System Rift focuses on the strengths of Deus Ex to craft a satisfying stealth romp.

In all honesty, it doesn’t bring enough new stuff to the main game -- in fact it brings nothing to it, being a standalone entity -- nor does it last long enough to be a must buy. It’s good fun, challenging and interesting, but if you didn’t like the main game there’s nothing here to change your mind.

Without real innovation in gameplay mechanics, the first story DLC for the great Deus Ex: Mankind Divided makes an outstanding job in terms of narrative and story telling. Besides, this expansion has an awesome new area to explore. If you enjoyed the main game, you should check System Rift.

System Rift made for a happy surprise and happy return to one of my favorite 2016 games. There is story and gameplay worth having here, but nothing radical like a full-powered Jensen or even new weapons or abilities. Somehow though, System Rift does deliver on content that links the main game with 'Breach.' I'd be happy if the other big DLC, 'A Criminal Past,' can deliver as effectively.

A fun reason to jump back into Deus Ex, but not necessarily worth dropping coin for the Season Pass.

System Rift does an admirable job of tying Breach mode into the main story while starting to fill in the gaps between Human Revolution and Mankind Divided, but it doesn't feel complete unto itself. You’ll get two to four hours more of excellent Deus Ex gameplay, and a glimpse of what the future may hold, but not much more, which is just a bit of a tease.

System Rift is a short but sweet experience...Had Eidos Montreal added an extra couple of sections or puzzles, System Rift could have been something great.

Mankind Divided’s first DLC story is divided between a stellar narrative and a disjointed gameplay experience.

No new areas, weapons,Standalone dlc and maybe the worst dlc ever, with a $18 price tag, you'd be lucky if there's 2 hours of gameplay. No new areas, weapons, clothes, nothing. Couldn't even bring your character over from the main game. It was obviously made for the main game but was broken into a dlc to try and squeeze a few more coins out of the consumers. Adds absolutely nothing to the game. Never spend another cent of a SQ product again. Full Review »
