    Simply incredible, I'm not the most creative person but have been able to put together simple designs for characters in a game I want to make and used other peoples designs for things I don't care about. I've also been playing a lot of the games people have made and some are brilliant. Can't wait to see what people come up with next! The value for money is insane, don't miss this one!¬

    Revolutionary game. I've been playing it since the early access and it became one of my favorite games ever. Already put 1000 hours in it, wether through playing people's creations or creating myself and the magic of it never gets old. the community is welcoming and helpful.

    Arts dream, the Mm story mode, is also a true masterpiece in story telling, visual beauty, and vibrant emotions. It perfectly showcases what dreams is capable of, while simultaneously sparking inspiration around ever corner. Truly a sight to behold, that may have you in tears by the end.

    I've been dreaming since the first day that the beta released 12/2018 and though that time I've learned more about game dev, design, art, animation, sfx, than I ever thought possible.

    Alright, I played the EA quite some time and the full release now and all I can say is Dreams is the most wonderful piece of software ever created. Please buy and support this game! Whoever reviewbombs this game: Your life is completely out of control. Seriously. So I suspect it to be Nintendo fanboys, of course.

    The creation aspect is really accesible, but it's really deep as well, the victory of Dreams is make people, like me, who don't usually create to try out new and risky stuff, there is a sence of sharing with any asset in the game avilable to you and tje campaign while short showcases only the begining of what Dreams can be.

    Dreams, encourages collaboration and builds a community unlike anything seen before.
    With a Creative Suite capable of creating music, animation, games, sculptures, paintings and / or anything in between or some crazy hybrid. The story mode Is a touch cheesy, but is intended to demonstrate what is capable of being made. I am one of the lucky ones who got to beta test this product, and it's early phases. Afterwards I proceeded to purchase the Early Access. And between these two phases, there were several updates including a lot for the Early Access. Now with the arrival of the full game and campaign, wrapped in a passion project stuffed with ambition, I have I can truly say that this isn't a niche game. If you can't create you can play whatever I have. , you can curate and bring everybody's attention to the appropriate place. If you don't like games. There is a full dedicated.     I've been playing Dreams since it reached Early Access last year. This "game" (it's more of a game building engine than a game) is incredibly intuitive and challenges your creativity. Want to build a racing game? go for it! first person shooter? why not! want to build a space exploration game? the sky is not the limit, the limit is your imagination.

    I’m struggling to think of a game in recent memory that has blown me away in the same way that Dreams has. As someone who is not very artistic, comparing my creation (an Oak Tree), to one of my more complex creations (a fully working Etch-a-Sketch), I’ve definitely come to appreciate that Dreams is a game that (like most), you get better at in time. It can be a little overwhelming at first, but my advice is to start small. Start with a tree, or a brick, or a car. You might just be surprised what it turns into!    … Expand

It's really good, you can tell it's somehow made for children because of the way tutorials are and how easy they are made. But this game is essentially a game engine made fun. Just look at the negative reviews, 1 out of 15 people find them helpful. Sometimes my PS4 Pro sounds like an airplane but if you canI will give this game a 10 because so far I found no reason to give it any lower. It's really good, you can tell it's somehow made for children because of the way tutorials are and how easy they are made. But this game is essentially a game engine made fun. Just look at the negative reviews, 1 out of 15 people find them helpful. The community is awesome and very helpful to everyone. Dreams is not just an engine its way more then that. Its a full package where youc can play tons of differnt games that are already been made by the community.

    Not often a game comes along and completely steals your heart.... today is Valentine’s Day very fitting for this masterpiece to be released. Dreams is so open ended you could play something new everyday for the rest of your days and still not play everything. This game easily deserve a 10/10.

    As someone who has always wanted to be a game designer but doesn't have the money to do so, this game allows me the ability to do exactly that. Be a game designer! With amazing sculpting and positioning mechanics, Dreams is a massive leap forward for game creation and an easy way to let your imagination run wild. Definitely a must play.

I got instantly hooked. It is really impressive how powerful it is as a development tool. You can play games, you can create stuff like art or music, and you can develop a full game. The game does a great job with the tutorial, and it also has some projects where you can see the potential. It’s worth to mention that some people have recreated old-school games and I saw some people willing to give us titles that were cancelled, some of them with impressive results.

    Dreams is really impressive in many fronts, fun to play, charming, and an incredible powerful tool. I’ve seen creations from the community that could pass for the work of a professional studio. Can’t wait to see what the community brings and also what I will do with Dreams!    … Expand

On the other hand, I feel that the user created levels in dreams are a bit lack luster. I feel crappy writing this as I am not a creator and can't even imagine the hours these creators put into their games. I guess more than anything the magic just doesn't feel there especially when compared to LBP. Still that isn't my biggest issue with dreams cause I can only imagine that the creators are only going to get better and better with the create function of the game. My biggest problem with dreams is the game play and visuals. Visually the game is hideous, the characters are blocky, they cloud like state of the world just doesn't really add anything, visually it looks like a free to play mmorpg graphically. and then comes the game play mechanics, the controls just don't work that well, which is kind of saddening considering how fluid everything ran on LBP. One of my biggest issues is the jump functioning its overly sensitive, honest most of the controls are. I guess all in all dreams is a ps4 game that should have come out on the pc, Still i do like that it was only 40 dollars and I did play a few games that were fun. All in all I feel that's its a game that's either for you or not for yo. If you're a creator its amazing but for people just looking to find really awesome created games it can be a challenge to find those games. I'm glad media molecule created such an amazing game for creators, I'm just hoping for their next project they create something that is also fun for just players… Expand

