A clever, ghost-busting title that’s even better with friends.

Extreme Exorcism is a pleasant surprise and a very welcome addition to the local multiplayer revival.

Extreme Exorcism invigorates the arena battler with its brilliant ghost mimicking mechanics, proving to be a highly entertaining proposition for either a group of friends or the lone player to stuck into.

If you’re in need of a wicked spiritual expulsion, consider opting for an Extreme Exorcism. Just make sure you bring the blue hair dye.

It seems like Ripstone could've done more with Extreme Exorcism's gameplay, as it seems kind of one-note, in spite of the "ghosts doing what you do" idea. Regardless, it's definitely fun at times, and makes for a good multiplayer romp, provided you have players that have no trouble concentrating.

Extreme Exorcism isn’t a bad game, but its core hook fails to captivate players from the get go.

Was also drinking a lot which might influence my rating. It's a fun little shooter where the game basically mimics what you previously did. It becomes fun later on when you try and remember your past steps in order to know where your enemies will be. Full Review »

Using a plethora of weaponsExtreme Exorcism is a 2d action platformer where the action on each level all takes place on a single screen. Using a plethora of weapons players must clear the screen of enemies in order to proceed.

This games only real innovative idea is the fact that the ghosts spawning on each level will mimick the players moves from the previous round, and this does in fairness make you think more carefully about the way you move around and attack. Unfortunately this is not enough to save the game from quickly starting to feel very repetitive and even after just twenty minutes I didn’t really feel any compulsion to continue playing.

Extreme Exorcism is another addition to the long list of competent, but instantly forgettable, PS+ indie titles.
