    I had been avoiding this game since this was released based on its massive negative reviews. Huge mistake. Actually, the game is excellent. Very good gameplay and story. IMO, It is better than Horizon Zero Down, which is an acclaimed game.

    Меня очень порадовал сюжет, уж очень он интересен по крайней мере для меня. Герои запоминающиеся и интересные. Некоторые сюжетные развилки удивляли настолько,что я сидел с открытым ртом и офигевал. Стрельба на уровне, оружие хорошо чувствуется и создается ощущение что играешь в ААА шутер. Сурвайвал элементы порадовали. Крафт интересный и    Игра очень понравилась, всем рекомендую!!

    It likes a mixed of Red Dead Redemption and Far Cry series, I don't understand why the critic gave it such a low score. Beautiful graphics, smooth cutscenes, excellent plots, these elements give players a full sense of immersion.

    Guys don't even read critics reviews this game is just great. Interesting story with likeable characters, great music, good graphic with nice effects. Gameplay is a blast. I run into few bugs, nothing major and i know that some of the side tasks might be little bit repetative but with fun gameplay like that, they dont feel like a chore.     Para mim, um dos melhores jogos que eu ja joguei em toda a minha vida. História incrível, personagens carismaticos e unicos, uma gameplay descente e MUITO zumbi

    É logico que ele tem seus problemas, mas o jogo é incrivelmente divertido e emocionante.

    Recomendo demais as pessoas jogarem

    Amazing world, good voice acting. I instantly started the game on Hard II difficulty and it really feels like you are a true survivor. I like the characters and the story is so much fun. I haven’t encountered any technical issues yet, so I guess most of them are fixed by patches. Definitely deserver a higher rating.

    When Days Gone came out I didn't have the money to buy it. For a year I usually thought about the game and how much i wanted to play it. About a year after it's release i decided to buy it and I instantly fell in love with it's story, characters and the world. I'm more of a casual gamer and i like to just sit down and enjoy some game once a few days. But I couldn't stop playing Days Gone.When Days Gone came out I didn't have the money to buy it.     Days Gone is a great step in the right direction for open world games, with a fantastic storyline to bring it all together. I would highly recommend playing on a harder difficulty to get the most out of the experience.

    In the very early days this game got some rough reviews, however they don't reflect the current state of the game. There have been a number of updates and extra content added with the challenges. With these updates it has now become an amazing single player experience.    … Expand

    This game is such diamond. If you enjoyed Far Cry series, this openworld masterpiece will drag you in. Brillian story, great gameplay, good music, graphics.. Killing 200 horde of zombies, noice. Do not play on easy, go with hard. If you can, play on PS5 with 60fps. Ps4 is fun, but graphics and FPS are not good

    If you can fall in love with a game this is the game. I loved every second of the story and every second of the game. I can not wait for part 2. The story is amazing and resonates with the times we live and the characters are amazing. I liked all the good and the bads. Amazing game

    Anyone who has actually played this game agrees how incredible it actually is. The horde is terrifying ! Some of the best gaming moments I’ve ever had in my life. I desperately want a sequel !

    This is a masterpiece of storytelling, open world design, enjoyable and diverse gameplay and stunning graphics. It got a bit buggy for me a couple of times, but hard resets seemed to fix the issues. This game also showcases PS5 capabilities better than any other game I have on the PS5 so far too.

    I can't believe how negatively reviewed this game was at launch. It might not match up to other titans in the open world realm like GTAV or the Witcher, but how many games do? I played through the entire game and have to say it was a blast. The horde element the end game is a lot of fun and the story is quite good.

    I found most of the fundamental mechanics about the game to be pretty good from story, action, missions, and the bike element but when put all together makes for a fun and very solid gaming experience. If you like open world games and have already played through all of the greats, this is a solid, often overlooked, game to pickup and lose 40 or so hours in.

