Aug 21, 2020There is no point in stamina in this game. When you play you can just continuously throw jabs and crosses throughout the whole game and not lose a single bit of stamina. Majority of the time you lose will be to a player who spams the same buttons.

Aug 24, 2020it is alright like playing against friend that about it same as ufc 3 for pretty much everything else

Aug 23, 2020Clinch and takedowns are great addidtions but that's only it. Ground mechanics untouched with terrible and unresponding new ground and pound mechanic. Also, there is too many things cut out from previous instalments.
Very unpolished product. I have expected much more after 2.5 yesr development time -

Sep 26, 2021As someone who knows little to nothing about UFC, this game seems like a carbon copy of the previous entry. It's just as empty as every other EA game and while the visuals and fighting do feel quite nice, the game modes are far too bare bones and there is very little to actually do.

May 23, 2021Average really , paying for cosmetics and roster update (still incomplete ) .

Feb 12, 2022It's basically UFC 3 but somehow even lazier. Combat is still good. Everything else is disappointing . They did the bare minimum with the career mode. The story is barely there . Half baked rival mechanics. Slower more grindy progression. The character customization is still so boring and restrictive. Just all around a pointless entry in the series.

Jun 23, 2023This game was a huge let down compared to UFC 3. This game is decent at best. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this. This should have came out with half it's price tag. It looks amazing, gameplay is decent but it lacks content, and just felt rushed. It's good enough to grab at a huge discount which by now you can get often.

Sep 17, 2020I think this game is good.If you play thru the career mode you can unlock all of the locked characters.I also like how you have more control over the training.I’m not saying the game is perfect but its not as bad as people say . Sure the animations are bad . The knockout look fake ,but its still a fun game.

Jul 2, 2023Not a bad fighting game. It's slightly different from I'm use to. The characters balance could be better as well.

Game World Navigator MagazineOct 21, 2020Apart from laggy menu and modest graphics, UFC 4 is a good finale to the series’ run on current generation of consoles. [Issue#248, p.48]

Sep 30, 2020In spite of sporadic issues with the controls and the monetization model, UFC 4 is a great fighter, even if one bases it solely on the expansive career mode. As I currently celebrate my first championship title and defending it, I wholeheartedly recommend this one, not only to fans of the sport, but to anyone looking for their next fighting game fix.

Playstation Official Magazine UKSep 18, 2020Long-time players will be disappointed at Joe Rogan’s absence from the commentary booth this time around, even if Daniel Cormier and John Anik’s excitable tones are perfectly serviceable. And that’s a phrase which perfectly sums up UFC 4 in general. It won’t surprise MMA fans, but it should delight. [Issue#180, p.72]
