Jun 1, 2016A download code for Riptide - really? My internet connection is pathetic so downloading this game is not an option for me so I paid for one game technically speaking. Not impressed deep silver because you should have included 2 discs instead of one if space was an issue. Lame lame lame.

Oct 31, 2021Bad port of a bad game. Just go and play dying light and don't waste your time in this piece of crap. Full of fetch quest, no story, Horrible Hit detection, bland gameplay. Broken controls

Jul 4, 2022A fairly ordinary graphic remaster of the rather unusual first-person zombie slasher, which includes all patches, DLC and additions, including Dead Island: Riptide. A small bonus is a classic-style arcade slasher, but it won't really excite ordinary fans of 3D action games.

Jun 21, 2016A competent collection which vastly improves the two Dead Island games included, adding a third game which can be fun in short bursts. Both Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide never looked better, with a slew of technical enhancements and solid performance which makes revisiting both titles quite enjoyable. Most the gameplay issues, however, haven't been addressed, so those who couldn't stand the original releases won't change their opinions with the remastered releases. Solid games, for sure, but not for everyone.
