    Pustil jsem se do jednoho restíku, co jsem měl na Paystation 4. Tím restíkem je hra Days Gone.
    Pár údajů pro začátek. Hru jsem dohrál na 80%. Úroveň postavy se mi zastavila na levelu 35. Časový údaj v příběhu ukazoval 847 dní poté (hra začíná 2 roky poté). No a co se týče reálného času, tak jsem hru hrál kolem 10 dní.
    Otevřeně neotevřený herní svět je obrovský. Dá se rozdělit na tři    Pustil jsem se do jednoho restíku, co jsem měl na Paystation 4. Tím restíkem je hra Days Gone.

    Otevřeně neotevřený herní svět je obrovský. Dá se rozdělit na tři samostatné zóny, které se otvírají postupně dle příběhu. Věřím, že milovníci motorek tenhle svět projezdili křížem krážem jenom z toho pocitu, že sedli na motorku a jen tak se kochali. Myslím si, že kdyby autoři do hry přidali rádio, tak by těch hodin tam nateklo mnohem víc. V rámci příběhu se totiž tohle stalo asi tuším třikrát. Kdy jste přejížděli velkou vzdálenost a tak vám soundtrack pustil nějakou pohodovou písničku a vy jste si jen užívali silnici pod sebou a přírodu, která vás míjela. Tyhle momenty byli opravdu super.
    Když už zmiňuju motorku, tak ta je jedním z klíčových aspektů hratelnosti a příběhu. Hrajeme totiž za bývalého týpka z motorkářského gangu a navíc když svět šel do sraček kvůli vypuknutí viru, který několik miliard lidí proměnil v zombíky, tak cestování na motorce je nejefektivnější forma transportu. Máme zde obchody, kde si můžeme motorku postupně vylepšovat nebo různě modifikovat. Také si člověk musí hlídat hladinu paliva, protože to ze začátku (než pořídíte lepší verze nádrže) velmi rychle ubývá. To je ale přesně ta nejzajímavější mechanika. Nejde se jen tak bezmyšlenkovitě přesouvat po světě. Musíte sledovat pumpy. Na různých lokalitách hledat kanystry. Kolikrát se mi stalo, že díky palivu jsem si docela slušně zavařil. Když točíte motor do vyšších otáček, tak o něj přijdete dřív, proto když jedete z kopce je lepší tam hodit neutrál a nebo motor jen tak „šolíchat“. Navíc při tankování ať už na pumpě nebo při používání kanystru jste stále zranitelní a může na vás kdokoliv skočit. Hlavní hrdina může motorku i jen tak tlačit, ale tam se dostat fakt nechcete.

    V rámci dalších mechanik zmíním příjemnou synergii hardweru a hry. PS4 ovladač má totiž malý repráček. A tak když jsem ve světě našel záznamy výzkumné organizace NERO, které doplňují příběh, kdy se všechno totálně podělalo, tak se vždycky spustili mě blíže právě přes tento repráček. Takže to zážitkově bylo jako bych opravdu sebral ten diktafon a poslouchal ho předs sebou. S tímto se váže jen drobná výtka a stalo se mi to jenom jednou, že se mi spustil tento záznam, do toho se spustil dialog přes vysílačku v rámci úkolu a ještě jsem chytil vysílání rádia jedné osady, které také doplňuje ten svět. No málem mi bouchla hlava a ještě jsem do toho bojoval se zmutovanými psy.

