    What a great title, one of the most frenetic racing games of recent times. It maintains all the essence of the original and is expanded to include tracks and characters from other Crash works as well as from the Activision universe in general. Fun to the max, both to have a good time alone or with friends.

    One of the best game ever, finally in HD. Everything is perfect (except the multiplayer p2p), everything is like it originally was, awesome!! We still need the PC porting on STEAM (2023)...

    The game itself is good. But the load times are unbearable, around 45 seconds each. Most levels are finished in a few minutes. I actually timed them, and for every hour of playtime, I was spending 15mins watching a loading screen.

    It's also stuffed with greedy microtransactions, and only has the campaign from the first game. So all the levels from Nitro Kart (the 2nd game) can only be    The game itself is good.     Sorry but i've tried pretty much evry racing game on the ps. This one was given as 'better' than Mario Kart by some random website. That will teach me.. NOTHING beats Mario Kart. This one has the same issues (or i have same issues with)as most, view angle is awful, the kart hides the track in front.. most of the time you can't see which way to go.     Crash has long been Sony's attempt to wrest the karting crown from Mario and this is a nice looking and fun reiteration. The problem is that we've seen it all before numerous times and it just isn't half as much fun without friends to race against.

    I started playing this game again on PS5. Graphically it’s amazing. Bring back all the feels from playing on the PS1. The load times a vastly improved over playing on a PS4. Especially playing with friends locally. However, the game just isn’t enjoy playing locally by yourself. The difficultly is very frustrating not to mention the insane rubber banding the cpu characters get over you. IfI started playing this game again on PS5. Graphically it’s amazing. Bring back all the feels from playing on the PS1. The load times a vastly improved over playing on a PS4. Especially playing with friends locally. However, the game just isn’t enjoy playing locally by yourself. The difficultly is very frustrating not to mention the insane rubber banding the cpu characters get over you. If you hit one level hazard and or hit by the CPU you may as well restart the race - you have zero chance of winning.
    I saw that the game will no longer be receiving future updates and that is a shame. Looks like the devs were only interested in the micro trans, sad. This game probably would have been more successful if the game play was the priority.    … Expand

    Post release microtransactions. A tactic where devs choose to wait until reviews come in to add in their greedy microtransactions to further drain the consumer after they've already paid full price for the game. A disgusting trick that ruined this remake of a classic.

    Purchased on day 1, and can't stop playing whether solo or in 4-player local coop. It pushes you to refine your reflexes and insanely fun at the same time. Difficulty and challenges are not frustrating, and the mechanics are quite easy to adapt to.

    Had to rate it down to 9 due to a bug which remains unfixed.

    Then talking about this CTRNF, my first impression of playing this game in one month was EXHAUSTING, BAD, HORRIBLE, UGLY and DILEMATIC.

    2. HORRIBLE: the jump button is delayed, and the car feels FLOATING (6 months later my friends recommended Mario Kart 8 Deluxe to me and Boom, this CTRNF game is getting worse and worse. The way the MK8D runs feels intuitive and soft as seen from the responsive tire suspension to the road, response to the turbo, respond when walking on water, when turning and so on) makes this CTRNF gameplay feel outdated. The only advantage of this CTRNF gameplay is that when jumping the animation of the car is made flex, perhaps to cover the shortcomings of the way the car runs, then from the way of jumping which reaches a higher height than MK8D and it is destroyed due to the DELAYING JUMP BUTTON.

    3. EXHAUSTING: the price of one character is 2500 wumpa coins, cars can be more, single player on Electron Avenue is only 80 wumpa coins, when you are disconnected from the internet you can't get wumpa coins at all, of course also can't access the store.

    4.UGLY: without internet makes character lists, cars, paint, tires, and stickers look VERY UGLY. Imagine the moment when Activision no longer supports this game and you are too lazy to grind, the list of car characters and others looks more and more destroyed (MK8D's decision to unlock Items from the first time and make Grinding easy, it was a very right decision).

