    If you’re looking for a space flight simulator that is an update of the original Elite, then this is perfect. If you’re looking for a well-written interactive story about saving humanity, look somewhere else.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Luv the space sim aspect of the game but you get thrown in it with no idea of what to do. I have spent many a hour on YouTube and in game grinding to get one of the bigger ships and need to spend many more to get the ultimate fit out along with a few other ships I want and here is the but From what I can see there is no campaign and nothing set to do, yes there Is combat, pirating, trading etc but it’s a do what ever you like and make make your own fun kind of game. I’ve spent hours on it because I like the flight and combat side of it and it’s been my desire to get the big 3 ships that keeps me returning. Value for money yes I’ve spent well over 200hrs in game, you get side tracked. I found exploring extremely boring and some long range missions exactly the same.....boring. There’s a whole universe out there -in game- I’ve seen hardly any of it but planets start to look the same. If you like space sims this is for you, make sure you get the expansion so you can land on planets, you you want your hand held and be given a set path of what to do this might not be for you.… Expand
