    Pefect sound design, graphics, car handling, social/online features with great replay value... It is the spiritual successor of PGR, the IP that sadly MS ditched in favor of the much inferior Forza. Now that gap is filled by Drivclub.

    This game is awesome, don't listen to the sad sack Xbox Fanboys that give this game 0 (they're just jealous they haven't even got a game in the last 6 months and won't be getting any games for the first 6 months of 2015). This game is easily the best looking racing game ever made and is a delight to look at and play.     When I first reviewed Driceclub I gave it a 3 due to the many flaws and bugs within the game. But after Evolution Studios continued to update the game I can happily say I now enjoy Driveclub this is one of the best racers I have played in years. The graphics is stunning and the detail Inside and outside is incredible you can truly see the great work evolution studio did in the graphicsWhen I first reviewed Driceclub I gave it a 3 due to the many flaws and bugs within the game.     The car detail is just as impressive and I keep getting drawn back to stunning visuals in this game having played forza horizon 2 I can say with pride that Driveclub simply beats Forza Horizon 2 in the graphics and visuals department. there may not be as many cars but hey you won't mind the lack of cars because you will enjoy the driving mechanics of the game and yes the controls is amazing.

    The game finally feels complete and polished and I'm looking forward to playing Driveclub for many hours this is truly one amazing racing experience    … Expand

    I really enjoy playing Driveclub. First I tried free version for PS+ members and I likeed this game so much that I bought full version with all expansions. The game is gorgeous to look. It is more arcade game than true driving simulator and most importantly blast to play. Weather effects are awesome, there are tons of cars to choose from, tons of tracks to race on. Everything in the gameI really enjoy playing Driveclub. First I tried free version for PS+ members and I likeed this game so much that I bought full version with all expansions.     Driveclub is a different game now to what it was for the first few months so the reviews do not really represent the whole experience as it exists now.     All in all it is a great package with benchmark setting visuals, amazing sound, a tight driving model, varied tracks and locations and a wide range of cars which handle very differently.

    Been playing this from day 1, pretty much every day and love it. Have over the years played the Gran Turismos, NFS, Shift, Grid,etc games and I dont remember being as addicited to them as I have Driveclub.
    I`ve now completed the single player tour whilst there was online issues but have now played some 15 online races, only 2 or 3 were lagging the rest were great fun.

    The only issues i dislike is that, races start too quickly without any leaderboard info,etc. Doesnt always show your best times when in a race, only in a time trial. AI can be too aggressive sometimes. Some graphics are not as good as the pre-release videos, alpha on trees,pylons,etc are low res and have a halo around them. Damage is just a decorative effect that doesnt effect the car performance.
    If they can tweak these problems, and sort the online challenges,etc out then this will be one of the best driving games ever.    … Expand

    really enjoyable racing game , graphics look's awesome , gameplay is fun . this is truly next gen racing game that PS4 owners should play . driveclub with weather patch could be more fun

    Driveclub is a beautiful racing simulator that values the art and science of the race over the drama and theatrics that often make racing so appealing. While the game lacks in certain areas, namely in their complete lack of real collision dynamics, the overall racing experience is one of sublime enjoyment.

    All I wanted was a solid, circuit-based racer with amazing graphics and that is what I got. Seems a lot of people built up some crazy hype for themselves. A lot of trolls on here as well.     The game is spectacular, a pleasure for true gamers. After the update then I became more beautiful still. The races in the rain makes it look real.
    Has many who complain about the launch of mistakes, but this game deserves a second chance to those who only played at launch, after the updates, he turned another game.

    This game get a bad rep from its early days, but now it's an entirely different matter.
    The game is fun, it works flawlessly, and if you also get the season pass, has an absurd amount of content.

    One of the best racing games I've ever played.

    The gameplay has a Project Gotham like points system and it's addictive, the graphics are stunning, and the cars are rendered to a near obsessive degree. All of the 100+ cars and Motorcycles (yes Superbikes were added) feel incredibly lifelike and distinctly different.

    The weather fx are the best i have ever seen in a videogame and they alter the gameplay immensely. From thunder and lightning rain storms, to blizzard like conditions with zero visibility Driveclub has every type of weather you could ask for.