    Overall I'd give it a solid 8.5 - 9. Putting 10 bc it's ridiculously underrated and the critics really missed the mark on it.    … Expand

    People need to play this game. its fantastic. Do not believe reviewers because do not play, they only evaluate. As of 2020, most (if not all) of the glitches and technical issues are fixed. So, its a blast to play such a meaningful and long game.

    Do yourself a favour and play it!

I do admit it started super slow with all the pacing issues of the game and frame rate issues. But trust me, hold on just for 15-20 hours and you'll understand the charm of the game and what it represents. Is it a perfect game? No. However,One of the best games I have ever played on the PS4.     My Platinum trophy for the game popped up, and thank i didn't played the game when it first came out.
    I had a solid experience, for times i could not let the joystick down... i needed to upgrade my character and bike so next time i'll get to play may be i could finally defeat the horde i was having troubles with.

    I'd loved this game and hope a second one.

    To me it's a 10.

    Days Gone had me hooked within the first hour of play, the story is fantastic and interesting. The environment and graphics are great. If you're a zombie fan this game is a MUST. The open world is full of things to do and there is always something happening. The horde mechanics are awesome and your first encounter with one will more than likely get your heart racing.
    There are some fantastic moments in this game and the way in which Bend Studio executed them should be applauded, I don't want to spoil anything but these moments will stick with me for years to come. This game is such a sleeper it really must be experienced. If you have a PS4 do yourself a favour and purchase it, you won't be disappointed. Kudos to you Bend Studio, Kudos.

Hands down one of the best games I’ve played 2019-2020. I’m gripped on the story, love the development of the characters and the open world really feels like I’m changing things for the better.     I really enjoyed this game! The story was subtle and so well told. You were encouraged to avoid fast traveling because the story was told largely through periods of travel on your bike. The bike mechanics were very fun and the pace of the game was just right. However, it did have a slow start.     addictive, I've played it thrice, it has some bugs but i do prefer playing days gone over gta v, in days gone the world is hunting you, mystery weapons are amazing and just riding your bike is satisfying

    i started the game and stopped playing it because it was too hard, but when i came back to the game and started playing it for a few hours the game rewarded me with skills, you'll be    addictive, I've played it thrice, it has some bugs but i do prefer playing days gone over gta v, in days gone the world is hunting you, mystery weapons are amazing and just riding your bike is satisfying

    es espectacular 10/10 el mejor juego de la historia lo he jugado 4 veces en la máxima dificultad y no me canso, la historia es perfecta la juegabilidad es sublime los gráficos son preciosos. sin duda uno de mis juegos favoritos de the last of us.

    I almost didn't play this game because of the reviews early on. Boy am I glad I didn't listen to them. Are you kidding me. Did you actually play the game. This is a game you have to put in the time and let the story unfold. Once you do it'll have you hooked. This is a game that will hopefully be appreciated over time.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So while i have a lot to say about this game, there's 3 things this game does well 1. Open-world: while I personally think The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild is a masterpiece and does Open-world games justice, Days Gone also does that with an Expansive open-world and with lots of stuff to do, while it doesn't allow you to enter its second area of the game which is like almost as big as Horizon Zero Dawns map, it still holds up to the amount you can do at the start, while its side quest maybe tedious or may feel hollow at the start, you do get rewarded with either weapons or cosmetic for your bike making your time not wasted.

    2. The soundtrack: Days Gone is one of the many games that has personally made impact on me and its soundtrack is masterful, it fits in well in the game and it gives the right tension at the moments of the story it needs to, it also makes the story impact even more when you hear it, making you feel the characters emotions and reasons behind what they do without explaining yet.

    3. The story: Days Gone made clap at the end, i was so happy with its ending, and even after how it started to end it brought back many thoughts to my mind and it made feel more than just a connection to the character of Deacon St. John but as if i had been through that journey with him at his side like boozer, and seen every single inch of what he did and see the hardships he went through to get to his ultimate goal.     One nuance in the game with the drawdown of frames and non-loading textures, but this is a minus rather in the inexperience of the developers, which I can easily forgive. I hope that Days gone 2 will not take long to wait.