    Hlavní postava Deacon, je velmi dobře napsaná a to samé můžu říci o celkovém příběhu. Hra se pokoušela ukázat, co se s těmi lidmi prostě stane, když vypukne apokalypsa. Deacon prochází hodně těžkými situacemi (samozřejmě zůstává pořád tím rošťáckým klaďasem s tím jeho typickým úšklebkem a sarkastickým chováním) a všechno to působí věrohodně a uvěřitelně. Neskutečně to prodává i animace jeho obličeje. Jde tam vidět každá mimika a v těžkých situacích jde z jeho tváře vyčíst jeho utrpení a pocity. Vedlejší postavy takovou péči nedostali a jsou spíš v takové klasickém animačním standardu. Už jenom úvodní intro mě do toho světa a k postavě neskutečně přitáhlo. Nechci moc vyzrazovat, protože příběh je to hlavní v této hře, ale chci říci, že jsem s ním až na jeden moment neměl žádný problém. V tomto světě pobíhá šílený magorský kult R.I.P. alias Rippers, který dělá problémy. No a zakončení této části příběhu se stane strašně moc rychle, jako by autoři to chtěli co nejdříve vyřešit a pokračovat dál v hlavní dějové linii. To byla škola. Tam by se klidně další dvě hodiny hratelnosti vešli.

    Do teď jsem jenom chválil, tak musím i něco zkritizovat. Největší problém jsem měl s rozložením příběhu. Příklad. Vezmu úkol, proběhne příběhová animace. Dostanu možnost ovládat hrdinu a mám popoběhnout o 20m dál k motorce. Tam se mi spustí další animace, která mě posune někam dál. No a tohle se dělo strašně často. Proč tuhle část raději nevypustili. Díky tomu jsem pak měl takhle rozkouskovaný zážitek, kdy jsem si poslechl 10s povídání, sledoval nahrávání, popoběhl 5s k místu, nahrávání a pak získal zase kontrolu nad postavou. Nejvíc tomu ubližovalo právě to nahrávání. Někdy to bylo až moc často a moc dlouhé.    … Expand

    Beautiful game, I wish to see more games like this even if it's not related to zombies... Execution , gameplay story is is superb, it touches your chords... loved every minute of it, waiting eagerly for days gone 2.. Much love devs team keep up the superb work team

    Well that was 9 months of my life wasted....

    This game blows the others out of the water for the shear variety of game play, The large open world, the number of missions, the variety of weapons, the main story, the almost limitless number of solutions to completing a task, just makes you want to come back and try it again and again but using different tactics.

    And did I mention the hordes!!!! Even after playing the game 6 times and taking out well over 200 hordes, my palms start to sweat and my heart starts to beat faster every time i come to take on another horde!!!

    I would have given this game a 9 out of 10 if it wasn't for the many technical issues, this is one buggy game, but if you look past its flaws you will be rewarded with 30+ hours of great game play.    … Expand

I haven't seen many critics talk about Days Gone's progression and that is a shame, because it's one of the game's greatest strenghts. No matter what you do it always helps you upgrade your arsenal, bike or skills with a variety of missions, which are very well paced and presented at the right time for the most part. The game didn't do a good job keeping my interest at the beginning, but it thankfuly manages to pick up steam a little later, when you unlock a third camp. At first glance the story might seem clicheic and cheesy, which made it's heartfelt and endearing moments surprising (in a pleasant way, of course). It sure does have a generous ammount of cheese, don't get me wrong, but the good far outshines the bad and in the end it stuck with me more than I expected it to. My biggest gripes with the game are the lack of polish, which is imo inexcusable for a AAA title of this caliber, it's pacing issues (especially when the middle part doesn't present any problems of this kind), it being too long for it's own good, and the way the gameplay feels. The side content is ubisoft like, but surpisingly never gets monotonous thanks to the progression I've just praised above and the number of different activities offered to the player at any time. Days gone is worth your time and money, even if it might not seem to for the first 10ish hours of gameplay. I'm very excited to see where Sony Bend will take the franchise next.… Expand

    This game is a hidden gem and if you get through the first few hours your going to grow to love the characters and game. Its definetly in my top 10 games of all time and if your a fan of fallout, open world type games dont miss out on this.