    The season pass is a steal with the ridiculous amount of content and the sheer number of freebies you get with the base game is astounding. The Driveclub BIKES expansion released yesterday (Tue. October 27, 2015) and it's truly AWESOME. The BIKES expansion includes a who's who of superbike manufacturers like Kawasaki, Ducati, Yamaha, BMW, Honda, Dark Horse ect.

    The graphics, gameplay,club aspect, and incredible amount of support have made Driveclub the premier racer on the market today. The BIKES expansion just adds that much more life (and fun!) to an already lively game. A 10/10.    … Expand

    My favorite racing game ever was NFS HP2 for PS3. While that was very arcade like, I loved the sense of speed and racing it gave. With that in mind, lets jump into this review.

    Driveclub is that exceptional balance between Arcade and Sim racer; while the physics and controls may not be true to life as some hardcore SIM racers, it is definitely NOT an arcade racer, and they did an    My favorite racing game ever was NFS HP2 for PS3. While that was very arcade like, I loved the sense of speed and racing it gave. With that in mind, lets jump into this review.

    Driveclub is that exceptional balance between Arcade and Sim racer; while the physics and controls may not be true to life as some hardcore SIM racers, it is definitely NOT an arcade racer, and they did an incredible job with the physics. You can't just drift mindlessly through turns or correct oversteer in a second. You will spin out trying to floor that SRT Viper out of a tight corner, going 150+ down straightaways on an uneven road environment, not a racetrack, will take some finesse to maintain stability, and your drifts lose momentum very quickly instead of rocketing you at 10000mph through turns. There is definitely a difference in the physics between different cars. And while some are more obvious than others (the F Type R is definitely more tail happy in this game than an AMG GTS, and both are less stable compared to the AWD Huracan), you need to realize that most 500+hp rear wheel drive cars have similar physics when being pushed to the limit, as due most FWD hot hatches, and most AWD supercars. But I will say there is a detectable difference in the feel and physics throughout the cars in this game. And if you're in a race where the weather is dynamic be prepared; you may start out hugging the road in dry conditions only to be sliding around carelessly as rain and snow begin to fall a lap or two later.

    The car selection is spectacular. Yea many cars can now be found in added DLCs, especially the American cars everyone was so desperate for (myself included), like the stingray, Viper, Camaro, Charger; yea those can now be had with a DLC, suck it up, you can find this game cheap anyway so it was worth it for me. I've added that, the lambo pack, and some others b/c I want my McLaren 650s and Jag CX75 concept. But the car selection is phenomenal even without the DLC's, and some cars and packs are free to download. I was worried about a lack of recent cars since it was released last year buuuuut not the case. Lambo Huracan, McLaren 650s, AMG GTS, and some amazing hyper cars like the Lykan Hypersport, Koenigsegg One:One, and the La Ferrari, JUST TO NAME A FEW. The car selection is phenomenal. Customization goes as far as paint and livery which is pretty extensive, don't care for all the modding and crap in a game like this. How do you throw a bigger wing on the One:One anyhow?

    The graphics, sound, and level of detail in the cars and environments is mother effing mindblowing. The cockpit views are incredible. I typically go with 3rd person views in racers b/c I like to admire the cars beauty as I race, but I find myself trying to master the narrowed vision from the cockpit views or just driving casually in Time Trial modes to enjoy the fanatical level of detail and move the camera around in the cockpit. Even the driver oriented details like flipping the paddle shifters (the hand begins to float in preparation for a shift as the tach climbs, and the feet actively move to hit the gas and brake pedals). Seriously, the detail blew me away. I love getting a sense of what it feels like to be in the cabin of some of these exotics, and this game delivers and delivers and delivers. And while there may not be an extensive list of real world racetracks, there is a beautiful selection of real world locations and tracks which offers an enormous variety of racing conditions, from insane mountain passes to flat out straightaway race tracks.

    There's also an extensive single player mode in the form of the Driveclub Tour which is littered with progressive events and subevents for you to progress and increase your level, earning new cars and livery in the process. It offers a lot of fun and challenges. You've also got your quick race, time trial, and drift events you can just jump right into with a car (that you've unlocked) and track of your choice. The menu is beautifully done and easy to navigate, and they've added to the settings to allow you to tweak the smallest things like having a visible tach for the cockpit view to increasing the volume of engine noise vs. environmental sound during races. Turn engine sounds to +3db and get goosebumps from the sound of these machines. Like the interior car views but prefer the exterior engine and car sounds? Settings allow for that as well. Replays can be saved and photo mode is a thing.

