    Awesome game! I can tell sony rushed this dev team and it makes itself known with some bugs here and there. It ends up giving a fun awesome, probably the best zombie game ever made a bad name. It's on sony for rushing a diamond being made. 71 lol Meta get with the program looks like you need better Critics.

    Well-designed in graphics and gameplay game. It has both stealth and action and a story. The game captivates with its originality, character leveling, open world and hordes of zombies. This is a truly original solution in the universes of zombie games. there are many versions of difficulty in the game, which is an additional plus.     One of my favorite games that I have ever played. I was gonna skip it to be honest after seeing the reviews, but I am glad I gave it a try. Hope they make a sequel.

    FANTASTIC! Days Gone if truly an experience like no other. I have never had this much fun. Great story, amazing characters, especially Deacon, great voice acting, gorgeous open world and a bad-ass motorcycle. What more can you ask for. Oh, did I mention the Hordes! Oh man! The feeling of being chased by 500 freakers,... what a RUSH! Mowing down zombies with a wide variety of weapons,FANTASTIC! Days Gone if truly an experience like no other.     Amazing game, thoroughly enjoyed it, and what and epic story. Great acting, engaging side quests, lots of suspense, and hunting hoards is a truly rewarding exercise. A must play on PS4 or PS5.

    Days Gone has a really slow start and it's not trying to run after the player like other games. It's prologue ends after you meet Obrian - then it gets you in. Other games get you boring as long as you play them, but not this one - more you play more you enjoy it. Now I'm in love with days gone.     I love this game. I played this game on the PS4, do I can’t vouch for any on its issues on the PC, but I didn’t encounter any major issues when I played it. It was pretty much what I expected going into it, with a good story that kept you wanting to find out more with the completion of each mission. I also liked the variety of enemies(human, animal, and freaker). It’s annoying whenI love this game. I played this game on the PS4, do I can’t vouch for any on its issues on the PC, but I didn’t encounter any major issues when I played it. It was pretty much what I expected going into it, with a good story that kept you wanting to find out more with the completion of each mission. Days Gone is an absolute masterpiece, of course this review comes 4 years after the release and after 99.8% of issues were fixed BUT.... still, it's one of the best games out there, the story is immersive, deep and it offers you a background of what happen piece by piece, it does not spam you with 100 mini quests after you are given control and you do not have 50 things to do all at one, you can take your time, explore, the pace of the game is how you want it to be, play through all main missions all at once or take your time, explore, find new things, clear out enemies, you decide how you want to play it.
    The mechanics of the game are polished (again, reviewing after 4 years of fixing) but there was not a single time through my 60+ hours of gameplay when I felt cheated by the content, no microtransactions, no add-ons, no skins for your bike for 4.99$, you get what you paid! A full game where everything is unlockable in the game not by spending more money on top of what you already paid for! The first time I've played it, after 2 hours it felt like 10 minutes, I couldn't get enough, it's so satisfying driving around, kill hordes, ambush camps damn.... even being ambushed, knocked out and have to escape the kidnappers is fun, it's a breath of fresh air where you are not constantly bugged to buy this, pre-order that, 80% discount for an extension at only 29.99$... this game represents what a game should be, how a game should be and to be honest, a sequel is very much deserved. The story ends with a cliffhanger .... obviously the story is not finished because I want to know what will happen next after [SPOILER ALERT] O'Brian jumps on the NERO helicopter, too bad SONY will not approve a sequel to this gem, obviously they are mad because they couldn't milk more money as there are any things to buy in-game but man what a journey this game was, I recommend playing it and give it a chance because it deserves one!    … Expand

    Is simply logic the game is outstanding and beautiful the history really touched my heart.
    PD if your motorcycle doesn't have gas your lost. Never in a game take care of one thing so simple like the gas in the majority of the games the gas is free and ilimited but in days gone is the most important thing. I love the simple details like that. 10 for days gone and praying for a days gone 2.

