    Decent game, still holds up today. Finished the game on normal difficulty. Tiamat was pretty annoying, and you cannot change the difficulty midgame. The last boss on the other hand was quite underwhelming. If you are coming thinking it's a hack and slash, be careful because there are a lot of puzzles. These become extremely annoying near the end of the game (black throne, I followed aDecent game, still holds up today. Finished the game on normal difficulty.     Buen Hack and Slash, si eres fanático se esté genero te lo recomiendo bastante, la historia no es la gran cosa, pero no lo necesita, su gameplay es bastante divertido y es lo que seguramente buscas en este título.

    Jogo bom cerca de 10 a 15 horas de duração e 30 horas mais pra platina só acho um pouco repetitivo fora isso jogo ok jogo razoável.

    Güzel savaş mekanikleri ve aksiyon sahneleri, vasat hikaye ve karakterler.oyunun en büyük sıkıntısı benim için tüm görevler amelelik gibi sürekli 'sana yardım ederim ama şunları bana getircen' den ibaret.

    this game inspired me to play this type of genre more, I liked it a lot, the story is good and the gameplay is very good, the maximum difficulty is a good challenge

    Combat system is just awful: Long pause after dash, camera too close, character is too open while performing combos, hit boxes of enemies attak are too wide. Puzzles are tedious. Art style is ok by me, but it is a matter of taste.

    The game is average. I played all the way through and I feel it is reminiscent of an old style game. I like that part about it but about 80% of the way through I felt tired by the repetition.

    This game is one of gems of the past that i think is a great experiance for anyone
    Great story, great gameplay, great characters
    But as with any game there are some glitches that won't ruin the experiance but it's just a little annoying

    The gameplay is pretty decent, with a good variety of challenges, and special powers. It is a little limited only to the number of weapons, but I particularly liked it better this way.
    There aren't a lot of extras in this game, but they are worth picking up due to the bonuses earned. The game is almost free on    It is a very fun game, with a short story, but engaging and that holds you.

    This game series is one of my favorite of all time. I love each and every entry.
    As the first game in the series, it does a great job of hooking people in with its interesting story, characters, and most important of all its combat.
    Recently got the Blade and Whip edition on PS4 and played it again.

    DmC and God Of War have always been references in the hack'n'slash style of play, and for a long time it was just that until Darksiders arrived.

    If you like this style of game, you will probably love this game, different scenarios, enemies, skills, a good story being contacted and especially those epic scenes of a protagonist who knows he is strong and will demonstrate it.     I personally picked this game up as a child and for the time it provided satisfying combat and nice puzzles along the journey, I understand how people may see the game to be lackluster in comparison to games at the time but considering the developers hadn't many games to there belt it's a really good attempt at making an engaging story and environments waiting to be explored. In comparison to most games, its story does fall short and leaves the viewers in the dark for a large majority or the game but where it lacks in story, the game excels in making the player feel powerful as the hack and slash through demons and Angel's alike. There are also collectables to find which can make you more powerful by upgrading your health and wrath or providing you with souls to buy new combat moves and other helpful things. You also explore a wide variety of areas-from cities overrun in vegetation and demons to desertous regions with large sand worms keeping you on edge. The game borrows heavily from other games like the legend of zelda with its puzzles, and devil may cry with the aesthetic and combat. If you like those sort of genres then you should give this game a try as it will provide you with around 30 hours of fun gameplay. Also, I think this game gets alot of love by the atmosphere which is truly great, you play as one of four horseman on his path to redemption during the end war between the legions of heaven and the dregs of hell and on your journey you truly feel like a force to be reckoned with and to me, this game deserves a 10 out of 10.… Expand

    About 1/2 of this game is superb. The other half is tedious puzzles that only sometimes rise to requiring anything resembling conscious thought. Darksiders itself is a weird amalgam of DMC, Legend of Zelda, and sometimes Panzer Dragoon that does very well with combat and not particularly great with other stuff. Like puzzles, the puzzles in this game genuinely feel like padding, and thisAbout 1/2 of this game is superb. Like puzzles, the puzzles in this game genuinely feel like padding, and this game is 65% of these somewhat lame puzzles. In addition the quality of the level design takes a hit pretty early after the first couple of dungeons and the games ending feels somewhat slap-dash as well. Like they were running out of money, and had to put something in the slot, but could only agree on one last little bit of padding in the form of a world wide fetch quest.… Expand

    I passed with pleasure, got a dose of nostalgia and good emotions. In our time, such games are a rare find, so I advise everyone to try it. The first time it was held back in 2010 on the Xbox 360. Then it was littered with a bunch of other great games, but now, when there are no such games at all, you get even more impressions and constantly say to yourself "damn, where are these games now?"

