I'm sorry but Death Stranding is a ultimately pointless and boring game to play. Yes the graphics look nice and it holds a couple of great moments but the gameplay itself leaves alot to be desired.

Boring and self-indulgent nonsense. Kojima believing his own hype. This the best they can do, a literal walking simulator? Pretends to be deep but is only pretentious twaddle. It's not a game, it a collection of cutscenes at most. Avoid.

I just finished it today after over 80 hours. It was awesome. Best game of the year, one of the best games of the decade! Truly a masterpiece. I'm so sad that some people could get into it. Well, it's a sing of our times that people have built walls even in their minds, which prevent them from understanding and appreciating such treasures like this one!

So I just finished the game and felt like I had to leave a review to counter a bit of the hate on here.
It took me about 49 hours to complete all the chapters, doing quite a number of side missions, but not nearly all of them.

And I just have to say that this has been one of the most unique game experiences I've had in a long time. And last time I felt so immersed in a game was last year with read dead. And contrary to what has been going around on the internet, I’ve had fun with the game from the moment I started it.
The gameplay is very strategic, deals with a lot of management and is downright addicting and thrilling. Having to move a **** ton of cargo through a challenging terrain, planning your route, planning the trip, dealing with all the obstacles and challenges along the way. Also the passing in which the map and upgrades are revealed and implemented is amazing, changing up the core gameplay with crazy bosses and other mini gameplay elements that we come to know from Kojima.
Also the online element is really cool and refreshing. Had so much fun seeing other peoples structures and signs, helping me out and making my travels easter.
The story is fun and interesting. It’s a bit mystical and has many fantasy elements. But it also deals with some more philosophical and more current subjects. Some that our friends from the US might take a bit too personal, especially coming from a non-american. And I feel like some journalists and internet media kinda showed how toxic they can be, when creators don’t show America in the fantastic light, leading the world and propagating how great of a country it is.
So I think a lot of the hate also comes from this. And the fact that they take what Kojima said about Americans liking shooters more, being taken too personal. And If you rate this game 0 because of that… Pretty pathetic I must say.

All and all, I feel like we had these sort of weird experiences a lot more in the PS2 and GameCube era. I guess gamers were a little different back then. And I don’t understand all the fuss. It’s a really, really good game. Sure, silly at times, maybe even a bit cringy. But that’s Ok. It’s unapologetically itself. And I’m pretty sure that this game will reveal itself to be a pretty big cult classic and all the downvotes in the world isn’t going to change that. Why? You might ask? Because, again, It’s really that good. You just need to give it time to breathe and don’t rush to finish it in under forty hours. And to top it all off: 1) No microtransactions 2) a completely new and super creative IP from great talents in gaming and film. 3) A story that ends and doesn’t build up to a shared universe!

I recommend this to anyone who likes strategy, the best item management since RE4, creative story, amazing environments and taking their time. Be patient and be open to what this game wants to give, and you’ll probably be as addicted and fascinated with this game as I am.