    Days Gone is a masterpiece!!! 10/10 I fell in love with this game and want a sequel, we all want it!
    A story for fans of post-apocalyptic future scenarios. Tightens, you start to live in the game. Advice for those who haven't played, don't rush through the game quickly, enjoy every scene, watch the dialogue to the end, it's worth it.

    Literally created an account so that I could rate this game because it deserves way more praise than it initially received. One of my favorite open world games ever. Sure some of the writing can be a little cheesy at times, but it still makes you fall in love with the characters and want to dive into the story. Bend Studio thank you, and Sony WE WANT A SEQUEL!

    you actually made this game. Not making Days Gone 2 would be biggest mistake in entertainment history ever. Nothing else is even comparable.

    Sony is overall amazing company and i have huge respect for it, especially in recent years when you decided to bring your games to PC and by the way, you are doing it better than lots of other companies. You don't use Denuvo, your games always work and if they have bugs or technical problems, you make sure to fix them.

    But also, please understand that Horizon 2 was very mid game, i mean, is anyone even playing it anymore? Does anyone even care? Nobody is even talking about that game anymore. Games should be made, so people keep playing them, not for them to collect dust on shelves, just for some fanboys to say that they have the sequel too, even tho they never play it. God of War 2 was better, but let's face it, also mid. At the end of the day, it was pretty much same thing all over again as the first game. I'm not hating, but it wasn't anything phenomenal. So i'm asking seriously, what's next?

    Your only guaranteed hit is right now Spider-Man 2. This one will sell easy 20 million+. But other than that, you have nothing. I mean, you just keep making Horizon and God of War sequels endlessly? Bruh. Thanks to Days Gone PC release, there are so many new fans who want sequel to that game. This game got so much deserved respect after the PC release.

    So why Days Gone? you might ask. What is so special about this game? Well let me tell you.
    Days Gone has likable main character, if you don't like him, that's your personal issue and has nothing to do with him. Graphically, days gone is phenomenal, i could drive around the map for hours and enjoy these fantastic weather effects. ONLY game that does it equally good, is Red Dead Redemption 2.
    Now, bike mechanics and upgrading. I know some people hated it (also personal issue btw), but i love that system. Planning out the routes, before you start driving, making sure you have enough gas in your bike. Taking gas from actual gas stations (first game to ever do that) is amazing. This is exactly what survival game needs. I'm not saying every game needs stuff like that, i'm fine that i can drive endlessly in GTA, but in Days Gone, it's cool. Story, while i agree it keeps going for too long, is actually solid. It's not bad. All the mistakes could be fixed in sequel anyway. Map is very well designed, all the houses and buildings that you can explore, broken bridges, that small city area and so on. Everything has this perfect post-apocalyptic feeling. Hordes is amazing addition to this game and there's so much you could do with that in the sequel. Anyone who says that Days Gone is just another generic zombie game, has no idea what he/she is talking about. It's the BEST open-world zombie game ever made. Of course there could be argument, that Days Gone simply isn't the most mainstream game ever made, but in my opinion it's popular enough. Not everything needs to be Spider-Man. Even Alan Wake (huge fan btw) isn't as popular as Days Gone and even that game is getting a sequel.

    What could/should you do with the sequel?
    You could make it optional co-op, make both Sarah and Deacon playable in co-op. Make them go into big city to explore what's left of humanity, make them find out what has happened with rest of the world. Make them meet more survivors. Extend bike mechanics to boats, so you have to make sure you have enough gas canisters with you, before you go to sea. There could be mutated sharks and other sea creatures. Expand swimming/diving and so on...

