    This game looks pretty damn nice. The combat is decent and the parkour is great. The story isn't the greatest but it gets the job done. The progression system is nice and the upgrades you can get are great. It took me about 11 hours to beat the main campaign which is pretty good. I played a bit of this game with my buddy and we had loads of fun. My favorite thing to do is to drop kickThis game looks pretty damn nice. The combat is decent and the parkour is great.     Parkour is excellent, Gameplay is extremely fun. beautiful open world. Great Graphics. The combat is awesome. Story is pretty good. Overall great game to anyone looking to buy it.

    A truly fun well made zombie game. Gameplay is very responsive and rewarding especially when you're fully upgraded. Co-Op is implemented seamlessly and the more in your game the more fun it is. I've played this game to it's completion twice and every part of it never failed to entertain me. DLC is also a hoot too.

    Dying light has unique world, specially parkour and open world zombie, sounds great. I played this game at ps4, and game optimaztion is really bad, sometimes you cant get even 20fps. I'm sure it is better at PC, but since game realeased with full priced, i have full rights to say, this game, need tons of work

I played 53% story line and couldnt play more. Easy mission , i have to take object and leave place, but zombies keep attacking you, it doesnt have an end. It feels endless. They really need to work on this. I hope new dying light wont repeat same mistake as the 1st game.
    I'd love to finish the game, but already deleted, and will never come back, no matter, how much effort you put, you dont feel like, you are developing.This game d oesnt deserve full price    … Expand

    This game is just amazing. I played this on co-op mode with a friend of mine and after finishing the DLC and the main story we looked for games similar to this but couldn't find any. There is nothing that can compete with Dying Light. This game just feels great and has such a unique feel to it.

    Pros and Cons: Pros: - Feels good, the controls are pretty good. Move around, look around    This game is just amazing.     Pros and Cons:

    Pros:
    - Feels good, the controls are pretty good. Move around, look around and parkour, slash arms off of zombies and grapple around. It all feels good to perform. It isn't buggy nor delayed.
    - Amazing loot system. Leveling up and gaining better weapons than before feels great. Having a high level weapon is a pretty amazing feeling, especially when it dominates a zombie.
    - Good variety of zombies. There are normal walkers, runners, big angry dudes and many more variations of zombies. All require a certain tactic to defeat. You can't go face to face with the giant zombie because it will crush you and you shouldn't waste your ammo on normal walkers because they are easy to kill using melee weapons.
    - The game has a fitting story. Although it has some flaws, I find that for the most part the story is pretty good. Yes, it has it's ups and downs but for me it was mainly ups. I found myself having fun with some of the missions and feeling pretty immersed.
    - Amazing physics. Drop kicking, pushing zombies off roofs, shooting heads off of zombies, sticking an arrow in one of Rai's goons, you name it! You can do it all and it always feels so real. Nothing more pleasant than watching a zombie plummet to it's death from a 5 story building.
    - Online mode is fun and rewarding. It keeps the game alive and can give you good loot if you were to succeed in your objective. This is a good alternative to those who have finished the game and are looking for more.
    - DLC's are mainly great. The following DLC was pretty fun. One thing I really liked though was that some DLC's allowed you to complete objectives for in game loot. It was kind of like an arcade game that gave you high level loot if you were to accomplish the tasks properly.

    Cons:
    - The leveling up system can get complicated. It took me a few days to figure out why the zombies weren't dying from my higher level weapons only for me to realize that the zombies level up with you.
    - Easy to duplicate. I'm not gonna lie, I duplicated some things and it really made the game more fun for me. I had already finished everything and I decided to duplicate some things. I see how this can be bad though, it can mess with competitive online PVP matches.

    There are a few other cons but they really don't mean much. What I'm trying to say is that this game is just amazing. I highly recommend you play this game and if you have a buddy then it makes it twice the fun!    … Expand

    The filling of the world is also impressive!!! Namely, the quantity of NPC, detailed and meticulous detail work, AI is smart and unpredictable. It’s not just Zombie City, this city is alive and it’s breathing, it’s feeding you its Atmosphere and its oppressive Zombie Apocalypse: screaming, moaning, ruined destinies, survival, virus, daily struggle for life, decline - all this makes Dying Light unique and alive Zombie Apocalypse!! Atmosphere - it is in the game just Magnificent, thanks to the filling of the world, the sound design, the soundtrack, ordinary citizens, zombies and all above mentioned before!!!

