Nov 11, 2020Very short and repetitive, doesn't add up.
Europa is beautiful, dinamic weather is vivid, but in the end nothing really changed from previous dlc, the story is very short with out thrills or emotional moments, characters are shallow and not interesting at all, new stasis ability are not very fun to use and there is no difference using it between the 3 different classes. -

Dec 13, 2020Garbage. This game just gets worse and worse for people that want to play solo. Have to grant it to the developer an expansion that removes content is a novel idea.

Nov 18, 2020We paid for most of this stuff before! Come on bungie give us some real new content!
-

-
Nov 11, 2020The expansion adds some QOL features, a new power tree and advances the story somewhat, but there is a serious lack of content when compared to prior expansions. With the simultaneous vaulting of old content along with a minimal offering, there are fewer and fewer reasons to play Destiny.

Nov 18, 2020Stasis is cool but that’s it. Very few new weapons, less content, same world loot drops that are already sunset...
-
Nov 12, 2020Lost 75% of weapons due to sunsetting, stasis in PvP makes the game unplayable, only one new strike, a 3 hour campaign, and barely 20 new weapons to obtain. This is by far the worst "expansion" (if you even want to call it that). I can't believe I actually paid $40 for this garbage. Save your money and time.

Nov 13, 2020This DLC is extremely overpriced and is lacking content beyond the very short campaign bungie really made a huge error with weapon sunsetting and beyond light adds very few new options destiny feels like a shadow of its former self save your money for a better game.
-
Nov 18, 2020This game deserve to die now, worst expansion ever made for a video game. Bungie **** on players and their game
-
Nov 12, 2020Beyond light ON CONTENT! Its definitely fun for a day or 2 until you realize that you're right back to where you were before the expansion...with nothing else new and exciting to do. If you already have game pass, then play it. If not, it's a hard pass.

Nov 12, 2020Love europa, like the new story and the ability to wield the dark, enjoy the new generic changes and looking forward to the new raid. Bit concerning that the armour I've grinded after 2.0 to eventually be sunset, bit pointless to me.

Dec 30, 2020Destiny 2: Beyond Light is not a revolution in the gameplay department and world of Destiny 2, but it can pleasantly entertain you for a while – basic shooter formula of the game still works perfectly.

Playstation Official Magazine UKDec 14, 2020Come for the change of scenery, stay for the change of abilities. Even if you don’t usually enjoy the grind, you should end up warming to this chilly package.[Issue#183, p.97]

Dec 6, 2020Beyond Light presents itself very much in the same fashion as the previous couple of Destiny 2 expansions: rough, but extremely lovable. No one can blame you for crying over your sunset Mountaintop or the inability to run the Menagerie, sure, but hey, there’s a bunch of really cool questlines ahead, a fantastic whole side drama for the Clovis Bray family and a really fun raid experience. So, at the end of the day, that’s just how Bungie makes content.