    Dreams is truly something refreshing, and unlike anything before it. I’ve never been an artistic person, but Dreams and the community around it give me inspiration to create and learn. I find it hard playing a traditional game after picking up dreams, it scratches an itch nothing else can touch. Give yourself time to learn the controls and a whole new world will open in front of you

    It is a sandbox of possibilities and imagination, a platform for players to express their ideas and thoughts and bring them to fruition. Over the last few months the amazing community that's been using the early access have done just that, and now its been released to the rest of the world, dreams is only going to become bigger and grander than ever before, now that more people are getting their hands on these incredibly powerful tools.
    Don't expect your Triple A titles here though, there's no massive RPG's, FPS's or action games, with polished animations, voice acting and full campaigns, that's not whats on offer here. Though what has been created is truly mind blowing, considering everything that's been made has been done just using a PS4 controller and someones imagination. The creations range from mini games, art, music tracks, animations, the weird and wonderful, there are many demo's and homages paid to other IP's too, from Mario, Sonic, Dead Space, Fallout 4, Naruto, Sponge Bob, to all your favorite super heroes, the list is almost endless. All of these creations are easy to find too thanks to the NetFlix style menus that feel intuitive to use right away.
    The ease of use translates to the rest of dreams too, from the opening that gently teaches you the controls, of how to navigate using your glorified cursor in the shape of a cute customisable creature, called an Imp. Also the way all the creation tools have tutorials to help you find that new talent inside of you, that you may not have known you had, or the built in accessibility options to change controller types to movement speeds, giving players many options to find the most comfortable way to experience Dreams.
    There is so much to try it can feel overwhelming at times, but because of the smart inclusion of Imp Quests, which are mini tasks built into dreams that nudge you in the directions of the tools you may not have tried previously, gaining experience points for an overall level, and a title that represents your current play style, whether it's in music, sound design, animation, art, game design, curation and just playing, it feels satisfying and is constantly rewarding you for trying new things. There are jams too which give you a theme for a couple weeks to try and make something you wouldn't normally, and is then voted on by the community for some special recognition. All of these features helps keep things fresh and fun at all times.
    One of the biggest things that makes Dreams special is the community, everyone is extremely friendly, and the social side to dreams is always a positive and welcoming place for anyone who chooses to interact with it. Dreams encourages you to share your creations for others to reuse in their own creations, or to leave comments and feedback via Imp quests, creating a wonderful community. It extends to twitter, Facebook groups, Discord forums and an ever growing YouTube video catalogue. It even has its very own online app called indreams.me which is full of amazing features too, like being able to find Dreams or Dreamers and add any level to a play later list, that you can find when you log into dreams next, if you are logged in you can just launch a game or dream from your device right there and then, with minimal loading screens, this is all very impressive. There is also tips and guides for all the tools, and a section to report any bugs or general feedback.
    Media Molecule are always hard at work answering your questions, and finding ways to make dreams even better, with the promise of VR support and Multiplayer in the near future, it's going to be an interesting year ahead. With the amount of diverse things to do in dreams, you'll very rarely get board, and if one thing isn't quite working for you, then its so quick and easy to try something completely different, I can't recommend it enough.
    From playing the Media Molecule creations like Art's Dream, a feature length showcase of whats possible in Dreams, or experiencing all the weird and wonderful things players have made, to dipping your toes in the plethora of creation tools, it has something for everyone. The love and dedication Media Molecule has put into making this a solid and powerful tool really shines through.     I was an early adopter, buying Dreams in its beta phase and while I appreciate what this game is doing, I find the controls quite clunky to work with. Its fun playing other peoples creations but I found myself getting bored quickly. Its one of those that if you have time to invest, you will get the most out of it.

    But if this gets an update for supporting kb/m on Dream Shaping, I'll change my score to 9 or even 10.    … Expand

    Infinite games Bugs are mostly up to creators of their levels. Making old school games and adding the good old glitches in isn’t that difficult actually. Let’s take Super Mario Bros. The logic is very simple. If mario is in the air and get’s a little bit inside a block, the game pushes him the opposite direction he’s pressing the dpad.     A beautiful and challenging game that has no real equal in the world of consoles. Complex at first, its well designed system and learning curve allows you to create anything. It's a pity that being an exclusive many people miss it and don't realize how valuable it will be for the audiovisual world in the future.

    I've bought dreams because I wanted to play other creations and maybe one day make my own.
    This "game" have the potential to be massive once people start noticing it.
    Already now I'm blown away by how many good games some users have created, there's room for so much potential here and we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg. I can only speak for myself when I say that personally this    I've bought dreams because I wanted to play other creations and maybe one day make my own.

    Awesome stuff. Colorful, practical, intuitive. Very nice price . Not for everybody. Unlimited content (theorycally). Enormous potencial for the future. It needs more import options, however, and that can be fixed I hope.

    Poor game play and the levels peie make are boring. Creation tools are OK but it's Not a game!

    Dreams’ creative mode might not integrate with PSVR as naturally as hoped, but its cemented position as a hub of invention makes it an easy recommendation. Paired with the platform’s inherent comfort issues, its sprawling, untamed ecosystem can prove to be a minefield to navigate, but for every unwelcome rollercoaster ride (literally and figuratively), there’s another wish waiting to be fulfilled or something genuinely original to discover. The only way to truly judge Dreams is by the strength of its creations and those already speak for themselves; if you want to embrace VR’s experimental side, you shouldn’t miss it.

    On one hand, Dreams is a bottomless bag filled with toys, vignettes, and indie games. On the other, Dreams is a must-own for anyone who's ever been curious about game design.