The addicting game play loop of gathering materials to construct various objects in the world (Bridges, Roads, Time Fall shelters, Recharge Stations), as well as delivering packages in good condition to get likes, stat boosts, and new items. At first the traversal mechanics can seem cumbersome, but after a while it becomes second nature and I grew to really appreciate how realistic and tactile it was. As you get further into the game and begin upgrading Sams stats and unlocking new ways of traversal it really opens up the possibilities and gives a real sand box-like experience. Vehicles are extremely fun to navigate with. I found it a fun challenge trying to climb steep cliffs with a motorcycle or truck so I could arrive with all my cargo, and the power skeletons are a godsend for maximizing the amount of gear you can travel with on foot. The acting is for the most part excellent all around. Mads Mickelson is a stand out, especially towards the end of the game. There are a few characters that come off odd, but they are relegated to side missions that aren't integral to the games story. The story is so intriguing and deep and it makes you want to get down to the bottom of what is going on in it's bizarre and stunning world. Sometimes the way it is fed to you can be a little on the nose or strange, but it didn't detract from the story it was trying to tell overall. There are so many memorable moments that impacted me on a deep emotional level. Game graphics need no comment, as they are easily the best looking graphics of the generation. Performance was extremely solid on my PS4 slim and I didn't encounter a single glitch or noticeable drop in frame rate. Character, enemy, and environment design is all top notch. Everything has had a painstaking amount of detail poured into it and it truly shows. Bosses are such a spectacle and can be quite challenging if you are unprepared to deal with them. Normal BT's are extremely nerve racking when you encounter them and have led to some truly intense and memorable moments. At the end of the day there is truly no game like Death Stranding. The best way I can describe it is an experience. When I completed it, it felt like I had been on an epic journey that I had put my blood, sweat, and tears into. Riding the highest highs and crushing lows right along with Sam. It's a game that can only be fully appreciated and understood by actually playing through it entirely. I truly believe that once the dust on controversy has settled, people will look back on Death Stranding as one of the best and most important pieces of entertainment media ever created. Up there with the likes of Inception and the Lord of the Rings. I will never forget my time with Death Stranding, and as I completed my journey I was sad that I will never be able to experience it for the first time again. For those who are on the fence about this game, please give it a try and go into it with an open mind. If you can actually make it to the end of the journey, there is no way you could call this anything less than a great game. For me, it is a masterpiece and sits atop the throne of my favorite games of all time. This is my honest review of the game and I give it my score not to combat the bad scores, but because it's just how I feel about the game. Expand

Death Stranding is a game not for everyone.

Ironically, a game that is all about connecting people and bringing them together, Death Stranding is the most divisive title of the decade. Being able to enjoy this game comes down to whether or not you're able to appreciate games as an art form or if you only play games for fun.

In Death Stranding you play as Sam, a package delivery guy snatched into the service of an organization trying to re-establish a nationwide network in post-apocalyptic America. You pick up delivery orders and traverse the distance between the cities - mostly on foot. If you feel like pulling a heavy load of cargo across long distances on challenging terrain is a drag, you would be correct. But make no mistake, this is by design. As mentioned earlier this game is all about making connections and building bridges - both literally and figuratively. Death Stranding continuously highlights how much harder things are to do on your own by creating a stark contrast between making deliveries to a new location for the very first time and returning to a place you already connected to the others. Bringing nodes online shares the area with other players, allowing you to use equipment, vehicles and structures they left behind by other Sams moving through. Using paths in common with others also clears the terrain from rocks and creates natural dirt paths. You can even co-operate with other players and build paved roads spanning great distances around and above otherwise dangerous areas.

Most of Death Stranding's gameplay mechanics have to do with cargo. Whether carrying things as the main gameplay loop is something you can enjoy or not is entirely up to your personal preference, but it's undeniably well designed. Sam has a limit to how much he can carry, both in weight and volume. The shape and weight of his cargo loadout affects his stability and movement speed. His ability to maintain his balance is affected by many things, like slopes, terrain and the sharpness of his turns. You have complete control over Sam, but he also has momentum. The only time I ever had to fight the controls was when I was trying to interact with the floating cargo carrier I was dragging behind me. The game also has combat features that should feel very familiar to Metal Gear Solid players, although with much less variety.

To keep this review spoiler free, I'm not going to discuss the story in much detail. The world of Death Stranding is strange and fascinating, with bits and pieces of the details fed to the player as Sam progresses across the continent. In typical Kojima fashion the story is both another strong point of the game and sometimes comes off a little preachy. The dialogue also misses a few beats.

    Positives:
+ the world and the characters are excellent
    + a truly unique game

    Negatives:
    - has pacing issues
    - it's not for everyone

The start of the game is the only thing not letting me give this a 10, the story telling world everything is great. If you enjoy Euro Truck Simulator or games where you deliver cargo you will enjoy this, if you are a hardcore action fan who wants every moment to be crazy this isn't for you. It's slow paced and rewarding for those who choose to enjoy something instead of dismissing a game after 2 hours of game play. You wouldn't watch a movie for 10 minutes and say it's the worst movie ever made, why would you do the same with a game? Full game will likely take 38-42 hours depending on your play style.