    There is no other AAA open-world Zombie/survival game like Days Gone. NONE. This is the only game. Dying Light was decent game, but it's not even the same level, Days Gone is so much deeper and more complex. Dying Light 2 was awful. And if you really don't care about that game, just sell the rights to someone else, so someone else can make this masterpiece of a sequel. Sequel that fans actually want and are actually asking for.     la verdad es un juego que me he divertido mucho, demasiado infravalorado ojalá hagan una secuela y mejoren cosas anteriores del juego, porque el juego no es ni mucho menos perfecto pero lo que no se merece es tantas y tantas críticas que se llevó, porque es muy buen juego. De los errores se aprende y espero que algún día salga la secuela con todas las mejoras y la gente, periódicos etc...la verdad es un juego que me he divertido mucho, demasiado infravalorado ojalá hagan una secuela y mejoren cosas anteriores del juego, porque el juego no es ni mucho menos perfecto pero lo que no se merece es tantas y tantas críticas que se llevó, porque es muy buen juego.     Days Gone is a great game, probably the best zombie apokalypse on Ps4. The open world of Oregon is beautiful, the graphics are amazing, the story is good and entertaining. On Ps5 it even looks better. Give it a try if you haven't graped it yet.

    Very special and unique title. Can't understand the "bad" rating. Graphics look phenomenal even on basic PS4. Performance became very stable. Gameplay is just perfect. The story doesn't set new standards, but convinces with believable characters, well-written dialogues and one or the other "wow moment". Unreserved purchase recommendation

    Masterpiece! This is definitely the best open world ''zombie'' game ever made! Also, this is one of the best stories (very emotional) in game history! Amazing open world, apocalyptic feeling, great characters, good gameplay, fantastic graphics and a lot more. For me its 10/10, and also hoping the one day we will see a sequel for Days Gone because this game definitely deserves it!

You can also use that to your advantage in order to distract other scavengers while you make an escape. The story is engaging and the characters you meet are very well developed throughout the game.     Absolut unterschätztes Game. Ich hasse Open world Games. Ich mag kein GTA 5 oder etwas in die Richtung... Aber ich liebe dieses Spiel!!! Mein Spiel des Jahres 2021. Sony: was ist los??     I **** loved it. Don't know why the reviews were so bad, we as gamers seem to have become so damn picky. This game's story is great, the gameplay is fun, missions are creative and the environment very rich and beautiful. I don't need more :)

This game is a masterpiece up there with God Of War, Red Dead 2 and Horizon in terms of RPG's. I have ADHD and can lose interest in games very quickly but this had me gripped from start to finish and is the first game in a long timeWHAT A GAME! The game has so much depth to it, it's a slow burner so hang in there for the first few hours and it will be worth it I promise. The only disappointing thing is the 'normal' mode became a little too easy in late game and I didn't find it challenging so I would perhaps recommend playing on the hard setting.

    One of the best open world games I’ve ever played and FINALLY a game with a male main character. Gaming has become all about female main characters and there’s no variety anymore. Days Gone is so good. Amazing graphics, brutal combat, great bike traversal, very good storytelling, and most importantly, best take on zombies I’ve ever seen. Never seen anything like it.

    The most underrated game I have ever encountered with. this game is beautiful, plays amazing on the PS5 with locked 60fps, great story, great characters, bike rides in post apocalyptical Oregon are a blast, gameplay is awesome and one of the few games I have platinumed on the PS5. hope we'll get a sequel sometime. 10/10

    J’ai joué au jeu sur sa version ps5 améliorer et y'a rien à dire c’est pas dégueulasse du tout, mais en réalité ce qui fait le charme du jeu c’est son atmosphère hors du commun. Il y a comme quelque chose de pesant du début à la fin sans arrêt.
    C’est peut-être bizarre ce que je vais dire mais pour moi le jeu est très similaire à death stranding sur beaucoup d’aspects, ou plutôt l’inverse, mais j’ai fait days gone après death stranding

    Ne passons pas par quatre chemins, ce qui m’a directement frappé c’est à quel point on ne joue pas Deacon, on devient Deacon. Je ne saurai pas réellement dire pourquoi ni comment, on se projette complètement dans le personnage, on le comprend, on ressent sa solitude et ont la vie avec lui, ou plutôt avec nous-mêmes.
    On se retrouve lâché au beau milieu de nulle part avec une seule idée en tête : retrouver notre bien-aimé dans ce monde envahi de zombies. Tout ne tourne qu’autour de ça et a raison, si la planète sur laquelle vous vivez se retrouve envahie de mort-vivant ne chercheriez-vous pas uniquement à retrouver la personne que vous aimez le plus au monde ?
    On ressent vraiment ça chez Deacon ça va au-delà d’un simple personnage de jeu vidéo, à vrai dire je ne sais même pas si c’est volontaire de la part des développeurs tellement c’est bien fait, ses attitudes, sa façon d’être et de se comporter même au-delà des interactions avec le scénario. Enfin bref voilà pour le protagoniste, réussi à la perfection 10/10

