    Earth Atlantis is a solidly built 2D shooter with a refined visual style and a relatively friendly learning curve, but a lack of colour and variety hold it back from being truly memorable.

    Although the art direction of Earth Atlantis is unique and quite beautiful and the shooting is enjoyable, the game itself is pretty basic, repetitive and with little to no replayability.

    Earth Atlantis is a different kind of shoot 'em up that may well win fans with its excellent art style but will no doubt lose plenty due to the repetitive nature of the gameplay. It is a solidly put together game but one that is a few design choices away from being one we can truly recommend.

    Earth Atlantis doesn’t so much sink in the depths of the ocean as much as it drowns in the boring and tedious repetition it’s so engulfed in.

    Earth Atlantis is very different for typical space shooter games. It's definitely not a perfect but it's fun and interesting. I really love "metroidvania" map and "boss fight" concept (dark soul or monster hunter). I quite understand the hate from some "Game Critics", though. If they expect a genre game, they will probably hate the game because it's different. The graphic style is fantastic but some times very difficult to see monsters on cave's wall and floor.… Full Review »

    For those who like old-school STG, they will surely Enjoy Earth Atlantis I played it on Nintendo Switch before. PS4 version is a bit betterFor those who like old-school STG, they will surely Enjoy Earth Atlantis I played it on Nintendo Switch before. PS4 version is a bit better and well tuned. The game feels easier and more forgiving. (More item drops and easier bosses) Only issue I found is a weird horizontal screen-tearing in some occations.
    - Beautiful graphic
    - Great control
    - Top-notch boss fights