    This game was definitely released in a hurry before it was complete and polished, but the fact that it's all been ironed out should allow this game the credit and reviews it deserves. It is a fantastic racer for absolutely anyone. Don't whine about how you were expecting Grand Turismo. You want to race a Daihatsu around Silverstone at 15mph? You do that. I prefer to fly in a Huayra through the treacherous North Sea hugging highways of Norway with some stormy weather and rain.    … Expand

    In the first month, this game had many server issues (it was a mess), but right now everything works perfect. DriveClub is the game with the best visuals I ever seen on any Console or PC. Even better than Project Cars or Assetto Corsa. Almost real life! Truly Amazing!

I have never played a driving game whereas had such a sense of speed or weather and light conditions have played such an important role in a race (just like real life.) Forza horizon 2 is a great driving game hosever driveclub has got me coming back over and over to shave valuable seconds from my lap or trial times.     Driveclub deserve way more then just 5.5 points (that's why I give it 10 points otherwise I would give 8.5 - 9)... the Server issues the game had at the beginning was for sure a disaster but the game itself delivers outstanding racing experience and it gets better from month to month. I just bought a steering wheel and I honestly can't stop racing.     This game is perfect! I'm a multiplat gamer and owner and I've played a couple other car/race next gen games on both the PS4 and the X1CB to include Forza Horizon 2. Dive Club blows them all away ...Drive Club makes the PS'forza killer! Lol love this game it's awesome everything about it is so well done.

    It is beautiful. The day/night cycle is just excelent, at night the shadows when your lights illuminates other cars, when the sun rises or sets. It is the best looking racing game in history. The landscape is feels so real, almost like you are really there. The races are exciting, the AI is agressive and really makes your work hard. There is no easy race in the    Best racing game so far.

    A stunning game without parallel, if FH2 was on PS4 itb would get steamrolled by this superior racer. Its a shame this game has been targeted by xbox fools who have nothing better to do because they baught a piece of **** This has been the most coordinated and sustained attack on a videogame I have ever seen and is a testament to how microsoft has poisoned the gaming industry.

    The best graphic i have ever seen in a racing game,the cars feels good,and handles well. The carsound is incredible. If you only like simulators,this is not the game for you,but if you like arcade,this game is as close to perfect,that you can get :)

    DRIVECLUB is different because it does not give you a racing line and promotes clean driving. This is a good thing because after all its an arcade track racer that everyone should enjoy. It starts off easy but gets alot more challenging later on. The social activity, when it works adds a great dimension to the game and creating or joining clubs is a good fun.     awesome game, handling seems alright to me. The graphics are stunning especially at night. The single player game is brilliant with loads of different types of tour events and cars to unlock for the single race games. These can be raced in all the playable countries with varied tracks layouts. Can't wait for the weather

It can be really frustrating with some cars on some race tracks that are nearly impossible to master, the AI that is incredibly hard to beat, but it has a ton of content and can be really challenging. Overall i had a great experience driving and finishing all the DLC's and the main races. Beautiful graphics, long race tracks, a log of cars , in my opinionI had a lot of fun with this game.     Do not listen to those ridiculous comments (Forza fan 0/10?). They don't get it. Reviews scared me until I receive it this morning. Driveclub is beautiful, fast and elegant. It does not have vibrant and flashy colors, it's not an open world, so what? Driveclub is just awesome. Test it asap, you'll love it.

    Excellent game, 1080p/30fps+, super smooth gaming experience. nice drifting, and some real racing tracks, superb. 50 cars, weather, raining rain, snow, ice tracks yaya.

    Great game, its addicting and will have you playimg tryimg to beat records. The graphics are gorgeous, the tracks are great. This game is worth it. If you are a fan of cars you get to race todayas most exotic cars, this is the game for you.

