    Thunderful's Curious Expedition is a very fun game. It has a lot of complicated strategic parts you have to think about in order to be successful, but all of them create a learning experience, much like Oregon Trail did for gamers back in the day, that motivates you to keep going.

    Despite its repetitive nature, Curious Expedition is nonetheless a highly accessible and thoughtfully constructed roguelike, where tactics, discovery, decision-making and luck all meld together beautifully into a charming pint-sized adventure.

    I rated a 5, but the game actually plays like a 7. I dropped it 2 points because there is a game breaking bug if you enter a portal (notI rated a 5, but the game actually plays like a 7. I dropped it 2 points because there is a game breaking bug if you enter a portal (not required, and they tell you if there is one in the land you choose beforehand). Upon exiting the portal, I always have to reset the game (and lose all progress because of autosave) if I don’t have a thome of homebound because it always places my character outside the map and doesn’t even let me move because nothing is revealed. I lost on expedition #5 while in first place by a long shot in what would have been my first win because of this. Other than that, this game e offers a unique strategical timekill not found in any other game i’ve Played. Think of Expand