    This masterpiece is one of the best video games I've ever played in my life. The character development is top notch. The pacing is almost perfect. The subject matter is mature/violent and its done tastefully. The post apocalyptic tone of DAYS GONE is spot on. The soundtrack is perfect. In fact, I would argue that its one of the best OST's ever made. Video games don't usually stir my 35This masterpiece is one of the best video games I've ever played in my life. The character development is top notch. The pacing is almost perfect. The subject matter is mature/violent and its done tastefully. The post apocalyptic tone of DAYS GONE is spot on. The soundtrack is perfect. In fact, I would argue that its one of the best OST's ever made. Video games don't usually stir my 35 year old emotions but this game hit me hard af.     Best Sony exclusive i've played after Uncharted 4. The game is a great mix of RDR2 set in a zombie (freakers) apocalypse world. Also, it is the longest Sony exclusive game witch starts to really shine after 8-12 hours deep into the story. DG really deserves a sequel because the story ends with a some big cliffhanger witch left the story unfinished and opened to many interpretations.

    Days gone es un juegazo, cuando ves a 500 engendros en pantalla, ves el gran trabajo de Ben studios, es muy divertido y la moto es de lo mas importante, tenerla siempre cerca te salvará la vida, la historia esta bastante bien la jugabilidad es muy buena, al que le guste este tipo de juegos le encantará

    I can't speak for when the game was released and had polish/bug issues, but as of now this game is an absolute masterpiece. I had zero technical issues. The characters, story, atmosphere, graphics, gameplay, and game loop (all open world games have them. Do this, do that repeat) are all top tier.     This is THE best game I've played. Period. This game made me feel so happy through every single second of it. Best writing I've ever seen in a videogame and incredible characters brought to life through incredible acting and amazing facial animations. Decan is the best character I've seen jn a videogaem. Sam Witwer is amazing. A ++ game.

    This is my favorite PS4 exclusive.
    I couldn’t play TLOU 2 after this masterpiece. The best story about biker. It’s really fun to destroy hordes of zombies.

    ME SORPRENDIÓ.. Su historia y su mundo abierto esta muy logrado. Es muy divertido y tiene unos graficos muy por encima de lo bueno para tener estas ordas y detallados. Cuado lo termine me quede deseando la segunda parte con NERO y espero que lo hagan 10/10 por que siento que no esta bien valorado. Se que salió con muchos bugs pero ahora es INCREIBLE

    Despite an underwhelming first couple of hours, the game grew on me more and more as the world opened up, as I got accustomed the the gameplay loop and once I'd put a few points into slo-mo shooting. The reason for the latter is that the freakers really dodge about everywhere and it gets frustrating to miss shots and then end up in melee; the weaker, less enjoyable side of combat.Despite an underwhelming first couple of hours, the game grew on me more and more as the world opened up, as I got accustomed the the gameplay loop and once I'd put a few points into slo-mo shooting. The reason for the latter is that the freakers really dodge about everywhere and it gets frustrating to miss shots and then end up in melee; the weaker, less enjoyable side of combat.

    After that, it just picked up. I loved surviving out in the unforgiving world of Days Gone. I enjoyed the combination of stealth and gunplay. I enjoyed being able to switch between the two and the variety in combat situations the monsters and the bandits.

    The side quests often have on-going stories for the npc's involved and they are dished out at regular intervals, meaning you can't just blow through one person's questline only to have them disappear for the rest of the game. Instead, by spreading things out, you get to catch up on them now and then as time passes in the main story, which keeps things feeling natural.

    The hordes are great. Early on, they're terrifying hazards and, even late game, a force to be reckoned with but, as Deke gets stronger and better equipped, you'll slowly start to turn the tide.

    Whilst nothing Days Gone does is new or done to a level beyond anything that has come before, it does enough things well enough, with enough care and heart , for most of it to be enjoyable and varied.