Pissed their vehicles kept breaking down and not knowing why they can’t find generators. If you try and rush through this game you’re gonna be sorely disappointed. You actually have to prep for most mission, yes they all do boil down into fetch quests, but traversing through the environments lends enough variation that it was hard for me to become bored. Working with other players to build structures to make travel easier was probably the most rewarding for me putting in materials to help build roads only to come back later and it was completely built was an awesome experience. It’s a game where if you got it day one everything you make will make it easier for people who play it later on which is the most innovative mechanic I’ve seen in any game this year. I’m only giving it a 9 out of ten cause it gives you the option to pee on stuff just not the bosses and that’s a missed opportunity if I’ve ever seen one. Expand

Death Stranding is a truly immersive experience that rewarded me greatly for committing to its strangely imagined, darkly emotional, yet constantly subversive, timely, and even funny, world. The gameplay mechanic satisfyingly complements the narrative in a way that I found amusingly realistic. The game moves at a slower pace, and this pace made the game more rewarding and immersive than nearly every game I've played recently. The opening hours are very cinematic heavy, and you will feel like your play is but a footnote for the first two. But those cinematics drew me in with their eerie mystery, and I appreciated how the gameplay matched their tone. I recommend keeping an open mind and letting yourself sink into Kojima's headtrip. You won't be disappointed. Death Stranding excels at exploring wide ranges of emotions with its often perilous and then often oddly idyllic scenarios: fear gives way to hope, disconnectedness is replaced with togetherness, frailty soon transforms into empowerment. You will spend time carefully navigating jaw-droppingly beautiful landscapes. The size of the world will weigh on you, and you will feel genuine relief and empowerment when you gain new ways of traversing environments and overcoming the threats you face. The negative reviews are clearly based on the opening two chapters, and I completely agree that players will do a lot of listening, watching, and walking for the first few hours. But I found these hours especially emotional and beautiful, and I was intrigued by how this game just doesn't feel like other games. I think the negative reviews overlook how integral the early game's slow pace and terrifying world are to the game's impressive narrative arc and the amazingly crafted moments that you experience when you later survive particularly harrowing situations. It is there--when a dark corner of the world throws a seemingly impossible challenge your way, and escaping that corner reveals a beautiful landscape with new sights, sounds, and genuine feelings of relief--that this game is such a massive success. Few games, if any, excel like Death Stranding does at delivering the truly significant emotional moments that I think make gaming such a special medium. If you are looking for something deeper, odder, more unique, and more beautiful than your typical gaming fodder, I heartily recommend Death Stranding. Expand

This game reminds me of employing strategies of moving/collecting junks (and the satisfaction that followed) in Fallout games. The element is there and I can't believe Kojima-san took this element into an addicting, fun game.

In death stranding though, you can decide where you want to do these fetch quests to get certain kinds of gagets and upgrades, which makes it alot lessless tedious. What this game has done right is an absolutely stunning environment, great world building and great characters. I can't even begin to say how fun it is, if your one to get lost in a game or in movies, you will definitely get lost in this world. If you thought that the initial trailers were very interesting and you enjoy when a a game that isn't afraid to have slow moments, and let you really get the feeling of being on a journey across hostile terrain, then this game is for you. Don't let negative reviews deter you if your on the fence. Also the shared world elements are major, unforseen positive you really feel like you and other players are working together. Also, every game element has a story reason, he doesn't just throw in say like fast travel with no explanation like most open world games Expand

It's slow and repetitive. There, got that out of the way. But if you appreciate slow and beautiful films or slow and beautiful books, you'll find something truly special in this game. I've described it to friends as Metal Gear Solid meets Euro Truck Simulator. It's not for everyone. That's okay. If it's for you, you'll love it.

It's the best game I ever played, you can see how much effort and souls from Hideo Kojima. Yes, the gaming mechanism is delivering packages, but why could this become a problem? if you ever play Euro Truck Sim2 and its multiplayer mode, you will know it's kinda a similar experience, when you drive for the whole night and see the Sunrise at Scandinavia.

This game is very specific and not for anyone. I'm not a fan of these slower games myself. But Death Strading surprised me ... a unique game, a unique style in which the player really understands their purpose in the game and what they have to overcome in the game. The game has its flaws but for its grandeur deserves a note 10. Kojima is to be congratulated.

Videojuego realmente recomendado.