    Les autres personnages sont tout aussi réussis au final, il y a vraiment une cohésion parfaite des personnages dans leur monde. Tout est cohérent, c’est certainement le jeu de zombie le plus vraisemblable, on pourrait croire que ça se passerait comme ça dans un monde infesté de zombies, ce qui est assez fort en vrai puisque souvent les jeux vraisemblables se font rattraper par l’ennui et le manque de fantaisie

    Voilà pour les personnages, le scénario est tout aussi bien narré. L’évolution des personnages et de leurs affinités est plus que cohérent, il est instinctif, l’amitié, la trahison, l'amour sont des notions qui se mélangent et perde de leur sens dans une société pareil. Je ne vais pas entrer plus dans les détails parce que je pense que c’est absolument quelque chose à vivre, alors jouez au jeu !
    Le gameplay est très bon, suffisant, les actions et le maniement des armes et des véhicules sont agréables et plaisantes. Et bien sûr, c'est un plaisir de dégommer du zombie, mais pas trop simple, on se passerait bien de s’attirer les foudres d’une horde. Je ne peux que recommander ce jeu, si je ne pouvais qu’en conseiller qu’un, ce serait celui-ci

    a really nice game. there were such games! great horror/drama/zombie. a really well done heartbreaking story. the only flaw is that in the game world (which is really big), it would have been nice to see "something" more. otherwise, for me it is the best game of the genre. highly recommended

    Shis is a pretty good game; my really favorite open world game to be honest. Love how they design the story line so much good. Everything just matches to others at the end of the game, and how my time spent at side quests just make me a pretty good ending. hopefully there will be season 2 when Deek face with tougher enemies.

About the world of Days Gone I must say 10/10. The map is HUGE, there are many different areas and everyone feels new and existing. Unlike GTA, you can enter any building, searching for supplies. About the mechanics in Days Gone, I must say that the shooting is very well made and the stealth is cool. It's like in the other popular games. In my opinion the best mechanic in the game is the bike. It feels so real and fun. At overall I give the mechanics 8.5, 9/10. About the NPCs in the game, they aren't so intelligent. I can't say that in other games the npcs feel very realistic, but in Days Gone they look dumper, because their range of sight is like one meter in front of them. It feels like they don't have side vision and sometimes in battles they are hiding in places where I can shoot them even blinded. The stupid thing about them is that they don't change the tacktics when it isn't good, and when somebody of their group dies they don't have the right emotions. For me this was the worst part of the game and I give it 6/10. About the story I can say that it isn't some very emotional masterpiece, but it is one pretty love story. The best part about it was that the hope Deacon will find Dara, was graduating higher and lower and that made the srory unpredictable which, for me, is the most important thing about one story. I agree with the critics that sometimes missions are very repetitive. For me it isn't so much about the same task you need to do, but for the level design of the place you need to do it. For example you get several bounty hunter jobs. If every job was connected with something different like new places, with new mechanics to use and different tacktics, the repetitive goal of the jobs wouldn't be a problem. Yes every cam is placed in different place, but it it's like something is repeating. Like the same rocks you need to climb, like the same barriers you need to crouch behind. It would be better if like in The Last Of Us 2, you can crouch under vehicle, you face different enemies not only on outlook, but on skills. It would be cool if someones try to stealth kill you, not every time do it the savage way. About the gameplay it is very fun, but it feels like it isn't so much surviving. It would be cool if you need to drink, if you can swim, if you need to eat the meat from animals and if the game was made in a way, you have to explore the world more careful for dangers. Like that the feeling would be more survival. And about the hunting, the idea is good, but there are several bad things about it. First of all the hunting system is very simple which makes the hunting very unattractive. The animals in this game act very stupid. For example when deer sees Deacon it goes in front of his bike or just running in circle around him instead fastly hide in the forest. The wolves are also stupid because they get you of the bike but when they are close to you, the wolves just go around you so Deacon can taking damage on them and they don't do andything for these several seconds. After that the take one bite and the same thing repeats. So for me the gameplay is around 7.5/8 because of the stupid NPCs and animals and the bad hunting system which could be a great experience if it was made better. So my overall experience with Days Gone is around 7, 8.5/10. Yes it isn't a perfect game and that is because of the not very big team of Bend Studio, but it is one very funny experience and if you look the good things about it, you will find them in a big amount te through the game. For a small studio like this, a huge game with giant map and 50 hours story, this is enormous step. I think there should be definitely sequel of Day Gone, firstly because the story isn't ended, secondly because I think with the experience and the materials, 3d models, the map Bend Studio have, they will make the sequel faster, with mote quality and I am sure that they will try to remove all the weak sides of this game. So it is surprising that they even made the game and if we give it a second chance it will surprise us good. I give it scote of 10, because I believe in this studio and I know that this franchise is able to even beat the last of us. Lately I see that this game has more and more good reviews just because more people realise that this ge takes time to get to your heart and not everything should be love from the first sight.… Expand