    The Parkur system - is also excellent and professional! Parkur in Dying Light is a kind of Unique, one of the pleasures of overcoming obstacles, moving around the city, climbing buildings or using in combat!

    The optimization was also done very well, it is about the PS4 version of the game! Critical moments in the game - Not present!!! Excellent frame rate, small drops fps are available, but they are small! Optimization in general is very and very pleasant!!!

    One of the best ganes i have ever played. The combat is extremly satisfying and the zombie physics as well. The story is good, but a little short. They nailed the two maps both are really great.

    Honestly, I don't know why so many people are saying the story is bad, it's pretty good imo. Mechanics of the game are great too. While the AI is alright, there are a couple problems and glitches with it, same with the grappling hook, which is why I took 2 points down. Overall, it's a decent game.

Also you’re supposed to just have basic electrician knowledge, for example what a power box looks like and where to find it. They’ll just send you out to turn them on and not even show you a picture.     7/10. Dying Light- крепкая зомби игра(одна из лучших в жанре). Сюжет. Сюжет в этой игре хороший, игра вполне реиграбельна, сюжет не надоедает.
    Геймплей. Геймплей тут безусловно хорош, есть древо навыков, возможность крафтить оружие и разные вспомогалки, бить зомбаков интересно и весело, присутствует расчленёнка, что прибавляет +1 бал.
    Графика. Графика средняя, сама игра в мутных цветах,    7/10. Dying Light- крепкая зомби игра(одна из лучших в жанре). Сюжет. Сюжет в этой игре хороший, игра вполне реиграбельна, сюжет не надоедает.

    Dying light does not have amazing graphics, but its fine. The concept was unique and the it works very good and also the game is fun because of this. The story isn't very good, but i still liked it.

    Honestly one the greatest horror rpgs that I've seen. The weapon variety is just a chef's kiss, along with the characters, the parkour elements, and skill trees which combine together into an amazing horror rpg.

    The best zombie game I've ever played, an excellent system of fighting and parkour, the story is not the best of all, but it's a good decision to be part of it in the first person and with good missions secondaries, it becomes very entertaining and fun.

    They should be embarrassed they put this out in this state, have to turn off then back on after EVERY check point! Unacceptable.
    The sad part is its not a bad game but just put out broken. as of now I cant even play online with friends.

    I thought about giving it a 7 considering how bad I remember the story and characters were. But seeing how I spent almost 200 hours on this game and how much I liked the gameplay, I have to give it an 8. An extremely entertaining and fun game, the parkour and combat are top notch even for today’s standards, online play was hella fun as well. Overall a great experience and recommended for anyone.

    Hostly not bad for a zombie game It can get unbelievably repetitive and has a god awful story that I couldn’t even bother to sit though half the time. Combat is pretty fun but the loot aspect is not great, really slow to get actually useful weapons.     Running and parkour feels good, drop kick is great, the grappling hook makes no sense realistically but at least it’s fun to use.

    All I can say is this is one of my favorite zombie games. Also, the story of the hero is very interesting and we can see here the choice and change of the main character Kyle Crane. the mechanics are really well done especially parkour. Techland did a really good job.

Dead Island has a coherent survival gameworld, meaning a no Z respawn zone around the player and noises indicating Z presence nearby. In Dying light Z respawn near the player indefinitely and approach in complete silence. Simply broken as survival game. Associated with questsGlad i've tried it before buying the 2. Not sure why it's loved and Dead Island trashed, maybe WB marketing power. Dead Island has a coherent survival gameworld, meaning a no Z respawn zone around the player and noises indicating Z presence nearby. In Dying light Z respawn near the player indefinitely and approach in complete silence. Simply broken as survival game. Associated with quests pattern based on searching the tiny entrance to some building it's a complete chore. Parkour is fun but forced by the absence of fast travel. And ultimately useless since the fast Z can climb on the roofs. The rest works just fine now and it's still updated.… Expand

    Literally everything in Dying Light does not work: the zombies are so OP that even with a lot of hits they still stay alive while those with an hammer have a “Wi-Fi” attack (they manage to hit you even if you are several meters away), parkour 2 out of 3 times does not work, missing the holds where you would like to hang, the missions themselves do not work (example: 2 secondary missions, such as "the outposts" and "radio tower", are almost impossible to complete following continuous crashes for no apparent reason).