    Just bought a PS4 last week, and Driveclub today, if you're a racing fan make sure to get this, it wont disappoint!
    I'm enjoying it very much, and the graphical detail in this game is absolutely unbelievable, this has to be the best looking game ever made.
    I would be very angry if I didn't own a PS4 and only a Xboxone of PC and I weren't able to try this out.

Visually it's breathtaking, I honestly have never seen any game, driving or not, that looks this good. Quite amazing.     DC is a very competent racer, lacking in a way in variety, but if you love track racers, PGR et al, you will LOVE Driveclub. Must applaude Evo for the Free DLC tracks as well BRAVO!!

    Grande jogo!! Jogabilidade perfeito para o que se propôs, graficamente perfeito, somente o online que deixa a desejar, porém tem muito potencial, basta o serviço normalizar, o que já vem ocorrendo aos poucos. Enfim é o jogo de corrida do momento!!!

It provides the realistic graphics of a sim and combines it with the addictive and enjoyable gameplay of a solid arcade racer. The multiplayer is the driving focus of the game but theere is tons of fun to be had in the tour and challenge modes. Since the game is so socially driven, you are never actually feeling alone even away from your club thanks to neat time and performance challenges set by other players that pop up at certain points during the games tour mode. Just give the free PS+ version a shot and you will see what I am talking about, and then buy this awesome game. 10/10… Expand

    Wow, what a handling! It reminds me of good old PGR times and the handling feels just right! The same goes for the graphics and the sound. Especially the sound is amazingly good!

    Only letdown: No private lobbies :( But they will add them with a patch

    I am very impressed with the game. The blending of some arcade elements with sim elements make it one of the most unique games I've played in a long time. Don't listen to the trolls. This game is worth it.

    Great arcade racer reminiscent of PGR that achieves everything it sets out to do while looking beautiful at the same time. One of few racing games that gives you a real sense of speed while playing.

    It has been a while since I played any racing games. That being said, I am not really into racing games with "character". I tried "Need for Speed rivals" and "The Crew - closed beta" and honestly did not like either of them much. I would rather jump directly into a race than drive to one. Different cars handle differently though. The graphics are gorgeous and have a real life feel. The spectators are not that good looking though. Also, I did not like the corner cutting penalty - it makes no sense in this game. The time of day controls are great though and night driving feels just like driving at night - without any huge lit up signs point the way. It is a good game - easy to get into. Customization has its time and place, but if you do not invest enough time to upgrade your car you can get left behind in a few weeks time. I like it because this is not a game where you drive around, it is one where you race.… Expand

    great game the visuals, the driving, and the sound are spot on... the lod of detail with the environments are great... the car detail is spot on... nice game to pick up and play.. love the social aspects of the game as well... very intuitive and fresh... kinda wish it had more cars and was a little more loose with the little road we can drive on.. other than that great game

    Also do not forget the numerous updates you are going to get whether on the free or paid for version.

    So far i am really enjoying the game. It has some of the best graphics and is easily comparable to pgr mixed with a little ridge racer. The social aspect is also a nice touch kinda reminds me of burnout paradise as far as that goes. Just don't go into it expecting gt or forza cause sim it is not, no customizing outside of paint jobs which is fine it gives you more time to race.

    I've spent two days playing it now and honestly i'm loving it. This is exactly the sort of racing game i've been wanting for ages. Seems most racers these days are obsessed with open-world environments which just leave me cold. And then there's the menu - simple and exactly what you want - no waiting for 'innovative' media rich menus to load up which only serve as an extra delay in gettingI've spent two days playing it now and honestly i'm loving it. This is exactly the sort of racing game i've been wanting for ages. Seems most racers these days are obsessed with open-world environments which just leave me cold. And then there's the menu - simple and exactly what you want - no waiting for 'innovative' media rich menus to load up which only serve as an extra delay in getting you where you want to be - in a race. How else could those gorgeous tracks load up in just 12 seconds?
    The AI can be a bit brutish at times - but then it's more predictable than playing against randoms who ricochet around the track, and recovering from a nasty 'shunt' can feel really quite good. Anyway, it's something which can easily be tweaked if necessary, along with the connecivity issues which will inevitably be ironed out.
    Gorgeous visuals, easily accessible handling with room to improve your driving technique as you progress, a thrilling sense of speed, oodles of content (52 tour events, over 160 single events (time trials, race and drift plus more on the way), but above all fun to play.
    I could have scored it 8 for now, but i know the fixes are coming and taking into consideration the upcoming photo mode, replays and incredible looking weather system, i know it's going to be closer to perfection at that point.
    I also predict that many will want to upgrade to the full version once they have had a chance to try the plus version for themselves.    … Expand

    It is such a great game!

