    Updated Rating: I started with a 7 but have to go lower because of just how unplayable this game is. I quit through sheer frustration after having to restart a few times because of the game losing calibration. I couldn’t bring myself to finish even the second mission. I know this is to prevent motion sickness but I’d appreciate a setting to be able to turn it off. Also I wasnt able to use one of the early mechanics in the game. “Espire vision” You hold your hand to your head and pull the trigger to activate but I couldnt get it to work no matter how many times i restarted the game or calibrated. Also the game doesn’t give you the option to calibrate which I think is needed. I’m gonna leave this review here until they update it.… Expand

    This game has a great idea but the execution wasn't that great, maybe it's just a PlayStation 4 VR but other games have the same set up but they control a lot better than this game which is its downfall I just wish this game controls were better because if it did this game would be one of the best VR games out there but it's not. That's why I gave this game 3 out of 10

    Several weeks after release (and several patches deep) Espire 1: VR Operative is ultimately an unfinished game. I have no problem with Early Access titles on PC, but by the time a game hits the PlayStation Store, my expectations are that it is in a playable state. After two patches, Espire 1: VR Operative still feels largely unpolished (and at times, actively broken). Proceed with caution.
