reminds me of the old days pc days playing willy beamish , simon the sorcerer
maniac mansion, quest for glory or return to zork complex puzzles lots of humor great 2d graphics. alot of games dont require you to use your brain anymore this one does. so if your a mindless fps player or a bogged down button masher. stay far away REQUIRES BRAIN ACTIVITY....LOL OH GEEZ MY BRAINS GONNA

I really enjoyed Harvey's New Eyes, so after finishing it, I bought Deponia immediatelly. What a disappointment. Very repetitive conversations get boring real quick, soundtrack is quite bland (I can't even recall if it has any music, though I just played it a few hours before). And the worse is that it's buggy: the cursors often stuck at one item on the screen. Gave up after about 4 hours of gameplay. Expand

Hoping to follow in his father's footsteps, Rufus attempts to construct a makeshift rocket to leave the slums of Deponia and reach the utopian city of Elysium.

Deponia looks great on the Switch and undoubtedly has a certain charm to it. However, as is often the case with these old school point and click adventures, too many of the puzzles lack any sort of logic and it all pretty quickly

Very entertaining point and click game. The game is fairly short, but it has some nice depth to it. It has a funny story, and I didn't encounter any bugs on the way.

One of the best point and click game I ever played. It looks good, sounds well and most jokes are fun.

At first I thought, that this is just funny decent point and click adventure, but in the end the plot starts its arousing, and turns out, it's a deep and mysterious world with a lot of unanswered questions.

The first entry on the German point and click "Deponia" series is a really enjoyable game.
My main highlights of deponia are the beautifully drawn backgrounds, the english voice acting and the charismatic world building. The "family guy" sense of humor of the main character would not be suited for everyone but I have no issues with that.

The puzzles are interesting and although some of them require moon logic, most of them are doable, the minigames can be hard but you can ignore them unless you go for the platinum.
Regarding the port to ps4, the controls are good but a game breaking bug remains on the last chapter of the game, no clue how it passed the QA, but as soon as you see an anchovy save the game and be careful because you can get into a deadlock

Deponia is alright, but, all the while I was playing the game, I had this nagging feeling that something wasn’t quite right.

Deponia lands on PlayStation 4 with no new contents compared to the original edition. Despite the years passed since the release of the PC, the game is still fun and entertaining, that reminds in many ways Monkey Island.

Deponia didn't go to waste when Daedalic entertainment ported the game to PlayStation 4. The game is funny, wonderful graphics and great characters. The only thing we miss is the use of the track pad.