Death Stranding: Millions of dollars, Hollywood actors, one of the greatest game writer/directors of all time, in-house development from the largest console-developer - everything combined should be a recipe for a truly great game, that not only pushes the limits of the PlayStation, but also the limits of games as we know them - at least that was my (and a lot of other peoples') hope when Kojima left Konami.

Does Death Stranding deliver? Unfortunately I have to answer that with a resounding NO.

Well what went wrong then, did they cut the budget? Hire B-grade actors? Did Sony do a bad job in development? No, no and no they most certainly didn't. With a truly star studded cast and breath-taking graphics and sound design, it is very clear that all these aspects came together beautifully. But what about the last one?

Hideo Kojima. The man behind Metal Gear, a series that has always been praised for it's game-play and storytelling. Finally he was set free from the shackles of Konami, free to write and design the game of his dreams. Kojima has always been one to favor the story, putting it front and center and building the action around it and now he could do that however he wanted, I'm afraid that once the strands (ha) Konami used to hold Kojima somewhat grounded broke, we all suffered for it, enter Death Stranding.

The world in Death Stranding is a post-apocalyptic affair, filled with evil ghosts and insane delivery men (I am not making this up). While the mystery and design of these things definitely have atmosphere and are very cool, it's just not enough to carry a person through delivering parcels for 40 hours, especially when you keep slipping and tripping over rocks.

And actually a whopping 90% of the game consists of this; Walking (or driving), avoiding big rocks while using your scanner to scan the terrain to find small rocks (not easily visible) that might make you trip. There are a bunch of different things that influence all this, how you stack your parcels, what gear you're wearing, your stamina, the weather etc. They really made it a _super_ deep "do I trip or no" system, but ultimately it is just that - ALL the action in the game is just that, do you trip or not? And while it actually manages to get your heart racing sometimes, those are way to few. The timers are never tight, the fragile cargo is never close to breaking, there's just no real sense of imminent danger.

The last 10% is Combat and building/crafting.

Combat is largely unnecessary and clunky, you're not able to quickly aim whatever weapon you have equipped and in the end, you often are just as well served by simply punching your enemies. If you do manage to kill someone, you're now faced with having to dispose of the body, since bodies blow up after a while, and guess how you dispose of the body? That's right, you have to carry the body to the nearest (which is NOT necessarily near you) incinerator just like you would a parcel.

The building system is pretty deep, with 3 levels for each building, each requiring you to deliver a non-trivial amount of materials in order for the building to upgrade, SOME buildings require you to deliver materials to them in order for them to just be built - IE. bridges and roads which are among the most useful things you can construct. All buildings degrade over time and will be entirely removed if they degrade enough, which the fast-forward rain most certainly will assist with.

Generally everything in the game feels like it's working against you, all your gear is constantly degrading and will degrade quite a bit faster in the fast-forward rain, rocks are your worst enemy with rivers being a close second, the power for your electric legs or your car or bike. The game is built to be played slowly, at least I hope it is, because the controls are just horribly set up for fast paced action.

The story is fine, but the pace is so incredibly slow, EVEN if you only do story-missions, there's just a LOT of filler missions that are inconsequential to the story. Even then a lot of the story is weird just for weirds sake.

In the end you have a very slow paced and often clunky post apocalyptic, sci-fi postman simulator with a weird and cool backstory, and that's just not for me.

TL;DR: IF you want to play this game on easy difficulty AND you enjoy slow, repetitive walks through a very beautiful, quiet landscape with the occasional action scene thrown in there, then you'll love this game, it's SLOW. If you're expecting a game with any kind of pace or action or anything that has a semblance of Metal Gear spirit, then look somewhere else, because - I promise you - this is just a sci-fi UPS simulator.

Episodes 1 and 2 are definitely teaching you how to play the game, it takes roughly 10 hours to get through the epilogue and first two episodes. People at the very least need to get to episode 3 in order for the game to fully open up. It is such a great game with an easy concept deliver packages from point A to point B and Sometimes to point C. This game is not for everyone and that doesn't make it not a Masterpiece. I am not a Kojima fan, I dont care for any of the metal gear solid games but for some reason I absolutely loved this game. Give it a try push through episodes 1 and 2 and I promise the game will change. The community for the game has done some amazing building with structures and given the game life. This is my first ever review, so bear with me.

