Many fans of this game (or fans of anything that even has a 0.1% chance of eventually competing with Madden) will immediately let you knowMany fans of this game (or fans of anything that even has a 0.1% chance of eventually competing with Madden) will immediately let you know that this game was made by a team of 1-2 people. While it is not easy to make a game with just a couple people, that shouldn't excuse the fact that this game has launched with a $30 price-tag despite being inferior to mediocre mobile games in many aspects.

The actual on-field gameplay is atrocious, receivers will run into each other and rather than bounce off or get around each other, they will simply continue running into each other, defenders will sometimes not tackle, but just stand still while the carrier continues to run into them. Actual US college rules have not be correctly implemented, as fumbles can be recovered and players will still run the ball despite being fully on the ground as they picked up the ball.

As for the management/dynasty features, the menu navigation is somehow awful as well. If you go through the game's menus for an hour, almost 15 minutes of your time will be spent waiting for the constant auto-saves to waste 10-15 seconds at a time. It seriously saves every time you return to the main menu of the dynasty mode. Also, there isn't a settings option on the main menu. Hmm.

In general, there are countless design choices that will make one wonder if the developers have ever played a college football video game (or a football game in general). The controls are needlessly un-intuitive in every regard to the point that simply trying to pause the game puts you at risk of accidentally leaving the game. No need to worry about backing out of a game with an online opponent though since after three years the series still doesn't support of any online connectivity whatsoever.

TL;DR - This game is awful and for numerous reasons that don't have to do with a small dev team, but a lack of some combination of common sense, talent and care. Even disregarding glitchy gameplay, the actual design choices used are almost always needlessly different from accepted norms. Also, it doesnt even feel like a college football game. At all. Bye

I always thought a game had to at least be at a certain level of quality to be sold on live/psn, but obviously not. And enough of the '3 man team' excuse. That does NOT excuse such a terrible game in all aspects(gameplay, graphics, sound, menus, goofy player models), especially when they actually RAISED the price of this year's game to $30, when it wasn't worth $17 from last year's game.

Horrible ai, dumb offensive lineman are too dumb to block defenders, wrs STOP before they catch the ball, hardly any interceptions/fumbles, bad play art, which the wrs don't even follow sometimes, dumb players celebrate oddly, and in the wrong situations. Saw a terrible example of this where a player ran the ball for a yard, got up and strutted as if he had a 60 yard run.

This is a terrible, terrible product.
