    Destiny 2: Beyond Light is not a revolution in the gameplay department and world of Destiny 2, but it can pleasantly entertain you for a while – basic shooter formula of the game still works perfectly.

    Come for the change of scenery, stay for the change of abilities. Even if you don’t usually enjoy the grind, you should end up warming to this chilly package.[Issue#183, p.97]

    Beyond Light presents itself very much in the same fashion as the previous couple of Destiny 2 expansions: rough, but extremely lovable. No one can blame you for crying over your sunset Mountaintop or the inability to run the Menagerie, sure, but hey, there’s a bunch of really cool questlines ahead, a fantastic whole side drama for the Clovis Bray family and a really fun raid experience. So, at the end of the day, that’s just how Bungie makes content.
