    As a huge Borderlands fan I wanted to like Destiny badly but couldn't bring myself to do so. The first few quests are promising: the game looks great and the shooting action is fun, but soon it all becomes extremely grindy and tedious. Every enemy is the same as the one before, every weapon you find is similar to the one you had before, the story and characters are nowhere near as fun, charming or memorable as the ones in Borderlands. But the worst problem is the terrible matchmaking. The game seems to be more fun on multiplayer and many of the toughest quests will require you to be part of a team, yet the game doesn't offer automatic matchmaking on half of its missions, making a tedious experience even more tedious if you decide to play solo.… Full Review »

    Destiny will always remain a disappointment for me; the four year plan of its construction and the three year experience since its launch hasDestiny will always remain a disappointment for me; the four year plan of its construction and the three year experience since its launch has always had the best to craft a wonderful and amazing game, but fails to do this overall in a way that feels honest and good. The Destiny: Collection is a good game to get, as the whole entire game and dlc will at least give you something to chew on until Destiny 2 comes around (or another game really). As a recurring player in its universe and culture, it can have truly awful and horrendous systems that damning to the game, but also have a collection of good moments that can make the experience worthwhile. The music, graphics, and combat are always top-notch, but the loot system, grinding nature of progression, foolish implementation of a pvp system, subpar to downright awful story and storytelling and sluggish support to additions that should have been at launch and more bring the entire game down.

    There is hope that the sequel could perhaps be FAR better than the overall package of this package, but with as much time spent and frustration I have had with it, Destiny's entirety is just lacking overall quality to engage players meaningfully and just doesn't deliver on its promises that was set out from the get go. It is perhaps the most ambitious game I have ever played and I really think the concept of Destiny is quite brilliant, but the laziness and greed of the devs and publisher just makes it more and more a pipe dream than a possibility.    … Full Review »

    I have been playing this game since day one. I do not play it as much as I did at first but this game has a high replay value and you couldI have been playing this game since day one. I do not play it as much as I did at first but this game has a high replay value and you could find yourself addicted to it. Destiny is a great cross between an FPS and an RPG game.… Full Review »