    5. DILEMATIC: The only thing this game is proud of is the graphics, and even then it's not enough because it runs at 30fps on the base model PS4 (dude, MK8D runs at 60fps on the Switch). And that's also what makes you feel bad to uninstall this CTRNF, Remake of this game is very beautiful and also bad.

    Conclusion: if you are a fan of Crash, please note that Crash was originally created to copy the Mario franchise and its Mario Kart. CB, CB 2: Cortex Strikes Back, CB 3 Warped and the ending is CTR on PS1. The Crash franchise has an identity crisis, which is why Sony is selling it.

    the creation of the next games from Crash on the next generation console starting from the PS2 gives the impression that this franchise is forced to continue its work when it is not necessary.

    Original CTR is much better than CTRNF, graphics are not the most important.

    Especially because of the addition of the custom section.
    I deducted three points from this game because I gave scores between eight and ten to other games that I am more interested in, and I think if I give this game a higher score, I have done injustice to other games.

    CTR:NF is everything a remaster/remake should be - the core DNA of the original preserved, but refreshingly modernised and evolved for the present day.

    I really like how this game inspirade by Gran Turismo 7 and now I get to enjoy microtransaction like a true fan of microtransactions that I am. Did I mention that I also love NFT's cause I hope that the sequel will have them.

    Fantastic game, but I cannot support predatory practices and shoving micro transactions into a remake of a twenty year old game. It’s honestly disgusting that Activision would do such a thing, and previously my rating for this would have been a 9. It’s a shame corporate greed has ruined a once treasured franchise, and makes me worry for the future of Crash. Shame on you Activision....shame.

    Doesn't have the primitive harsh feel of the classic. A little too much going on on levels. But overall, it's a fun swift time, but I never play it for over 20 minutes.

    The best Crash racing game, I bought it in season 3 and i loved how it added the other characters from Nitro Kart, Tag Team Racing and Spyro.

So basically it's almost three times as many levels as the original, with just about every crash character available to play, including an unlockable crate character. They even added a couple more vehicle specs, which can be adjusted for any vehicle / character.

    I do have some complaints: Some of the newer characters are forgettable and unnecessary. Getting all of the coolest looking stuff is a bit grindy. And the out-of-bounds is occasionally a bit of a hard line, feeling unnecessarily strict occasionally.

    But aside from that, this is far from a disappointing version of CTR and I'm glad I bought it.

    I was hoping for more mario-like game. Crash Team Racing has higher barrier of entry, it's hard for guests to pick up. The maps are a bit difficult as well as steering. I played a bit of campaign and learned how to drift, but it was generally not that great.

    The online problems are way too many to make it a great game: Terrible matchmaking, its P2P so the host has the best ping and the others usually have latency, especially since its regional as well so it can be very hard to find lobbies. Also you have to wait so long for each track, then everybody leaves and another 10minutes to wait for the next 2min track.

    On top of that there are easy cheats/exploits in the tracks that the developers have not fixed which bluefire nerds take advantage of and beat the levels sometimes in seconds. And if the host leaves everyone disconnects.
    I could say so many other things about the online but this is quite a bit but Activision added microtransactions and made it EVEN harder to collect coins so thats great.
    For a nostalgic game that has always been one of the best racing games ever made and in my opinion the best kart racer on the planet (original CTR) this release is ridiculously disappointing.

    Positive things: Only thing that makes this game stand out is the remade story mode and the amazing graphics while racing, its also great how many updates have been made that added so many characters and maps to play. If the loading would be better i would give it 8/10 - It is after all the main reason why the playerbase for this game is dead, the matchmaking and overall loading times needed to be addressed, also just an update for the MP - Tournaments/Online Cups, just anything really...    … Expand

    I started out playing on easy to get a feel for the game. I was able to easily win every race with no problem. As a result, I switched it to hard. The increase in difficulty feels artificial though.

