DiRT Rally 2.0 is a solid improvement for the rally sim made in Codemasters. The physics and the driving model are top notch, even driving with a joypad, while the lack of a couple of locations and the general aging of the Ego Engine limit the game scope.

    Modern gaming stroke again!!
Incomplete game pricing full retail + almost as much for the rest of the content as "DLC", always online even for solo modes, in game money management...
Apart from that, the "gaming" part is great, good graphics and framerate, good controls with the gamepad and solid content once you have everything.
But the solo career is a boring joke with nothing to really enjoy, all the RWD cars are almost impossible to drive even on straights lines even with all the assists and I am not even speaking of the Group B cars which all want to kill you.
If you can get it cheap, play it on short bursts or the game will piss you off quickly.

I've truly enjoyed past Dirt games, but sadly those wonderful days are behind us. This franchise has really fallen from grace. It's just not fun any more. I regret buying this almost as much as Gran Turismo 7. Even at 10 dollars this feels overpriced. It's just set up bad, feels clunky, anti-intuitive, and gimmicky. I would not recommend. Expand
