    Let's be honest, this is not the best indie game of the year but it is still worth playing. The game is all about showing a story instead of telling it.

    Many ideas are "hidden" behind the events of the game such as the human's cruelty, pollution, decay of our societies and such. Gameplay wise, it is good enough to take you through the full adventure. Easy for adult players, easy    Let's be honest, this is not the best indie game of the year but it is still worth playing. The game is all about showing a story instead of telling it.

    Gameplay wise, it is good enough to take you through the full adventure. Easy for adult players, easy enough for children.

    Many cute moments and a well written ending.

    This is very beautiful, emotional and touching game. Nice graphics, music and surprisingly good surround 5.1 sounds. The story of a surviving fox with cubs into the wilds and lost city. You will hunt, search new trails, even meet friends and try to stay alive. Wish it was bigger, longer, more complex and had another ending.     Endling was so good I made a Metacritic account just to sing its praises!

    Endling - Extinction is Forever is a perfect example of blending a meaningful message with charming and measured game play. The tale is that of a mother fox and her cubs and their journey through the polluted wasteland humanity has left in it's wake. An emotional heavyweight that poignantly tells their story but    Endling was so good I made a Metacritic account just to sing its praises!

    Endling - Extinction is Forever is a perfect example of blending a meaningful message with charming and measured game play. The tale is that of a mother fox and her cubs and their journey through the polluted wasteland humanity has left in it's wake. An emotional heavyweight that poignantly tells their story but also that of the wider ecosystem who you encounter along the way. While the narrative is brutal and unforgiving it is wonderfully contrasted by a measured game play that adds tension and levity in equal measure showing the power and beauty of small moments even in a dark world. It was well worth the time I spent with it and it will have a lasting impact for many years. Wholeheartedly recommend.    … Expand

    This was art. This is by far the first game to ever make me feel the need to take action to advocate for the environment. This game will make you feel things, some good and some bad, but it is definitely worth the experience. Going into this game, I had no idea what to expect, and what I got was more than I could ever have anticipated. I would recommend this to anyone to play just once. IThis was art. I understand the message the developers are going for, and how they portrayed this message in a side-scroller game is astounding. The simplicity of this game is beautiful; not a single word is spoken, but the visuals tell you a beautiful story. They not only express the impact of our misuse of nature on our wildlife, like the fox in the game, but they also show the impact on humanity. They humanize the main bad guy so you understand why he is doing what he is doing. By far one of the most impactful games, I have played.… Expand

    It just exceeded my expectations. , I wasn't expecting such a good game, so beautiful, with songs that make you have an incredible experience, my rating is: I loved it

    Endling - Extinction is Forever is a warning signal about humans that should pay more attention to their environment and avoid it being ruined by the pollution born out of greed. At the same time it is also a truly engaging and immersive game with well thought out mechanics. It manages to combine the social message with a fun experience. It is the perfect example of games that challenge your intellect while leaving a lasting impression due to the emotional load they carry. It has both heartwarming and extremely sad moments, the atmosphere of the game accompanying you for some time after you have seen the end credits.