    In comparison, Mario Kart's difficulty settings work a bit different. On Mario Kart, your kart goes faster on higher difficulty settings. As a result, playing on higher difficulty settings require you to be more knowledgeable of the track, and have more skill at maneuvering your kart. While the ai players are going faster, you're going faster too. On Crash Team Racing, this isn't necessarily the case.

    This transitions into another issue. The items in CTR are not implemented well. If you're playing Mario Kart 8 on 200cc, you can get hit by a blue shell and still be able to recover and win, as long as your driving skill is good enough. On CTR, if you get hit by a couple items while playing on hard, you're pretty much done.

    It should also be noted that Mario Kart 8 doesn't have microtransactions and mobile game style unlocks. CTR does. It just doesn't feel good.

    I understand that if I spend enough time on CTR I'd have a better time with it. But the game isn't satisfying enough to keep me playing. I'd rather stick with playing Mario Kart 8 on 200cc. While CTR isn't a bad game, I just feel like there are better options.    … Expand

They say you can unlock everything without paying money but they purposely made that a almost impossible grind so that it would push you to pay actual money for content in the game and a lot of it. This was a $69 game, not free to play like fortnight. Shame on Activision

    Story:
    Lets be honest here, what are you expecting from a Mario Kart rip-off game about driving silly cars? It's goofy and silly, and it's alright.

    Gameplay:
    The game is clearly a Mario Kart rip-off, but due to taking the Crash bandicoot universe as the skin it has enough inspiration to make it something on its own. Unfortunately like with most ripp-offs, it has some issues. While the basic controls and mechanics are fine, the sliding and releasing of the nitro seems poorly implemented. Releasing your Nitro will either do too little, or way too much. The NPC's seem to recover more quickly from being hit with weapons, and are somehow faster than your driver even though their stats are slower. When you pick up a weapon box, you are spammed with bottles and TNT crates, while the NPC's get showered in bombs and homing missiles. The balance seems to be unfairly in their favor.

    Difficulty:
    Already a problem on the PS1 version and seemingly untouched on the PS4 version, the difference between Easy and Normal is mindblowing. While playing on Easy it is like your are competing against retards. But as soon as you bump it up to normal, they turn into Formula 1 esquire racers with dead-eye aim. They spam you with bombs and missiles while you are wrestling with the frustrating driving controls and get bottles and TNT... Great...

    Upon playing this i realized how frustrating i used to think this game was, and now i'm reminded. I give it a 6/10.    … Expand

    Podría ser un 10 pero la experiencia online se ve muy afectada por largos tiempos de búsqueda incluso durante su más grande apogeo/periodo de salida. Fuera de ahí, un gran titulo, mucha nostalgia y agradecido de tener este juego con los gráficos modernos.

    The single player content is nothing but frustrating. the tracks are not made to how the karts handle and the annoying rubberbanding the cpus do it out of hand. especially during the objectively cheap bosses. i loved the crash remakes. but ctr is just not fun to me. it only makes me mad and thats not good for a game to have. also the loading times are abysmal.

    Sigue siendo muy buen juego y este remake solo lo mejora! , me ha gustado muchísimo rejugar ctr y esta versión del juego es cierto que solo trae ventajas, comodidad, mapas y una cantidad de contenido que el original no tenia.

    El juego es difícil como fue el original, entiendo que mucha gente devuelva o revenda el juego frustrada y le de una mala nota, pero en mi opinión es de los juegos    Sigue siendo muy buen juego y este remake solo lo mejora! , me ha gustado muchísimo rejugar ctr y esta versión del juego es cierto que solo trae ventajas, comodidad, mapas y una cantidad de contenido que el original no tenia.

    El juego es difícil como fue el original, entiendo que mucha gente devuelva o revenda el juego frustrada y le de una mala nota, pero en mi opinión es de los juegos de conducción con la curva de aprendizaje y de dificultad más gratificante que he llegado a jugar , porque cuando llegas a entender como funciona el hypernitro y aprenderte cada circuito para sacar décimas de segundos al marcador es una sensación que ningún juego me ha dado.

