    No gameface !?!
Just like EA has done with fifa years ago...
major dissapppointment, it takes the heart out of career mode. Not interested in tiger and clown masks , but a realistic career mode with the possibility to scan your face or upload your gameface. Without it it feels empty. I dont understand why EA always have to remove something crucial what makes the game full garbage. This

This game is a update, minor changes so small you won't even notice , the only thing that stands out is the things they remove or change in a bad way.

A fun game with some great fighters, it's still a flip of a coin on which I prefer, 3 or 4 but I did have a great time playing this

Same Game as UFC 3 in my opinion. No real change in anything, this game won’t last long at all

Having played the first 3 ufc games from EA sports i wanted this game to work i wanted this game to surpass my expectations, but its just an average fighting game. Sure there are added modes and more customizable options, but they should have focused more on the impacts of the gamplay mechanics. Unrelastic clinch and ground game. The punches and kicks have no little impact. The punches and kicks have no little impact. The stanima system is a joke. Dont even get me started on the submission system. They should have taken another year for this game. Im glad people are finally taking a stand against the lootbox system in gaming. Ea gets a point for that at least. Its sad now days that they have to patch games post release as i as i am not a fan of this tactic by gaming standards. Especially unfinished fighting games. They should have reworked the gound and clinch system exactly like THQ undisputed 3 from 2012. The striking has little vairety for my tastes and The AI clinch spams. I could go on and on, but id save your money and wait for a sale people. P.s. THQ Nordic should buy the rights back and make ufc how it should have been all along. Expand

I haven’t been able to play online due to the ‘purple screen of death’. This is a major glitch affecting majority of players in Oceania region. Game is riddled with bugs. In my opinion UFC 3 is light years a head of this game and UFC 3 is considered a bare bones game. At least in UFC 3 the online worked and you could choose the weight class. This is why EA has bad reputation. They rush games and they don’t care cause the gamers are loyal to the licensed franchise. EA add this to your failed list. Anthem, Battlefront 1 and 2, Battlefield V, Mass effect andromeda. Hopefully this game will be half decent in few months after some serious patching and updates cause now it’s not worth 1 dollar. How do EA constantly get away with releasing rushed, unfinished games? I haven’t been able to play a single ranked match yet due to screen glitches. Zero passion and effort have also went in to the offline modes. Career mode is basically the same as UFC 3 except they added more menus and sparring.

Kick in the head nine times, nothing happens, got taken down, stay there for the rest of the round. this game is just plain absurd.
i´ve played hundreds of hours in ufc 2 and 3 but with this one i had by far the worst and most boring experience. EA should go back to Fight Night and forget about UFC honestly

Same game as UFC 3 with updated roster and grades. And they added some story for career mode.

Apart from laggy menu and modest graphics, UFC 4 is a good finale to the series’ run on current generation of consoles. [Issue#248, p.48]

In spite of sporadic issues with the controls and the monetization model, UFC 4 is a great fighter, even if one bases it solely on the expansive career mode. As I currently celebrate my first championship title and defending it, I wholeheartedly recommend this one, not only to fans of the sport, but to anyone looking for their next fighting game fix.

Long-time players will be disappointed at Joe Rogan’s absence from the commentary booth this time around, even if Daniel Cormier and John Anik’s excitable tones are perfectly serviceable. And that’s a phrase which perfectly sums up UFC 4 in general. It won’t surprise MMA fans, but it should delight. [Issue#180, p.72]
