This is another good game from a small studio with great value for money (just 25 euros). It is very atmospheric, has good game-play and has a solid story line. It has some technical issues such as screen freezing when saving and has no brightness setting in the options menu. Graphics 8/10, Audio 9/10, Game play 8/10, Loading 8/10

The mood is great in this game.
    I loved it because :
    + graphics
    + sound & music
    + story.
The scientific & tech environment looks and sounds plausible.
I was never bored solving the puzzles because they are always new & different.
A very good game and a pleasant surprise.

Really interesting story and fantastic atmosphere. The timed puzzles can be insanely frustrating, not because of the puzzles themselves, but the frustrating checkpoint save system combined with tedious load times.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. If you play this one slow and really pay attention to everything you read, you will really enjoy the story this one is trying to tell. However, I think that the story is the only thing DUTM has going for it. The gameplay was a little slow. They introduce an awesome first view gameplay about an hour in, only to never do it again. The third person walking looked very awkward. Play this one if you want a story, not for the gameplay. Expand

I love space games. I thought for an Indie game, it's pretty amazing. Graphics are good, gameplay is mostly smooth. There are some occasions where control over the character is difficult and actions are clunky. You can tell it was made for PC and use of mouse and keyboard/gamepad would make it 20x easier. The loading screens take forever, and sometimes I have to aim to the right of something for it to register. Saving could be a bit of an issue. You can't hop in and out as you please. There are save points and unless you make it to one of them before logging off, when you log back on you'll start at the last checkpoint you did reach.

It's a short game that's fairly direct in objectives you need to accomplish. I succeeded at completing most tasks with little effort; except one glaring exception. I made it through launch, battery retrieval, enemies, tracks, and reactors first time. However, the last "mini-game" with the MPT has so much drag and reduction I haven't done it. I've tried repeatedly at this point. If I was able to use mouse and keyboard on PS4, I'd have done it first try like all the others. But with a single controller, I've done it 10x and it's just too much drag. I get games being made for PC and I love playing games there. However, greater consideration needs to be taken when adding it to a controller console. It doesn't function right, imo. I hope they fix an issue with the drag, otherwise I won't be finishing this game.

Horrible save system where if you're character dies it takes you all the way back to the games save in my case I was 3/4 of a way through a puzzle and two shocks my character dies and the save took me all the way back to the game save and had to start the puzzle from scratch again. In 2020 that kind of save system for me is unacceptable.

Enjoyable enough game, nice look, solid environmental puzzles BUT i could not finish the game. The final thing to end it I found frustratingly awkward, nigh on impossible. On a Steam thread the devs said there was a patch for this problem, maybe you want to try patching the PS4 version eh lads. I didn't play this for more than a couple of hours, so bear that in mind but also that it's reportedly a fairly short game anyway.

DUTM delivers a nice atmosphere and a great premise, but minimal and turtle-speed gameplay. This is a game for a specific audience. It was not for me at all but gamers who love an adventure with pace and puzzles could really enjoy this. I found the puzzles annoying and combined with the slow movement of zero-gravity, further exasperated by time constraints in the form of limited oxygen.

I was hoping for some beautiful and haunting lunar landscapes, and there was a glimmer of this at the start as you blast off from Earth, however the next phase of the game was where I gave up. Clambering through a monotone space station didn't cut it for me. The old familiar tropes of scrounging for door codes and powering up a console before getting to hit the button just makes me weary thinking about having to do this dated gameplay mechanics.

I'm a huge fan of indie developers, but sometimes what they lack in budget and manpower does hinder their games to the point of lowering their quality and appeal, which I think is the case here.

My issue was approaching this game and expecting something it was never going to be. If I view this as a "Gone To The Rapture" in space, then it makes more sense. Having said that, walking simulators have very limited appeal to me anyway. I like to have the option to speed things up when I'm bored or slow it down when I'm at a place I like. Deliver Us The Moon is a specific puzzler game that needs a specific audience which I am not a member of.

A very atmospheric and fun game. You will spend most of your time solving puzzles. Graphics are great for a small game and controls are a bit floaty. You might think that it makes sense because the story takes place on the moon but no even on earth the character moves as if he is on another planet with less gravity than earth. Other annoying issues are loading time is quite long and the autosave, when the game tries to autosave the game freezes for a few seconds . Other than that there are no major complaints the game is very interesting and fun and i recommend it for fans of the genre Expand

Absolutely one of those indie games that is a gem between many. Little bit of hiccups in saves but im sure they will smooth this out in updates. Love it!

So, I loved the atmosphere, the sound design, the story was pretty good and I liked the ending. Just one moment that got me yelling, when you have to go slowly between some electricity things, several times in a row, with no gravity. Maybe I'm just bad but it was frustrating haha. Only that moment tho, the rest of the game was good. Loved also the parts when you go outside, with the heavy silence of the moon. Expand

a decent story, the graphics and movement for the most part are crisp. however you can tell it's ported to the ps4, the jump interface often doesnt respond properly which will cause some frustration at times. where it fails, where ALL wired games seem to fail is the lack of manual saves. depending on where you are in a chapter you can easily lose an hour of play time do to infrequent autosaves.

Loved the game. Great story, geat graphics and sound. Good mechanics (beside the rover). One of the best indie sci-fi games I played so far. Definitely recommended

Deliver us the moon es un buen juego, sin duda este walking simulator de dejara con ganas de seguir indagando más a profundo a la historia y los secretos que se ocultan, los puzzles son buenos y no llegan a ser muy complicados, sin duda alguna una grata experiencia carece en ciertos aspectos técnicos, pero nada del otro mundo, un juego que sin más cualquiera debe de probar.

I played and finished the game. It was OK and let me tell you why it's not bothered me. Not every game should be a 10 out of 10 game, we need this kind of games to just enjoy the time. I guess the studio is small and I want to congratulate them. I hope you expand and create more content in the future.

This is an absolute gem of a game. If you want a space game with an interesting story this is your game. Sometimes the pace is a bit slow and the game doesn’t run on a stable 60 fps on the Ps4 but otherwise a very good experience. Good Music, Good Story, Good Game

With slightly better performance, Deliver Us The Moon could have been one of the best games of the year. As it stands, it’ll have to settle for being merely intriguing.

Deliver us the Moon is a fun, tension filled puzzle game with a great story and a few flaws. You can tell the developers did research to make this Moon puzzle as realistic as possible. This game contains little to no violence which makes it a great brain teasing game for mostly everyone. What could improve this game is a better menu system, more camera control, and perhaps more NPC engagement. I give this game an 85 out of 100 for the enthralling puzzles, compelling side stories, and realistic game play.
