    This game is a piece of art. The industry has become numb to cookie-cutter copy and paste games such as COD and Madden. "I don't understand the game so it has to be bad is the mindset." Think independently and give the game a shot. It is beautiful.

    This game is shockingly good. Honestly it should come at no surprise considering the studio and creator behind it. The attention to detail is phenominal. I feel like the PS4 pro can only scratch the surface and the game should run on ps5

    Now I usually do not write reviews, especially when I havent even finished the game. (which non of these reviews that are out now have btw) Anyhow, I just felt that I need to step into the rescue of this Masterpiece that a few self-entitled **** decided to throw dirt on just because it isnt cod or someother game that demands for instant gratification to be "fun". Is it different? YES, isNow I usually do not write reviews, especially when I havent even finished the game. Is it different? YES, is it for everybody? NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT. It's fine that people doesnt enjoy the game, totally understandable. But giving it a 0/10 is disrespectful, and nothing but that. Kojima and his team, tried something new, AND IT WORKS, so you'll either hate the game or love it. But even if you hate it, don't base your review on what you think it should have been, because no. This game wouldn't have worked as a movie, (as some have stated) No, they shouldn't have added fast travel etc. It would have ruin the whole experience of the game. This game is really enjoyable because it's hard. This game works BECAUSE its so frustrating sometimes. I've seen some people call this game "The Dark Souls of world traversal" And it truly is that.

    Now lets ignore these children and focus on the game. It's big, gorgeous and hard to traverse. For me, it's never boring, its hard. And that's really everything I'm gonna say. I really believe this game is something YOU need to experience for yourself without spoilers. If you need instant gratification to have fun, don't buy this. Play something else :,)
    But if you want to experience something truly new, uniqe and wonderful. Try it out. Compared to everything that has been released in a very long time, this truly is goldglimp of hope for this industry. We dont need the same thing over and over again, we need new and innovative ideas that work with the concept of gameplay. And Death Stranding does that really really good!

    Only reason that I'm not giving this a 10/10 is beacuse I havent finished it. But It probably is a 10/10. Cheers    … Expand

    This is a great game, it’s well made, the story grips you because you are constantly learning and understanding what this game is about. This is not for the casual gamer, you can’t half play and half play music or mess on your phone or chat with people because you need to give it you full attention or you will get bored instantly as you won’t understand what’s going on or how to doThis is a great game, it’s well made, the story grips you because you are constantly learning and understanding what this game is about. If you are expecting metal gear solid 6 then go look elsewhere, this a new game that really shows how creative Hideo Kojima is! I never write reviews because I agree with most that I read but I’ve never seen so many people wrong about a game because they were clearly expecting something else.

    TLDR;
    Great game, not metal gear solid 6, don’t buy if you can’t give the game your full attention.

    P.S Don’t give it a bad review just because it’s not the game you were expecting, that doesn’t make it a bad game.    … Expand

    It's a good game the story is amazing the gameplay may be not enjoyable for certain people but for me it's a unique experience and i enjoyed it

    Death Stranding is a game that is, and always will be polarising. The 0 reviews are justified, unhelpful, but justified. There is very little combat, long cutscenes, and almost the entire game revolves around making arduous somewhat monotonous journeys to deliver parcels. If that does not sound like your cup of tea, you will not like this game. If you are easily bored, you will not likeDeath Stranding is a game that is, and always will be polarising.     Безумно интересная история с огромным количеством метафор, на обдумывание которых есть спокойный геймплей. Мир в игре невероятно красивый. Огромное спасибо Kojima production за потрясающую игру!

    There's no other game like it, both good and bad. Whether you'll like it has a lot to do with if you just enjoy doing things and challenging yourself to do it. Honestly I give it a 10 but can see why it's divisive. For me, though, it's the game I've wanted for a while.

    This game is one of the most polarizing experiences of this generation, but looking at the user score critics here I can tell none of them have actually finished the entire game. This is Kojima's best work to date.

    The story is interesting and engaging, the gameplay is fun and relaxing, I really enjoyed the experience and was really excited to see each turn the story provided. It was great, especially the hades segments.

    This game is by no means the masterpiece we expected, however the game is solid with a heavy and intense story. I believe many negative reactions are from disappointment based on fans believing this was going to be similar to MGS, Kojimas Silent hills reborn or maybe a big "f*ck you" to Konami. Some may see this as only a walking simulator, courier simulator or a pretentious piece of art but it is more than that.     Шикарная игра с некой своей неповторимой затягивающей в себя атмосферой, очень обманчива скучная на первый взгляд, однако спустя некоторое время она приятно удивляет различными механиками, локациями, гаджетами. И конечно же всё сопровождается прекрасным умиротворяющим саундтреком, эстетичными пейзажами и философским сюжетом с актуальной проблематикой — люди разрозненны сегодня — это фактШикарная игра с некой своей неповторимой затягивающей в себя атмосферой, очень обманчива скучная на первый взгляд, однако спустя некоторое время она приятно удивляет различными механиками, локациями, гаджетами. И конечно же всё сопровождается прекрасным умиротворяющим саундтреком, эстетичными пейзажами и философским сюжетом с актуальной проблематикой — люди разрозненны сегодня — это факт и Кодзима показывает насколько это опасно, и более того — воплощает это в геймплее игры — очень необычно, учитывая что на сегодняшний день игр с по-истине проработанным сюжетом, персонажами, НЕ скомканными диалогами и катсценами вообще практически не выходит, а тут это еще приправлено и необычными ситуациями и метафорами. Из Death Stranding получился бы прекрасный психологический роман или фильм.… Expand

    Incredible story, very immersive and beautiful soundtrack. I don't know why have so many negative reviews but the game is amazing and without bugs. I also loved the simple gameplay and the characters. Perfect work Kojima

    Very Cinematic game, much slower pace, but overall enjoyable if your looking for something different. The voice acting is great, the graphics are good. Interesting but odd story, but overall enjoyable. Consider Death Stranding if you're looking for something different, out of the box.

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it. [Issue#299]

    This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