It's hard to describe this game. At first, it's very confusing. Barely explained mechanics, very limited world building. You're thrown into the game like you know what the hell is going on. Then your sole purpose is to deliver stuff from point A to point B. That's not fun, is it? But the goal isn't to deliver, the goal is to find a path

It's hard to describe this game. At first, it's very confusing. Barely explained mechanics, very limited world building. You're thrown into the game like you know what the hell is going on. Then your sole purpose is to deliver stuff from point A to point B. That's not fun, is it?
But the goal isn't to deliver, the goal is to find a path through this beautiful barren post apocalyptic world. Will you climb a mountain to avoid a zone full of BTs, or will you go straight through them? Will you jump across a chasm and risk dying, or wall extra 300m to avoid it? The journey is the gameplay loop here, and it's quite challenging and evolving with constantly changing environment. You get a lot of tools that helps you traverse this world a little bit easier. You can deploy ladders, build bridges and shelters; you can equip yourself with exoskeletons, weapons, ride a bike or a truck.

And here's where the main draw in comes - the online aspect of the game. What you build or leave in this world behind may be picked up or used by other players. You will never see them, but the feeling when you get a message "Player X used your bridge" is very gratifying. So much so, that I find myself running around the world, placing constructions on convenient locations, hoping that someone will use them. It goes the other way too. When I try to cross a river and then I see a bridge placed by another player, I always leave a few likes. Yes, there is a like system. Instead of XP points you collect and give likes. It's simple and it's working, not much else to say about that.

I'm not going to talk about inventory. In my opinion it's very easy to navigate and it has some very convenient features that I find very useful, there are couple things I miss, like capacity of vehicles, but it's not something I can't work around.

What should definitely draw your attention is the story and the lore. Although you are basically thrown into it, and you will have a lot of questions about what is going on. The story periodically sprinkle bits and pieces of the overarching puzzle that will keep you interested in delivering more packages just so you can find out what it all means.

Cutscenes are amazing, people should stop using term voice acting and just say acting. Actors' performances made me feel for them, even though I had no idea what they're saying sometimes. To its own detriment, the perfect representation of the actors and especially the main protagonist somewhat broke my immersion. I didn't see Sam Bridges, I saw Norman Reedus. Occasional 4th wall breaking didn't help either.

It's also important to notice that there are no bugs, at least nothing major and that's admirable at these days.I would give this game a ten, but initial confusion, and a in my opinion lackluster explanation of some of the game mechanics make this game an 9/10.

If nothing else, this game is a unique experience in AAA category and we should appreciate innovation, even if for some this is an absolute failure.

I can see how tastes differ, we all like different things. Sure, but these scores make you wonder how many of these reviews have been bought.

Game mechanics are simply not good enough. And I don't mean from a technical point of view, the game is beautifully executed. But conceptually so many things are wrong. One can clearly see how common sense left the creative team at the start. And how the vision of a mere few (I assume (and hope) Kojima isn't the only person on duty) have been dogmatically implemented.

Games should be played (never thought I'd have to point this out), playing should be fun. Easy to learn and hopefully difficult to master. Controlling an interactive movie brings me back to the days of Myst and 7th guest for those old enough to remember. It wasn't fun then, it is not fun now.

In summary, such a shame this didn't work out. Hopefully Kojima's next game will be awesome like so many of his other work.

I’m gonna be honest I was really looking forward to this game pre E3 showings etc... I loved Hideo Kojima’s metal gear solid games and I knew the guy is a genius and all his games with Konami have been nothing short of spectacular!

I’m gonna be honest I was really looking forward to this game pre E3 showings etc... I loved Hideo Kojima’s metal gear solid games and I knew the guy is a genius and all his games with Konami have been nothing short of spectacular!

Hence I was expecting the same from his new studio. However I was really disappointed with the press release up front and average reviews! I almost said that I won’t buy it because I’ve got so many other brilliant games in my backlog. But then I thought to myself hang on a minute I did this all once before when Days Gone released and ended up not buying only to purchase it a few months later and to be blown away by such a great game!! Plus it’s a Kojima game how could I pass it up?