    The exact ebb and flow of the gameplay loop is down to you, the player, so it's great to do things as and when the mood takes you.

    The main story has a surprising amount of twists and turns, even if it is sometimes uneven in quality. Most of the main npc's have strong, well-defined characters and the overall tone of the world has a good amount of moral ambiguity to it. What people have to do to survive, the decisions they have to make...the game tries to show people with all their imperfections and it's more interesting for it than a lot of what I see in games these days.

    Weapons have a good amount of variety, they definitely feel different and have pros and cons meaning choosing the right ones for the right job requires at least a bit of thought. Upgrading Deke brings noticeable, satisfying and rewarding benefits.

    The bike being your save point is a great idea. On harder difficulty settings, you genuinely feel vulnerable when you stash it somewhere to go explore or scavenge.

    Deke's character takes a bit of getting used to. He's a grumpy, messed up guy, but you can feel he's trying to change as he finally comes to terms with the reality that he's let this bleak world break his spirit - leaving him living a pointless life.

    The way the backstory of Deke is told is well done in terms of the segments but sometimes jarring given that it's often telling you stuff in reverse order, or simply a jumbled up order.

    For example, someone close to Deke says something really cringe worthy at one point. It's bizarre and out of character. 'What a crap bit of script', I thought. However, some time after another flashback, which goes back in time from the previous one, explains why this is. It then made sense and put a smile on my face but that doesn't change the fact that the initial flashback seemed poorly written at the time. It's an odd choice and sometimes it didn't work for me.

    The map is surprisingly big as it expands 3 times from the initial area you start in. I think my playthrough was close to 50 hours. I also appreciated the fact that after the main story is finished, there are 3-4 questlines that have one or two extra bits; to tie up loose ends with some of the npc's you've gotten to know along the way. Plus, there's an extra piece of story if you defeat all the hordes...it really set things up nicely (and ominously) for a sequel so I was very disappointed to hear Sony didn't give it the greenlight.

    Lastly, I'd also like to get the annoyance of some of those initial reviews out my system. Some of them were awful. Judge a game primarily on its gameplay, not the fact you find a white, biker survivalist unsavoury. Jesus.

    One review even said the Freakers all being white was racist, even though the game explains what happens to people's skin after they are infected. I mean, one of the tougher basic enemies are called bleachers. The clues in the name you muppet journos. They're tougher, (and whiter, hence the name 'bleacher'), because they've been infected longer. If you really have to criticise along the lines of identity politics (which you obviously shouldn't, you hacks) at least get your facts straight.

    Anyway, I enjoyed this enough to play through again a year later on Survival+ and may well play through again on PC. I'd give it an 8.5 if the option were available.    … Expand

Post game is amazing as well. Awesome story, emergent gameplay, great sneaking gameplay and so much more. I would pay $500 for a sequel, truly.     Deacon St.John and Boozer are great characters and this was an extremely fun platinum.

    A Masterpiece inspired by Walking Dead:
    If you loved watching walking dead tv series then you will love playing every moment of this game. Played this game in 2020 & encountered zero bugs on my play through. Hope fans get a sequel to this underrated masterpiece.

    My favourite game on ps4 by far. Even what should be a mundane task of refueling your bike is exciting . They’ve also resisted the lure of trends: there’s no multiplayer, no lootboxes, no “game as a service” plans – just a very solid (and finite) singleplayer experience.     At the beginning of the game you’ll feel like you've already played this game... then it will let you go for a while only to return with reinforcements (and lots of bugs). However, Days Gone has a couple of pleasant moments, that can't be denied. [Issue#295]

    I expect and hope for a sequel. Just know that going into this game that there is a lot of tedious nonsense to pad out a really good game to make it feel more worth every dollar, much to its detriment. I want to give this game a better score because the best moments are so good, but the large portion of this game is so bloody tiring that I just can’t.