    Si jugaste al original te harás rápido otra vez pasándote el modo aventura y después probando desafíos, pero si eres nuevo te recomiendo que hagas y pruebes los nuevos modos que han hecho para la gente nueva: como la carrera de anillos y otros tipos de carreras en las cuales el juego te ofrece caminos y ventajas. En general modos para que te hagas una idea de como ganar en carreras normales con facilidad y pasar a los desafíos si quieres hacerlos

    Y SI tiene micropagos, pero me parece absurdo el review bombing que le han hecho a este juego, cuando tienes 3 diarias que te dan monedas del juego, semanales, mensuales y desafíos personales para desbloquear personajes, skins o lo que quieras, Al día perfectamente sin ni siquiera mirarlas te compras un personaje nuevo. Y eso que yo no he jugado online, solo he completado los timetrials la historia y lo necesario para el platino, pero si vas aposta a conseguir monedas me imagino que puedes llegar a conseguir como 2 o 3 personajes al día, y luego ya solo compras skins con las monedas que consigues (Aparte dato importante, si juegas los fines de semana, ya que es un juego para niños todo lo que ganes se multiplica x2).

    En resumen, al igual que dije con el Gwent no es necesario pagar nada en el estado actual del juego sea lo que sea que quieras conseguir. Y más siendo un niño, dedicándole más horas conseguirá fácilmente casi todos los personajes y poco a poco las skins sin tener que pagar un duro.

    Its a faithful remake of a endearing classic. It looks wonderful and has a ton of charm. It also has one huge problem, its difficulty is all over the place. On easy its...well too easy. Switch to medium and suddenly you need to be a drifting god to come anywhere near the first place. And there is no reward here for a second best.     Piggybacking off the name of better games before it, "Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled" highlights the decline of quality and player enjoyment that gaming has suffered over the last two decades.

    The graphics are nice for the most part, however they are lacking in personality and character - think back to the cartoony expressions featured in 2003's Crash Nitro Kart, which were more in    Piggybacking off the name of better games before it, "Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled" highlights the decline of quality and player enjoyment that gaming has suffered over the last two decades.

    The graphics are nice for the most part, however they are lacking in personality and character - think back to the cartoony expressions featured in 2003's Crash Nitro Kart, which were more in line with the franchise. Tracks and worlds look like generic, "Realistic 4K HD Remaster™" scale-ups that have no flair or life to them.

    The music is rather unremarkable, rearranged recordings of the classic CTR/CNK themes with worse instrumentation and overall not as good as the original soundtracks.

    None of that is as big of a problem as the gameplay and mechanics; it is very clear that Beenox was not the right studio for a racing game (hint; this is the Skylanders and current Call of Duty studio) and they were only picked because Activision, the current rights holders for Crash Bandicoot, directly own Beenox instead of the company that would have been the right choice, Vicarious Visions.

    The engine that Beenox coded for Nitro-Fueled is a poor imitation of the previous games, with very jank physics, freak occurrences (being pushed down by Sewer Speedway's cylindrical walls, wall hitboxes being further out than the wall itself, etc.). But the worst aspect is how they botched the Power Slide mechanic; when you successfully boost, your kart is shifted toward whichever side you are holding the analog stick as opposed to pushing forward like in CTR. This severely affects the ability to pull off strategies that were possible in the original games, for example, you'll go to power slide toward a shortcut and instead you fall sideways into a pit.

    The online multiplayer is a joke and a waste of time, all online matches are console-to-console and Beenox does not run dedicated servers for this game. The effects of this show when you place, say, 2nd in an online race, watch the standings for a bit, and see that you've dropped down to 5th despite clearly finishing in 2nd. And have no doubt, you will see virtually all players picking the same character and kart. Most online races are inhabited by sweats trying to get the latest tournament rewards...which brings me to the most disappointing aspect of this game.

