if you’ve played the series before, there’s just not enough to make the experience feel fresh again.

F1 2021 impresses. Whether you're an avid competitor or want to pursue a storytelling career on your own, you'll be given countless opportunities to customize the game. That makes F1 2021 a versatile title. Once on the track, it is still a very solid racing game, suitable for both controllers and (semi) professional racing wheels.