    The graphics look stunning on the playstation 4 console, and both the cars and the landscapes looks amazing. The cars feels much better to drive, compared to any other driving game i have tried (and have tried almost everyone) ---

    Really worth trying if you even consider buying this great game !

    Best racing game since PGR 4 ! Amazing graphics and lights effects... It's an arcade game not a GT like but the gameplay is subtil, nervous and fun. It's exactly what i wanted since a long time, it reminds me MSR, PGR with a little bit of Sega rally and Ridge racer.

I love Forza. They're great games and I've been playing the series for years; this game is supposed to compete with the Grid series, not Forza and not Gran Turismo which are racing simulators.

    This game has some server issues but as a game it is great. Has loads of content and costs less than current releases by £20! People are being too negative because they wanted it for free but the majority of the people who actually forked over the money are not disappointed. I Give this game an 8 but have put 10 to counter act the hundreds of people who have given it 0 without even playing it...

    Races are not easy due to weather's conditions.

    I held off from getting Drive Club because I heard about the issues, I have only recently bought it (20/01/2015) and I have to say its the best driving game I have played in a long time.Due to the issues there is a ton of free content and I have to sat that anyone that has a PS4 needs to by this even if its just to look at the graphics and weather effects. Whatever this was at launch I now regard this as one of the best driving games ever made. Yes there is no tuning and very little in the way of frills. And I love that. pick track pick car then race.     I preodered Driveclub back in 2014. I was so excited to play this game, when it finally came out. I was not disapointed. I have not not had any Issue with the AI, its worth to note that I have played on the highest difficulty since the begining, and on that level the AI is both challenging and fair. I have not not had any Issue with the AI, its worth to note that I have played on the highest difficulty since the begining, and on that level the AI is both challenging and fair. Back when the game came out I would probably have given the game a 7/10. It was fun, but needed something extra. I bought the season pass, craving for more. The season pass is so worth the money. You just get so many new tours and lots of sweet new cars to play with. Evolution studios, is also really dedicated, to listen to feedback, espcially on their facebook fansite. They do frequent updates to keep us informed on the new stuff they are working on and responds to peoples feedback. This dedication is what have helped making this game a 10/10 from me. The love for the game they have made really do shine through with everything in the game. Time trials is so addicting, as I always want to beat my friends best times and try to beat the global leaderboard. Multiplayer is also alot of fun, and there still keep coming new multiplayer modes, which is great. Driving online with your club is fun espcially if you are in a party with your team and talk together while trying to win against the other team or if its just free for all fun. Sure there is some **** races once in a while, but that is not something you can prevent, because some people are just **** drivers. Not the developers fault, The controls of the game is responsive, the weather effects are amazing! And overall this game is just a great arcade racer with loads of hours of fun. I still play it till this day, for the multiplayer, time trials, the continued added new content (cars, tours). I can not reccomend this enough if you like arcade racers. But you have to dedicade your time into perfecting your driving. If you do so, you will have a great time with this game.     This game is a blast. its a mix of arcade and simulation. had the game since day one and despite server issues i loved it and still do, since its miles better than few weeks after release.

I have dedicated, probably close to 250 hours to this game and i will say hands down its best fun i had with a racer since Hot Pursuit 2010 (not including simulators).

    Great selection of cars out of the box, plus loads of DLC cars, personally i will wait until all DLC is bundled together at the right price.

    Graphics are stunning, especially during rain races and its not just eye candy, rain really affects game play in a big way.

    Online play can be chaotic in a way that that people will slam full speed into sharp corners or use you as a brake which could make you end up last BUT unlike other games this one rewards you non the less, you gain points for you and your club. if im running last and no chance of catch up i drift and complete challenges. Still online is mad fun either way, even if you end up last you can still overtake those who play like retards and have proper racing with good players.