    - It's a shame that after 6 years of development they couldn't add more faces. Every rescued person has the same 2 faces. Also, the perks that you can add aren't that exciting to work toward getting. Personally, it would have been great to add more "rpg" elements. Oh the glitches! There are a ton! Hopefully they will get fixed through updates.

    In the end, I don't see why some critics are saying it's a "generic zombie story." Every story about zombies is going to be similar in some way. The narrative around solving the Horde problem, while developing the characters involved is what hooked me.

    I'm am absolutely loving my time with this game. I have not beaten it yet because i'm taking it slowly. I've unlocked only about half the map at this point. The world they have created is a joy.
    I live in the Pacific Northwest and It really does feel like home. The motorcycle is a wonder touch to the open world game play. Are there bugs? oh my yes.     This game was made by just 50 people at Bend Studios. Game has bugs, surely. No wonder cuz it was made by small amount of people. But game is decent really. Also, Bend ironed out bugs via patches pretty quickly. Hordes are awesome. Driving bike is a joy. Thumbs up!

    Great story, takes a while to get going but well worth the wait. Few frame rate issues while riding the bike. HDR is simply amazing. Love the open world. For me Days gone ranks right up there with rdrd2 & the last of us.

    This is TWD the videogame or more precisely, This is THD videogame if zombies in TWD was scary and dangerous. Love the sandbox feeling and the enviroment, which is equally beautiful and scary. Never seen a game with hordes of zombies, and they are truly scary.
    Voice acting, graphics and sound is great. Does sometimes have small gameplay issues, but nothing much.     This is Mad Max vehicle mechanics added to The Last of Us stealth and crafting mechanics. There’s nothing here not to love. Reviewers were butthurt over SJW BS and others complained it’s too long. When have you ever heard of a game getting dinged for being long? Reviewers were going out of their way to hate on this game and it was obvious.

    Bend Studio made a great game with a rich, believable and captivating story. They’ve also resisted the lure of trends: there’s no multiplayer, no lootboxes, no “game as a service” plans – just a very solid (and finite) singleplayer experience.     At the beginning of the game you’ll feel like you've already played this game... then it will let you go for a while only to return with reinforcements (and lots of bugs). However, Days Gone has a couple of pleasant moments, that can't be denied. [Issue#295]

    I expect and hope for a sequel. Just know that going into this game that there is a lot of tedious nonsense to pad out a really good game to make it feel more worth every dollar, much to its detriment. I want to give this game a better score because the best moments are so good, but the large portion of this game is so bloody tiring that I just can’t.
