When you eventually get going, the game is surprisingly addictive and moody, with bare-bones execution that still maintains an excellent attention to detail and an effective audio design rising up the hair on your back. The wicked gameplay loop of trying to survive and escape is equal parts fun and frustrating – as it pretty much should be.

Distrust is a disappointment; on influence alone a game is not made.

This is not a bad effort but the 'all characters die and you lose everything' approach can be off putting. Once you get the knack of the characters' traits and techniques, you can comfortably play through the first couple of levels, and then it can become a little tricky. The level set up is also random with each play. It could of been so much better, but saying that, it's by no means a bad game. But with the lack of save ability, it can be a bit of an effort to start again from scratch. It's novel, but just not that special. Full Review »