    In further mockery and insult of the CTR veteran's intelligence, the developers at Beenox attempt to distract you from these glaring flaws with ugly karts, skins and stickers that you can unlock through Fortnite-style grinding mechanics. Several characters are locked behind limited-time tournaments that quickly devolve into little more than grinding for XP and in-game currency. You are also encouraged to subscribe to PlayStation Plus, Xbox Live or Nintendo Switch Online as the amount of XP and in-game currency earned is dramatically less if you play offline. You are enslaved to a cycle of nonstop currency grinding to unlock a character or kart setup that earns you just slightly more XP and currency than before in the hopes of unlocking characters from the tournament.

    But don't worry! In this $40 game, you always have the option of purchasing microtransactions if you don't want to become enslaved to nonstop online races on the same track every time that you will be disconnected from, or won't even join because lobbies keep dropping out.

    Compare this to the original CTR or CNK's way of unlocking characters; completing challenges that test your skill. Clearing Gem Cups. Defeating N. Tropy's ghosts. You were never trapped in a nonstop XP grinding cycle to unlock characters, you never had to spend extra money, and success led to an actual sense of "pride and accomplishment"...I guess the qualifications for that have lessened.

    One of the best party arcade racers I have ever played. There are tons of tracks and characters, giving this a lot of content for your money. Unlocking character skins without microtransactions makes this an easy game to grind, especially with friends.

    Crash Nitro racing is equivalent to Nintendo's Mario Kart for the PS4. Not much to say, you have a plethora of characters including Spyro ones that you race through out different cups, and different stages. Its has up to 4 player Split screen which creates different fan events, and its 2019 so it also has online racing. very good game to have

    Yes, the addition of purchasable Wumpa Coins are a pretty big negative, not to mention highly unnecessary. But then again: Beenox including all of the content from Crash Nitro Kart on release was unnecessary. The 8+ months of free updates were unnecessary. The sheer amount of extras and bonuses on top of the core remake were unnecessary. Activision's monetisation shouldn't detract from the quality and value the game DOES offer.

    All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend you check this one out, even if you have never played the original CTR from 1999. It's a kart racer with enough scope and polish to rival Mario Kart (even surpassing it in some regards), and especially worth your time on PS4 and Xbox One, due to the drought of decent kart racers available on the platform.

    Is Nitro Fueled perfect? No. The game has its fair share of flaws. But there is a lot to love here, and CTR: Nitro Fueled offers a little bit for everyone.    … Expand

    Surprisingly great mario kart clone - but I think it’s better than Mario kart with more varied interestingly themed tracks and good graphics. Sure, the characters aren’t as iconic and well known as the Nintendo classic but I can look past that.

    Good local multiplayer options too, definitely worth a look if you enjoy such games.

    This was the game that introduced me to Crash Bandicoot, When Nintendo had Mario Cart. Playstation had Crash Team Racing. As a young kid I used to live on my PS1 playing this. I'm glad the game was remade and now it's the best fun/competitive racing game for PS4.

