Awful childlike story. Horrible AI. Bad graphics. Horrible performance even in consoles and animations. Dishonored the dishonored 1. What an irony....

This game can be played one of two ways: the way the developers want you to play, and the way that’s fun. The strath gameplay is the intended way, but it’s completely frustrating, broken and stupid. The rules are unclear and never explained properly and the core gameplay seems to be save scumming. The sad part is, there is a fun game in here, but if you play it like an action adventure romp, the game keeps telling you it’s wrong and you should feel bad. Screw this game - video games are meant to be fun, not pointlessly frustrating and annoying.

I tend to try and balance any reviews I write towards whether a game was enjoyable enough to look past its flaws and still triumph as a great game...but sadly dishonered 2 falls short on multiple fronts...for the big hype nothing has really changed from DS1 same systems, upgrades with just a slight different splattering of some new powers and weapons.

The graphics I must say are fairly basic and I know this was a feature in DS1 but it seems with so many good looking games out that they really dulled this down, the AI are clueless and within minutes of the game you realise they may spot you lurking on top of a nearby building, but cant hear the grenade you just threw to kill his partner right next to them. There isn't a huge amount of content here and going out of your way to find runes and bonecharms gets old pretty fast. All in all a hugely disappointing game that really sucked the fun out of dishonered 1 and within 5-6 missions Ive freed up memory on my PS4 and deleted it....shame.

I don't get the hype for this game. Its very bland and boring. The animation for the kills is the only enjoyable part. I find it way to repetitive with no real objective. It can be summed up by search for loot, sneak, or just kill everyone. Not much more to it than that. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After playing the first Disordered i felt a great sense of achievement. I had never played a game like this before and to be honest i struggled at times but i pushed through it. i loved the level design the attention to detail and the writing.
I cant say i was a fan of the combat but i kept playing because i enjoyed the other aspects of the game so much. i didn't not buy Disordered 2 on launch day or even the same year it came out.
when i did get round to buying i actually some how got it for free, The guy in the store who i was talking to when he served me kind of spaced out, swiped my GAME loyalty card and precoded to hand the game over to me with out charging me. I didn't really notice myself until i was out the shop and half way up the high-street. Thank god i got it for free because this game sucks a big bag of dicks.
It has the same problems as the first one. **** combat and the level design is worse combat is still shockingly clunky and unreliable. I hated it so im happy i got it for free but dam what a **** show.
The Clockwork Mansion was as far as i got.....yes Level 4 god dam it. That is the worst level design i have ever seen i dont know what they were thinking. Please don't make a 3 make another Doom instead please.

Just plain boring. Seems like it would be good with all the moves and magic. But the moment to moment gamplay is dull. Main character is a hugh let down and bland ugly crone type that is about as relatable and likeable

Возможно я бездарь и инвалид,но эта игра слишком сложная. На секунды вышел тебя обнаружили и начинаются поиски. Приходится тратить все ресурсы и убивать боссов, а не убирать без крови.

Can't even play the game. It's broken and the devs made zero effort to fix it. It has already been a week at the time of writing this review, nothing has been done.

Really disappointed with the PS4 pro support.
No supersampling enabled for owners of 1080p TVs.
The game looks really blurry and is often not fluid... It feels like a PS3 game...

It really pains me to give this game such a low score! I wanted to love it, I really did. They really changed wayyyy too many things to give this game a 8 or 10. In the first game I remember having 100 kills at some point. Another huge flaw is they turners half of the game into a puzzle game. Wether it's a perfectly hidden tune that you have to perform a mechanic you haven't learned yet to get or it's simply to progress to the next area. The places where this is most apparent is right from the beginning and in the dust area where 3 out of the 8 bone charms are too hard to get or when you get a device shortly after that sends you back in time and you have to use that to maneuver yourself between past and present to get past barriers. I gave this a 4 and not a 1 because the story tellikgnand the fighting mechanics are on point. I just feel the game is a bit falsely advertised. Expand

Completely broken port. Drops below 30 fps on the highest end hardware. The game also has really bad mouse controls they messed them up hard (smoothing forced on, and mouse sensitivity is tied to framerate)

Dishonored 1 ran at 100 fps on hardware from 2010 and worked beautifully with no control issues. Go play that if you want to play a dishonored game. Maybe some day they'll patch

Very bad game, crap storyline with graphics from the PS2... the faces of characters look deformed and mouth dont move when they talk... the voices are annoying. Why only 1st person... I think the developers should look at the new tomb raider game as an example of a how to make a game that plays well with graphics to the PS4 standard... dont buy this game.

Some of the worst writing I've ever seen in a videogame, and that's saying something. The cutscenes are absolutely unbearable, and skipping through them just leaves a clunky, mediocre stealth action game that has way, way too high an opinion of itself. Strong recommendation to avoid.

**Please note this review is for the PS4 version only, i have heard of these same issues on xbox but supposedly this is not the case on PC but idk bc no gaming PC. sadly.*

decided to pick the bundle edition with death of the outsider, never played the series but had long admired it on youtube. love the art style, game play looks excellent, narrative and world are fascinating.

unfortunately i guess the devs have decided to troll console users or something? bc my god this game plays like utter **** on ps4 pro (consoles in general from what i read). its not *technically* unplayable but its def unplayable for me bc after several hours of slogging thru this **** im done with it.

to start with the FOV is insane, its like looking down a low power telescope and theres no way to change it. its so zoomed in you routinely get hit offscreen by enemies that took two steps and went from right in front of you to off screen. it also makes looting/looking for things a pain.

right stick/camera movement is just awful - aiming it literally nigh impossible due to some weird camera acceleration that seems to happens when you aim and if you turn sensitivity down youre slow as hell anytime you need to turn. who thought this was a good idea? did they just not test any of this before release? if it was a PC game first (idk if this is the case) fine, just adjust it so it functions on consoles. i really dont understand these decisions.

the game is not exceptionally difficult, but considering its a 1st person game, these issues just make it frustrating and completely unenjoyable to play, to the point where im done even trying to adapt to it now. which is a shame bc there is a really great game here... its just totally unsalvagable imo, unless they fix these issues (and considering im writing this in 2021 i doubt thatll happen)

got it for $8, i wouldnt have downloaded and played it if you PAID me $8 knowing what i know now.

Had to turn stealth to easy because all guards are like Pain from Naruto, they all share the same vision. If one sees you, everyone sees. You cant return to stealth, enemies see you through walls and have vampiric audition.