So glad I listened to my inner voice and purchased Death Stranding day 1! The game is a masterpiece and Kojima is still just as talented as he was with Konami. I don’t want to go into spoilers and details but I’m now 27hours through and on chapter 3 still and the game shows no signs of giving up, finishing or slowing down, actually I think I’m about half way through and I’ve loved every moment of it. There are very few games which make me shout OMG and make it difficult for my eyes to believe what they are seeing and experiencing that is exactly what this game has done multiple times, be it the opening act where your first walking down that mountain with that amazing view and the game starts playing “Don’t be so serious” or the first time where you lay your eyes upon Port Knot City from a distance and another song plays! It’s unbelievable I’m telling you and I wish I could experience those things again for the first time.

At first it can all look a bit complicated with so many menus and data at your disposal but a few hours in and it’s all very easy to control.

Any improvements? Yes of course, I wish there was more FMV videos like what Konami is known for in MGS. Sure there is a hologram image of the owner of every new base/safe house you reach in the game but it’s not that exciting. What would have been amazing is if the people were actually there at each of the bases and you met them in a proper fmv scene. That would have made meeting all the people at all the bases even more exciting and something to look forward to. Maybe there was budget constraints so they chose this route, anyway here’s to a sequel that comes soon, really hope they add this in it.

Death Stranding is not your standard game, to be honest you wouldn’t even be able to explain it to anyone for them to get excited over it, it’s an experience, an experience which once you embark on becomes highly addictive and one that you just can’t put down. It’s a very stress free, relaxing and fun to play especially when you come home from work and have maybe an hour to play and chill. The game is a masterpiece and I can’t wait to see where the epic adventure goes next! Buy it and play it without any doubts and you won’t regret it.

An easy 10/10 for me and one of the best games ive ever played!

A decent but ultimately flawed experience. Death Stranding was definitely a unique experience to say the least, I've never played anything like it.
The game's visuals are incredible, some of the best to date. I see many saying that the gameplay is just a "walking simulator" but it's really much more than that. Yes at times it can feel like a slog to get to where you're going but overall

Yes at times it can feel like a slog to get to where you're going but overall it was enjoyable. There's many different things at play to keep you entertained as you traverse the world.
There are a few things that keep me from giving this game a higher score. Firstly, the game's driving physics are pretty terrible. In 2019 there's really no excuse for how bad these driving mechanics are, especially from a game with such a high budget. Then there's the gunplay/combat in general, it just feels like an inferior MGSV. Another thing is the difficulty of the game or lack thereof. I played this game on hard mode and I only died maybe 3 times and I never failed any of my deliveries. The lack of challenge was definitely a detriment to this game. Lastly the characters, most of the cast is pretty forgettable. For a game that obviously wants you the player to get invested in it's story and world, it's pretty disappointing that the majority of the cast is subpar.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Death Stranding, above all, is polarizing. While I think most who experience the story in full would be quite moved by it, it is unlikely that those who cannot bear the monotonous gameplay will see it through. The themes of loneliness together with the importance of cooperation make a well balanced experience in guiding Sam through his grueling journey in this post apocalyptic America. This game, as with all of Kojima's games, serve as a message, or warning, as well as a dramatic cinematic piece. At times you will feel serenity as you reach the peak of a snowy mountain, at others you will be bored, and just wishing you're at your destination already while stumbling over jagged rocks. It is a very subjective experience in terms of whether you are willing to endure the hardships in front of you. Expand

I want to start sayng that I am MGS saga's fan.

This game horribly feels like metal gear survive. It really makes me understand what happened between Konami and Kojima and doing so, shifts my point of view to the realization that wasn't really all Konami fault. That game takes all the bad from mgs5 and makes it worse. People hated audio tapes for example, thinking that the game was lazy

    So what now?
You have a dude, delivering packages to holograms in an empty world, throwing bombs of stools and piss and sweat to monsters.
Even cutscenes are recicled and characters repeat the same phrases like a mantra every 30 seconds. all you get is waiting for the same animation/cutscene about going to the toilet etc again and again.
The game is boring lazy made and pretentious, I am sorry Kojima fan, I was like you before i bought this game, but i am not that stupid I don't buy in that rubbish. Actually i refund it. Money back.

Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it. This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