Crash is back in the driver seat and his performance on the race track is brilliant. Mechanics closely mimics those of original CTR, which is great given that original was the best karting game ever. Graphics and design are exquisite, executed in very intelligent way. Team at Beenox have put a lot of care to make tracks not only copies of original, but also stand on their own. It's a great thing to see how many artistic liberties and ideas were taken to make those tracks really stand out. When it comes to characters choice, there are a lot of them, you can play with up to 50 different characters as for today (and more are meant to come); that's the biggest amount there is among kart racing games. Adventure mode and time trials are challenging but fair. Game gives player huge control over the vehicle and demands decent usage of this control. Learning curve will vary from person to person, but it's not as aggressive as many are portraying it. CTR NF certainly requires conviction in learning, but learning will pay off.     The game is full of Nostalgia. The Characters are all over the top you unlock the original cast just like you did in the past. For PentaPinguin you have to use the same cheat code like in the original and the tracks are so full of love.
    Beenox is constantly updating the game and fixed unintended shortcuts for a smoother Online-experience.
    You have 4 different time trial ghosts to race against. N.Tropy (that's like playing the game on hard mode, and it is the weakest of the ghosts)
    Oxide (that's for well advanced players that understand how the game works), ImperatorVelo (that's for cracks who want to push their limits to the extreme) and then there are developer times, which are the hardest and will make you question your life decisions and i love it.
    The game does feel different to the original at first but it has so many QOL changes that i don't want them to be gone from CrashRacing games ever again.
    You can play with any character now and are not bound to this characters original driving engine, this changes a lot and means you have the freedom of choice.
    Some of the tracks collisions are still not perfect and the invisible jumping walls happen far too often when going at ultra speed. But thats whe you already played the game for a serious long time, before that you don't even know that this exists.
    Beenox added a game mode called RingRace, this is the perfect training for the game and is comparable to WipeOuts Zone Mode (but with a little twist) You need to hit the rings, which are getting smaller, and if you miss out on too many the race ends. But the speed you obtain is outer-worldly and you do a lap in 15 seconds and see the true power of CTR's handling and mechanics, these unique mechanics are in no other game and this makes the game my top kart-racing game of all time.
    The Pitstop is a bit random, but has nothing to do with how the game plays, you can purchase skins and karts via ingame currency. But, everything in the PitStop is optional and even without these skins and items the game would still be my fav. racing game. It didn't need to have so many purchasable objects but they are in and are nice to have.    … Expand

It's sad to see microtransactions at all in this game, but they are tottaly avoidable and really, you MUST put some effort to even FIND a place where those microtransactions are. This game has a total of 30+ tracks which is insane, withCrash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is a remake to one of the best racing game and also kinda of a remake to another crash racing game with its satisfying gameplay tracks and characters. For the first time in any racing game there is an adventure mode, it’s really fun with awesome cutscenes and missions with good bosses to face against. This game has a total of 30+ tracks which is insane, with also a total of 25+ characters and they are all unique so are the tracks. The gameplay is so rewarding by the second, it really feels like an amazing celebration to Crash Bandicoot and respects it dearly. The pit stop is not the best shop but it does it’s job with amazing customization to your characters and karts, also the online does work and when does it’s great but when it doesn’t good luck.     CTR: Nitro Fueled, es mas que un buen remake, ya que, además de imitar lo mismo que se realizó en la entrega de PS1, mejoró con creces diversos aspectos que si bien son detalles, en su conjunto cambian la totalidad de la experiencia de juego. El apartado gráfico, además de mejorar las texturas de los mapas y personajes que disfrutábamos en la entrega original, genera una sensación de velocidad visual que no se encuentra en cualquier juego de carreras generando una especie de adrenalina en el jugador sobre todo cuando estas en carreras competitivas y reñidas tanto en el modo en línea como en el modo difícil (el cual es bastante desafiante).

    Por otra parte la inclusión de contenido desbloqueable gratuito le da más personalidad al personaje y vehículo que estas utilizando y los distintos desafíos que presenta el juego sumado a los diferentes modos de juegos incluidos te da siempre algo que hacer dentro del juego.

    El modo historia sigue siendo el mismo que en la play station lo que a mi gusto es perfecto, ya que, personalmente, miedo que cambiaran este aspecto que en su época lo hacía tan especial.    … Expand

It is a wonderful recreation of the original CTR, and it is much more as well - since the beginning of monthly Grand Prixs, Beenox has added huge amounts of customization items, new tracks, new characters, new skins and more!     Even in its basic form, game has worth of 2 beautiful games (31 tracks, 26 characters and variety of customization), but after accessing online content (WITHOUT ANY MICROTRANSACTIONS), you can unlock your roster up to 51 characters, have 40 tracks and so many customization items that give you over 760 MILLION options to create a setup for a kart. I mean how wonderful is that? Speaking of wonder, graphics in this game are superb! It was breathtaking to see intro of Tiger Temple or to jump in Oxide Station! Mechanics are almost like in the original, which gives a player control like in no other racing game. Adventure itself and some challenges are like they should be – challenging. I admit that some of them may require multiple tries to succeed, but rewards for trying are indeed great. Not only racing is great in CTRNF, it also have multiple battle modes when you can play with your friends in setup that you have chosen.