    Do not let user score of 5.9 scare you away. You see when the game came out it was reviewed by many Xbox owners who do not even own PS4 or the game or ever played it. but this is modern gaming for you. i usually do not decide on a buy by the review unless its lower than 5/10.    … Expand

    Gra wymiata pod każdym względem. Wymagająca, piękna, daje niesamowitą radochę z wyścigów. Oczywiście w pewnym momencie można powiedzieć, że robi się niesamowicie trudna, ale kiedy zmierzymy się z innymi graczami w trybie wyzwań - zdajemy sobie sprawę, że to my jesteśmy po prostu ciency i musimy więcej trenować.

The handling and mechanisms are so satisfying to drive with and the visuals provide a almost real experience. The game also features an extensive and gorgeous photo mode and a huge variety of mainstream and quirky cars for different play styles. I often find myself distracted byPerhaps the best looking next-gen game by far. DRIVECLUB is a fantastic game but only if you're a racing fan. The handling and mechanisms are so satisfying to drive with and the visuals provide a almost real experience. The game also features an extensive and gorgeous photo mode and a huge variety of mainstream and quirky cars for different play styles. I often find myself distracted by the gorgeous rain or lighting but have an absolute blast. The frame rate is 100% smooth and I had not experienced A SINGLE BUG. Witch is fantastic, Evolution Studios are still supporting this game really well a year on with fairly priced DLC and free content updates every month. The attention to detail, the location variety and the amount of event settings you can mess with is amazing. An absolutely brilliant game sadly let down in reviews by its launch server issues last year. The game has come MILES since then and is a really, really solid game.… Expand

But it was this game that really put me in a real breathing car which not only looks and feels right, roars loud and gives an adrenaline shot matched by none.

    I accept there is no story line and there is no car modification but hey we have to admit, it is only required when core (racing itself) is weak. This game ticks all the primaries and leave very few in secondaries.
    The multiplayer section is flooded with events and players where you don't have to wait or queue up, you spend more time in car rather than menu.
    Lets admit it, even after two years of its release no other racer has came to close in graphics and sound department (except NFS which is dumb in so many other areas).
    If any racing game is going to beat this GEM in future, it will be none other than "Drive Club 2".    … Expand

    Driveclub hoje além de ser extremamente divertido e desafiador, ele se tornou referencia técnica. Todos os jogos que concorrem diretamente com Driveclub são inferiores na questão gráfica e não apenas isso, a produtora esta sempre atualizando o game além de trazer dlcs. O lançamento infelizmente foi conturbado, mas hoje sem duvida é o jogo de corrida da atual geração até o momento!

    Unfortunately the release version of the game was far from ideal, but after months of hard work the game changed in all aspects! Graphically, the game is at the highest and yet still unattainable for racing games!

And the patches and DLCs added even dynamic weather, new cars, new tracks, and what not. The graphic of Driveclub (2014) still looks awesome and is best in class. Neither Gran Turismo Sport nor Forza 7 (both 2017)I started playing Driveclub in 2016, so I never experienced the launch issues. The gameplay and progression system is great. The driving experience feels asolutely real, the cockpit perspective is so awesome - I cannot play Project Cars 2, and other racing games anymore, they are all generations behind. Sure the driving physics is in no way as realistic as GT Sports or even Assetto Corsa, but it's a nice middle ground between Arcade a la recent Need for Speed games and Assetto Corsa. Unfortunately Sony closed down the developer studio, though many devs moved over to Codemaster to work on an still unannouced game - so let's hope they brought over their awesome game engine and the great driving model.… Expand

    I bought this game in 2017, I am delighted with everything, I'm disappointed by the fact that the team of creators was dissolved ....     Driveclub is a must-have for any PS4 racing fan. It’s ideal for anyone who enjoys a good arcade racer. It’s challenging, but teaches you how to overcome every single one. Because of this, Driveclub is far more rewarding than its peers. This coupled with fantastic graphical fidelity, impressive sound design, and adrenaline-inducing sense of speed makes Driveclub one of the best racing games available on current-gen systems.

    The sense of speed offered by Driveclub reminded me of the brilliant first GRID and I was having a lot of fun until I realized that cars are indestructible. Whether you stroke a wooden fence or smash into another vehicle at 300 km/h your car drives exactly the same afterwards. [Dec 2014, p.66]
