    Hmmm...sorry Mr. Kojima this game is boring and story is not deep and engaging like Metal Gear Solid is my favorite games beacuse Snake ,pure history, character, long dialogs that matter. This game for the industry has nothing revolutionary about it. 0/10

    A boring video game. If you press and hold L + R throughout the game you will have no problems. You can escape from bosses so they don't represent a problem either. The world is empty, only the construction of the other players gives life to the scenarios but in turn removes all the elements of difficulty that it could have.     Kojima fan here.... This is the most boring game I played in my entire life. 8 hours in hoping it gets better, but it didnt. Pure trash. On ny way to the store to get something else.

    I think this is the game that finally killed the Kojima hype. Kojima had so much "hype" around him after he quit Konami, and he was proclaimed a hero by many people in the industry, but it turns out Konami may have had as much to do with making MGS would as Kojima did. When Kojima was left to his own devices, we got Death Stranding, an actual walking simulator with a story that tries to beI think this is the game that finally killed the Kojima hype.     It is less of a game and more of a mental chore. The janky driving mechanics and weight carrying system makes the game frustrating. To top it all off the sense of the grim and mysterious environment leads to nothing as the story seems half baked. Only thing going for it is the graphics and soundtrack.

    I played the original game on PS4. Easily one of the worst games I've ever played for 8th Generation consoles and among the worst I've played in general. The story is absolutely horrible and impossible to follow, a problem shared with Metal Gear Solid 2, another Kojima product I don't like.

    The gameplay is even worse and is easily the worst I've ever played on PS4. This game proves that    I played the original game on PS4.     When your mechanics hinge on something as mundane as walking, the most exciting part of your game is building a road, and you boast a melodramatic story of nonsensical characters you have Death Stranding and you have a boring game.

    Kojima is a complete hack, they were right in firing him. I bought the PS4 Pro bundle with Death Stranding thinking this was gonna be a masterpiece, what a disappointment! At least the PS4 pro looks good, but I wish I could remove the death stranding logo from the front part.

    This game is a complete waste of money. It has great graphics with a great cast but that's about it. You're essentially a mail man/courier, delivering random things to npcs you don't care about. I was highly anticipating this game especially since it was made by Hideo Kojima but it looks like he should just stick to Metal Gear Solid.

With plot being written like an angsty teens anime fanfiction with lots of plot holes and some political believes of Kojima himself such as totally original "Orange man bad" and characters with the least settle names that anyone could think of, and yes their names do hint their motives. Don't you love when the game treats you like an idiot by giving you away everything you need to know about it but still wants you think it's super complex and sh*t? Mama, Fragile, Dead Man... great names i'm really sure it's fitting... for training bots in a multiplayer game. Any interaction with the characters in a long run is pointless do to the fact we're given away everything we need to know about them at the very start. Gameplay? It's absolutely attriocious, it's basically sandbox game created by someone who never seen a sandbox game and only heard about it from person who hates sandbox games. The whole delivery thing could be an interesting as side mission to earn some extras and not the main theme of the gameplay, people despise that word but it's very accurate represantation of this game. Walking simulator with very little of danger in the game world, reused environment and completly empty world. Sure say it's post-apocaliptic world but than again presence of Monster Energy Drink being so relevant and unaffected literally breaks that illusion. Currently the game is to put it simply forgotten and dead. So much for game of the decade and all of that echo-chamber of worshipping Death Stranding and Kojima.… Expand

It's all very confusing, the need to hold buttons to confirm anything, a messy and unhelpful map, strange button configurations and very small characters (later improved) spoil all.

An unique experience, a wonderful combination of brilliant acting, a moving story and one of the best soundtracks that I've experienced in games. It took me 6 months to beat the game because there were times n which I just wanted to deliver stuff and enjoy the landscapes. Some of those times I was rewarded with a new song, making me feel like Kojima put so much effort to motivate players in every little part of that world. The loneliness plays its part, but the online system served as a remind that there were others trying to help, to improve and rebuild that world.
    Special thanks to Mr. Mikkelsen, he gave life to such a tormented character and his final scene holding the baby and whispering a lullaby made me cry for real.
    A definitive experience on how violence shapes our downfall and how our connections (friends, family) can save us from particular nightmares.

    Naprawde nudna gierka. Nie ma nic takiego co by Cie ciaglo do tej fabuly (ktora jest taka jakby jej nie było) gra miala jakis tam potencjal, ale szczerze gowno z tego wyszlo. Jedyne co mi sie podoba to stawianie mostow/generatorow itd. przez innych graczy dzieki czemu mozemy z tego korzystac.

