    Excellent expansion to a game that was already excellent to begin with. Like the base game, it tosses you into these new elements without telling you what they are or preparing you for anything, which has always been one of the most exciting (but volatile) aspects of the game. Plenty of people will find it to be unforgiving, as these roguelike games certainly aren't for everyone, but ifExcellent expansion to a game that was already excellent to begin with.     Simply the best indie game to hit PS4 to date.

    I've put in soooo many hours into this and always come back for more. The reign of Giants expansion pack I got in a sale at under £3, and it's been well worth the money. As a survival game, it is, as to be expected, exceptionally difficult. The expansion packs new seasons are actually more difficult than just the Summer / Winter of    Simply the best indie game to hit PS4 to date.

    As a survival game, it is, as to be expected, exceptionally difficult. The expansion packs new seasons are actually more difficult than just the Summer / Winter of the original, and the random attacks from giants are very difficult in some seasons.
    That said, the huge amount of new crafting items, areas, monsters and friendlies makes this the best £3 I've ever spent. If you are a fan of the game, you owe it to yourself to get this perfectly crafted add on pack. The world mode can be set up with a lot more detail now, allowing you to break into the new features slowly before going deep into it.

    If you’re not an expert, you’ll find it hard to get to the content in Don’t Starve: Reign of Giants, but fans will definitely appreciate the deeper difficulty and complexity to the gameplay offered as part of this expansion.