    days gone......un muy buen juego con gráficos excelentes y una muy buena narrativa que se desarrolla conforme pasas la historia lleno de giros y momentos del pasado muy bien recreados. En su fecha de estreno todos saben que salio con muchos errores pero ahora es muy difícil encontrar uno, su gameplay es bueno no es perfecto mas en su técnica de disparo,hablemos ahora de la moto la moto esdays gone......un muy buen juego con gráficos excelentes y una muy buena narrativa que se desarrolla conforme pasas la historia lleno de giros y momentos del pasado muy bien recreados. En su fecha de estreno todos saben que salio con muchos errores pero ahora es muy difícil encontrar uno, su gameplay es bueno no es perfecto mas en su técnica de disparo,hablemos ahora de la moto la moto es como un compañero que te acompañara siempre y tienes que cuidarla como a un cachorro brindándole mejoras como pinturas agregándole calcomanias, mejorando el tubo de escape , su motor y ayudar a las comunidades con misiones secundarias que son muy buenas para pasar el rato y tener horas y horas de jugabilidad.     Game de muita qualidade e um dos melhores da geração, não vemos nada neste nível nos concorrentes, um jogo fantástico em tudo que te prende na jogatina do inicio ao fim do desenrolar da historia que e excelente. Espero pela continuação desta nova franquia.

    Vejo muitas notas negativas de quem nem jogou o games, isso é muita frustração com o seu pedaço de plástico favorito.

Luckily enough I played the game well after it's release and most of the bugs have been patched. Even though... there were still a number of bugs that just shouldn't be there in a game of this quality. It detracts from the overall awesomeness. I also imagine that a lotReally enjoyed this game!     This was a great game that kept me wanting more the whole time. The story was solid, the characters were good, the combat was fun, the skills and progress were well thought out. There were some weird design decisions that prevent this from getting a full 9 or 10 for me. For example, the progress of the story lines was not really displayed sequentially... The reporting of the experience was not clear, etc. Just a few things like that.

    At the end of the day if you like an open environment, post apocalyptic, zombie survival story... this game is AWESOME!    … Expand

    This game is really fun, I did not get it when it came out because of journalists bad ratings; but now after The Last of us part2 disappointment where the same people praised it as a masterpiece I know I will not listen to them anymore.

At its core, Days Gone is about hope and determination when everyone and everything is telling you to give up and move on, and that's what defines and drives Deacon St. John throughout a very good story that takes place in an open-world that is very diverse and fun to travel and engage in outside of its sub-par first act.

    The story starts out slow with choppy cutscenes that are too short to provide any substance. The Lisa storyline does a good job of defining Deacon, but the Boozer storyline does not go anywhere meaningful in a long and drawn out first act. This along with poor shooting mechanics (which doesn't make any sense since Deacon is ex-military) and having to refuel your bike so much made for an experience that for a below average experience at first......Then, the story really starts to pick up in the southern part of the map and this is when the game slowly starts to shine as upgrades to your bike and your character make the game much more bearable and the themes of the narrative start to come to light. Deacon becomes much more likable throughout the game and the strong supporting cast does an outstanding job fleshing out his character.

    There were some narrative failures such as the ending of the Ripper storyline which could've been so much more interesting as a conflict comes up is solved almost immediately and doesn't matter for the rest of the game, but overall everything else contributed to the narrative and Deacon's journey.

    The best aspect of this game is the world. The dynamic weather system along with how the freakers act depending on time of day and the current weather lead to unique gameplay scenarios unlike any other open world game. This world will really come for you and it was blast to take it on! The story benefited from this as it did a great job utilizing the world to tell its story.

    Overall, the game starts slow and stagnant but gets better as Deacon character develops. Its a shame that the gaming media set out to crucify this game. Although its not a groundbreaking narrative, its a very memorable experience with a fun and dangerous open world and a very likable main character whose journey is very inspirational.    … Expand

They’ve also resisted the lure of trends: there’s no multiplayer, no lootboxes, no “game as a service” plans – just a very solid (and finite) singleplayer experience.     At the beginning of the game you’ll feel like you've already played this game... then it will let you go for a while only to return with reinforcements (and lots of bugs). However, Days Gone has a couple of pleasant moments, that can't be denied. [Issue#295]

    I expect and hope for a sequel. Just know that going into this game that there is a lot of tedious nonsense to pad out a really good game to make it feel more worth every dollar, much to its detriment. I want to give this game a better score because the best moments are so good, but the large portion of this game is so bloody tiring that I just can’t.