    Играл в нее на пк давным - давно, люблю эту серию. На пс4 прошел ее сегодня.На прохождение ушло 16 часов, игра показалась несколько затянутой, под конец стало слишком много головоломок, как будто я играю в портал или мега мэн. Так же немного бесили некоторые локации, к примеру левел дизайн локации с Плакальщицей. Очень запутано, по карте ориентироваться тяжело. А так игра - Бомба. Война -Играл в нее на пк давным - давно, люблю эту серию.     Ну, что же вышла уже четвертая игра серии. Так, что решил написать про Darksiders: Wrath of War.
    В 2010 я её прошел на Xbox 360 и не понял, что за игра. Поначалу мне игра показалась какой-то перегруженной и затянутой по сравнению с тогдашними слешерами, такими как Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Dantes Inferno да даже Bayonetta и DMC 4. И вот второй раз я её проходил уже на PS4 в 2016 и черт подери, а игра то самое то! Хороший сюжет, запоминающиеся персонажи (особенно боссы), не плохой слешер. И вообще после выхода Darksiders 2, в игре появилась атмосфера, которая меня, почему то, не зацепила в 2010м.
    Да, кстати, сейчас продолжительность кажется даже не достаточной :), по сравнению с Death Stranding, NieR: Automata, да и с той же Darksiders 2!
    Резюмирую: с 2012 года серия Darksiders стала одной из моих любимых франшиз.
    Darksiders Genesis ещё не прошел, не знаю уж очень она отличается геймплейно, посмотрим!    … Expand

    Great game play till you get to the first main boss tiamat if you don't get her the first second of the match it's all downhill with no recovery sad to because this game had all the making of a top game but to be in that category it must be playable from all levels and skills.

    Just blah. There was another 2010 adventure game release that was also remastered for the PS4 that is also better than Darksiders in every way. That game is God of War III. It had a great combat, great and memorable boss battles, a great revenge story, and amazing for their time graphics that only get better with a remaster. Darksiders is inferior in every way though not a bad game.

Darksiders is inferior in every way though not a bad game.

    The highlight of Darksiders is the art style. The destroyed earth setting is common place after Gears of War, Destiny, and the many, many zombie games. Yet Darksiders has an artistic take to it that makes the world interesting 8 years after release. The chunky PS2 style environments really pop with the choice of colors and textures. Enemies are also different with each stage and not just the same enemies with different colors. The protagnist also has a wide range of weapons and animations that are not too difficult to learn. The range weapons are weak and have odd controls even by 2010 standards. Still, they looked cool.

    Where Darksiders fails is in every sense of innovation. Every trick in the game can be seen in other games of that era only other games did them better. Combat can get into a nice flow though never as nice as a Ninja Gaiden from the previous gen or the aforementioned God of War. I've seen this game compared favorable to a GameCube era Legend of Zelda. Even in 2010 that was a poor comparison. For adventure games at that time, we had Mass Effect, Bioshock, Uncharted, God of War, and a few others that pushed the limits of graphics and gameplay. I feel like Darksiders must have been a PS2/OG Xbox/Gamecube release and was stuck in development hell for 6 years. In the meantime, the developers saw all these great games and wanted to include more features like portals and this led to more delays. Darksiders could have been game of the year if it released in 2005.

    The game takes a while to find a groove. An early boss fight with a monster called Tiamat is terrible and I was ready to quit the game right there. Fortunately the game has 8 years of forum posts about Tiamat and they let me know the boss fights get better. Indeed they do and the bosses are mostly winnable with good strategy. The toughest fights are against hordes of monsters but even these can be won with a special burning rage form that the protagonist can build up with more kills.

    I would recommend Darksiders to people who love the Adventure game genre and are all played out of the offerings on hand. For everyone else, Darksiders is an OK adventure if you happen to get for cheap.    … Expand

    I’m glad we got two wonderful action games out of the Darksiders property, even if that’s all we ever get, and I’m really glad I played them again, because they’re not lost a step.

    Darksiders Warmastered Edition is a fantastic game that maintains all of what made it great in 2010. Its visual upgrades and smoother gameplay experience makes for a fun time at a very reasonable asking price. Maybe this will prompt a sequel? One could only hope. Until then, enjoy the hell out of this one.