    I don't know starting from when, the celebrity effect became a thing for games. I thought it was gonna be a super cool game with The Walking Dead character and an alien-like background. It turns out to be a super boring game I gave absolutely ZERO **** about. **** THIS GAME, ENOUGH SAID.

This game is polished, the gameplay makes a lot of sense.     I couldn't even finish the game for the big peace of garbage it is. I am impressed. Worst gameplay i have EVER seen. The way it is boring is revolutionary. The story doesn't make you want to know what is left for them to show. I watched the rest of story on youtube and even there i was thinking that i was losing my time. Tell me a worst way to spend your money and your time.

    The game sucks. The only good thing in this game is the music, the world is bad, you climb some mountains of destroyed rocks, no beauty, the port on the pc was completely ditched, the gameplay is boring, you just pull the load, EVERYTHING! The plot sucks!

And so many people tell me "after chapter 6 it gets good" but a game shouldnt take 2+ hours of gameplay to get to the "good parts". I honestly cant see myself finishing this game either.     The most boring game I’ve ever played. I’m actually pretty sad because I was really hyped for this game but it was just a chore to play. The story was good but that hardly matters if the gameplay was terrifically bad. It was basically just a delivery simulator with good cutscenes. This should’ve been a movie.

    Concepto de juego inexistente, es una película con horas de imagenes de vídeo in game con dosis de caminatas, dando lugar al juego más coñazo de la historia de los videojuegos.
    Kojima dedícate a hacer películas.

    Graficamente superbo ma con gameplay deludente molto lento, la trama anche se scritta molto bene impiega troppo tempo per fare spiegoni inutili. Con po' di accortezza si capisce subito dove si vuole andare a parare. Sconsigliato

    This is the most ridiculous game ever. I expected better from Kojima. There is more inane movie watching then game playing. What a waste of time. The character has some monumental mission to do and time is of the essence but you have to walk there? Seriously? The most action in the first two hours is you get to hold your breathe and take a shower. This is truly an asinine game.

    I'm about 15 hours in, and I will say that this is the only game I have said "trash game" among all the Ps4 games I have played.     I hate this game, I am annoyed by the constant stupid commercials of Hideo Kojima Productions and I have to wait a very long time for the game to load. The impression is that I installed the game not in order to play, but in order to watch **** commercials.

Very beautiful world, amazing graphics and wonderful scenario. Sound design and soundtracks on next level. Gameplay is very interesting exactly by the thing many players don't like: you have to manage your inventory well and carefully, you need to calculate your route and think your every step. Atmosphere drops you inside the world you're playing and you feel that fear when these "Things" appear around! You are teleported into brand new post apocalypse world which you haven't seen ever. You collect the story of the world piece by piece and you feel for every character in this game for they all are alive!
    Game contains so many easter eggs that make it even more interesting and beautiful. There is huge amount of secrets and side mission are also impressive. Finishing side missions never was so enjoyable and easy. Also the game was never so rewarding.
    But after all this game is not one that any person will like, it is oriented for only narrow type of people who will like it.    … Expand

    The game is about how a person is hung with boxes (very realistic - no) and walks around an empty world. Games like this shouldn't exist!

    I have a high tolerance for giving games a chance but I couldn't even bring myself to finish this game. Literally all you do is deliver packages. Why the hell do I want to do that in a video game. Boring as all hell.

    Don't think this game is just a walking simulator, there's vehicles and many option to complete your quest. The gameplay is quite fun honestly and the world is very beautiful and well made.

    The story though... I don't have a lot positive to say about it. Most element of the story feel made up to justify the gameplay and do not really fit together logically. They're in the middle of nowhere and do nothing but try to steal your package because "the evolve to do so, cause of the serotonin they get from delivering those pacakge" basically there just there to be in the way... I was left from 1/5 of the game onward with the immersion shattering feeling that this game universe could not exist and was made up for me to deliver stuff around. There's so many thing about this game that seem that have been put in there to look cool and mysterious but the basis of those thing are hollow and don't have a meaning or purpose.    … Expand

    I’ve taken **** that are more interesting and fun than the gameplay. The story is as per Kojima MO convoluted and makes no sense. Now I completely understand why he was fired from Konami, he’s a hack who wants to make **** movies and his games are now just as bad as his cut scenes. Avoid at all costs.

    I thought that it was a joke that this game is a delivery simulator. Turns out this game is boring and monotonous… the world is empty, and spending hours going from one point to another doesn’t feel like a thing that would appeal

It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
