The only thing that would have made the figure sets even better, would have been the inclusion of Star Wars, Tron and other series vehicles.

Even with the high cost of entry for the full experience, the Star Wars based gameplay transcends what you usually expect from a Disney Infinity game, with the Toy Box continuing to be a hub for creativity to thrive in Disney Infinity 3.0.

The third iteration of Disney Infinity brings the game to new levels. Problems seen in the two previous games are fixed, and we can now dive in the Star Wars universe thank to an all-new, enjoyable combat system. And beyond that, the Toy Box is richer than ever.

Disney Infinity 3.0 evolves into a much sturdier gaming experience and is easily one of the best Star Wars games in quite some time.

If you love The Clone Wars TV show, this is probably the most faithful and loving game rendition, and a great start for releases of new Star Wars titles.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is an improvement over its predecessors in nearly every conceivable way. While it is still features a cartoony style that doesn’t quite push the limits of modern consoles, it is an enjoyable game (especially if you have children to share it with) with as much content as the Death Star has destructive power.

Disney Infinity 3.0 sees the pop culture powerhouse flexing its formidable mega franchise muscles with impressive results. It’s a game that doesn’t just encourage the player to have fun, it insists on it; offering up a generous helping of gameplay and countless things to unlock even before you start piling on all the optional add-ons.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is a very positive step in the franchise with a lot of changes on its gameplay and presentation. All the new improvements to the ToyBox and a very good use of Star Wars franchise make that this game a perfect recommendation for gamers and fans of all ages.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is a lovely step forward for the series. The Star Wars brand is obviously the most captivating element in the game, but there are a lot of nice and important improvements, all over the place.

With the assistance of Sumo Digital and Ninja Theory, the racing and combat are vastly improved. A strong emphasis is placed on variety; hopefully signaling an end to scenarios like seemingly endless waves of frost giants.

Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars Edition adds another massive and massively popular property to the series’ roster. Both the Star Wars and Inside Out Play Sets are well done and the new Toy Box is much better organized. Since toys-to-life games are all about breathing life into your favorite characters, Disney has an advantage (at least now that they’re past the Lone Ranger). They leverage that here and the result is fantastic.

Just like its predecessor, Disney Infinity 3.0 feels a bit limited by the lack of variety in the Starter Pack, but the good news is that the studio is still on track with its core mission to create an action game for all ages. Twilight of the Republic is still a fun way to spend your time, and the Toy Box Mode should keep you busy even if you don't intend on buying any more pricey add-ons.

Third time's a charm they say. And indeed it is this time. Disney Infinity 3.0 brings not only the most complete version up to date of the series in the Toy Box mode, but a great campaign with Twilight of the Republic. Maybe it's short and easy, but its good combat system and its space travel to open hubs like Tatooine or Naboo join to bring one of the best Star Wars games we've seen in the last years

Star Wars arrival at Disney Infinity's universe is a win win. New Play Sets are the best that the galactic franchise has had in videogames in the latest years and the customization options of 3.0 are the widest and most intuitive. The most complete edition of Disney Infinity so far.

Few games today receive this much support throughout the year, and have such a dedicated community of people giving users more and more inventive creations to enjoy. If this year of Infinity is anything like the last two, 3.0 is something that kids of all ages will want to be a part of.

The biggest problem of the Infinity franchise is the terribly low difficulty level, but thanks to the tremendous atmosphere the Star Wars playsets deliver solid entertainment for kids and adults alike. The big star (as usual) is the Toybox anyway.

Disney Infinity 3.0 might be bit uneven, but it still manage to entertain greatly thanks to enjoyable combat and creative content. While the game boasts several different characters it is apparent that Star Wars hold the centre stage, although that is not a bad thing at all since well-made Star Wars games for the entire family is a rare sight.

While Disney Infinity 3.0 doesn’t try to mimic the visual realism of the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront or the sly, knowing humour of the Lego Star Wars titles, Rise Against the Empire is a well-crafted, kid-friendly salute to the classic Star Wars trilogy. My old Luke, Leia and Darth Vader action figures are long gone, but now I have new ones lining my desk. For, you know, research purposes.

Disney Infinity 3.0 is guaranteed to offer your children plenty of fun. In 2015, it’s firmly established itself as the dominant presence in this toys-come-to-life category of video game, subtly improved on the flaws that left it in mediocrity.

Disney Infinity 3.0 definitely managed to improve on last year’s model. With the fluid combat, even more Toy Box Hub options, and gameplay to cater to every play style, there are endless hours of fun here and I could write pages and pages for this review, but no one wants to read a novel.

It seems more focused on addressing complaints and shoring up weak points than it does in reinventing the wheel. It largely feels like an excuse to introduce the Star Wars juggernaut to the franchise, and it's certainly a good move. The Star Wars characters and play sets alone make it a worthy purchase for young fans of the franchise. Having Tony Stark and Han Solo team up to beat up Syndrome is just icing on the cake.

Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars has much to offer, mainly with it's great quality figure, but also on the software side of things. Well rounded, the game suffers from an excessive difficulty as it's intended for children, but adult supervision is highly recommended.

While I wish the combat had undergone more dramatic changes, better combos do help it inch its way towards a more naturalistic feel, and the achievement of combining it with a flexible platforming engine makes any omissions pretty forgivable.

A form of entertainment, created to make money for the creator. This game is no different, but that's okay, but you can be sure to have a lot of fun with just the starter pack. A great Star Wars-themed story line, with an improved Toy Box creation mode - my only complain being the lack of characters you'll be able to play as without anything but the starter pack, but I can look over that. After all, how many games let's you play as even more than one character? A very excellent game, which is easily enjoyable without purchasing all these extra figurines. Full Review »

Short: This game does stuff that a bunch of other games have done better but charges you so much more

Long: I don't know how people can justify this as a good game. Giving this game a 10 out of 10 is basically saying that this game is a good as Skyrim or Grand Theft Auto 5. That is terrible. I love some of the things people say "You can enjoy this game without buying the characters" You shouldn't have to buy any characters!! "In how many games can you play as multiple characters anyway?" Really? Have you played any games that have ever come out besides this? "Define...game. A form of entertainment created to make money for the creator" Um, No. Game: a form of play or sport, especially a competitive one played according to rules and decided by skill, strength, or luck. There are so many better games based around Star was and marvel that this game is pointless! It's like playing a free to play game and paying money for everything or buying a full price game and getting everything. This is Disney trying to exploit people's love for Disney and marvel and star wars, and it appears to be working somehow. Get any one of the lego games and you will have more fun