    Side quests are boring, repetitive, very long and there are lots of them. Furthermore, the construction of the various rooms you visit is always the same, serving only to confuse the player.

    Dungeons where you enter during side quests (for example closed apartments) are mazes, each door either does not open from your side or it is impossible to interact with it and sometimes the doors with zombies behind them do not open due to some strange bug.

    The protagonist Kyle Crane can climb any type of construction (not even Spider-man is at the same level as him) but when you need to climb a rock he suddenly forgets how to hang on, resulting in a fall to the ground with death.

    During my gameplay I almost immediately dedicated myself to free all the shelters, but after a few days those in Old Town were to be freed again, and I honestly couldn't figure out why.

    Playing with my friends, we decided to dedicate ourselves to completing all the side quests and after completing several of them, we went back to our game worlds to see which ones we were missing and ... surprise! Some quests we had done together weren't counted as completed even though they were synchronized.

    As for the story it can be said that it is quite mediocre and the gameplay consists of going from point A to point B to point C, and then back to point A, meeting a few hundred zombies along the way. Throughout the story you will face like 3 bosses, while the rest are just enemies that you can either kill or ignore.

    To continue, even the DLC "The Bozak Horde" does not make sense: in fact, in addition to being frustrating and boring, it often happened that I or one of my friends crashes, but this only happened in groups of 3 (I don't know if even for groups of 4 is like this), making us waste only time, and in addition ALL the trophies are buggy.

    As for the DLC "The Following" we can not say anything other than yet another failure. The story that characterizes it is slightly better than the main game but still trivial, while the gameplay is not based on parkour, but in using vehicles to reach the indicated places: where is the problem? The map is huge but empty, so without a vehicle the road is really long and if you don't have enough materials to repair the only thing that allows you to actually play the game, you are forced to cross a wasteland on foot, losing dozens of minutes. On top of all this, occasional bugs can't be missing, such as various overlapping NPC talks or meaningless side quests.

    Dying Light is the ultimate zombie game.

    After playing Dead Island in 2011, I was thirsty to whack zombies again. I hesitated between Dying Light 1 and 2, and I was absolutely right to take 1 when I see the face of 2. Good points : - The fights are excellent, being able to dismember the zombies is enjoyable - AI (of non-zombie enemies) very correct - The atmosphere of Harkan the    Dying Light is the ultimate zombie game.

    Good points :
    - The fights are excellent, being able to dismember the zombies is enjoyable
    - AI (of non-zombie enemies) very correct
    - The atmosphere of Harkan the city of the game
    - Very endearing NPCs and a pretty good villain
    - Long lifespan, with 50% of side quests which are good and the rest a little mediocre
    - Excellent soundtrack, very discreet
    - Main quest missions are fun
    - Incredible DLCs let's say it, The Following and Hellraid are masterclasses

    Negative points :
    - Some little worked side quests
    - Lack of balance of some zombies at the end of the game
    - The loot is quite boring, no big surprises with weapons
    - The crafts system is blah
    - The skill to run on the walls is a real ordeal, do not activate it

    The ultimate Zombie experience for so far.
    Do not take the 2 which regresses in any point compared to this one.    … Expand

    The same feelings are evoked as with dead island, but now with parkour. Made more of a difference than expected.

    I saw the story when the game came out and i loved it. I didn't have a good pc back then so i only watched the gameplay. Last year Dying Light 2 came out and i knew i had to play it now that i had a more capable pc . After i finished the second game i wanted to play the first one also and it was so good. Both games are awesome. The only thing that i feel is missing is the love intrest. YouI saw the story when the game came out and i loved it.     This game is a very good open world with a lot of side quest to do. In my opinion dying light is the best open world zombie game.

    really fun game about dropkicking zombies, didn't really care about the story but that's a me problem. Graphics were amazing and the ragdolls were funny. Only 2 problems were that the grappling hook was a little weird at times which can kill you if not careful and there is no way of exiting or restarting a challenge short of either failing or pressing along.

    If you want to play a zombie game this is the one, it is absolute perfection. The best zombie game to date. One of my most replayed games.

    me parece un mierdon así de grande jugarlo en difícil, estoy en la misión de "busca un sobre con unos planos" hay un chaval que no para de disparar y yo con una puta tubería de agua, me estas tocando los cojones, encima para matar a un zombi, si, UNO tienes q pegarle 40 patadas para que se muera, incluso mas, no se si ni he exagerado, no lo jueges en dificil, es una mierda.