    This game is amazing and wonderful! I really love it! It's challenging and extremely fun in the same time. Once you master it, it's a pure joy worth hours and hours of your time. CTR NF is really a lover letter to all the fans of Crash fans and to kart racing genre as a whole. Everyone who loves kart games should have it as No 1 position in collection.     I expected more driver differences speed wins, having so many visuals just for the micro transactions ruins it all... Getting bonus points fron equipping specific content is dump, why do I need a collection if you are going to limit me to 3 colours and 6 grand prize characters + 3 cars. UNHAPPY UNHAPPY UNHAPPY

    Все тот же Крэш, но в другом виде, пусть игра не так затягивает как гонки на PS1 но тут своя атмосфера забавы. Играть исключительно с друзьями или в онлайне, иначе впечатления от игры портятся. В целом 8/10 - Хорошо!

    A lot of kart racing games came out in 2019: Team Sonic Racing, Mario Kart Tour, Garfield Kart 2 and Race with Ryan. But coming in first place is the CTR remake! This game stands out from the rest as it keeps on growing and growing with more characters and tracks, so many features and modes, and tight gameplay. Truly worthy of the Game Awards trophy!

    A really enjoyable game. I'm a Mario Kart veteran, and when i decided to get this game i was unsure if this would be as good. Luckly it is, and honestly it is a nice change of pace from Mariokart. I think this game is more of a technical karting game, and requires more thought and skill than Mario Kart; the drifting in this especially takes time to catch on to. The tracks are sublime, andA really enjoyable game. I'm a Mario Kart veteran, and when i decided to get this game i was unsure if this would be as good. Luckly it is, and honestly it is a nice change of pace from Mariokart.     Beenox has put a remarkable patience and care for this remake. Polished graphics and much wider rooseter and tracks choice makes it a wonderful and amazing comeback for Crash. I love it! It's just masterful!

    CTR NF is such a wonderful remaster, I found myself playing it nearly every day. It is a great game, with a rewarding content (microtransactions are completely NOT needed to unlock all of the content availiable; everyone who is giving this game 0 or 1 clearly intends ONLY to 'punish' Activision for adding microtransactions into the game, which, again, are totally optional and notCTR NF is such a wonderful remaster, I found myself playing it nearly every day. It is a great game, with a rewarding content (microtransactions are completely NOT needed to unlock all of the content availiable; everyone who is giving this game 0 or 1 clearly intends ONLY to 'punish' Activision for adding microtransactions into the game, which, again, are totally optional and not necessary). I found myself unlocking 43 characters out of now 50 in rooster and GP each month only give us, players, more tracks and items to play with. This game is excellent and a wonderful recreation of an orginal. I really love it!… Expand

    Ele é um remake do Original Team Racing lançado para Playstation 1, porém o game conta também com todas as pistas, arenas e personagens do Crash Nitro Kart. Além do conteúdo vindo do CNK o game implementou skins para os corredores, novas animações de pódio e diversas opções de customização visual do kart.

    O game peca em rodar a 30 FPS em todas as plataformas incluindo o Xbox One X, alguns bugs como paredes invisíveis principalmente, mas o principal defeito é na parte online do game, na qual se perde mais tempo no Lobby esperando e buscando partida do que correndo, isso sem falar na falta de opções de modo de jogo, pois é apenas corrida padrão e não se pode customizar o tipo da corrida, nem fazer campeonatos e etc. Além desses problemas foi prometido que o game não teria microtransações, mas meses depois acabou chegando ao game a opção de comprar moedas no game com dinheiro real, o que na verdade não é um problema pois é possível farmar bem essa moeda, o problema maior é eles venderem o Kart Firehawk pra vários lugares e não disponibilizá-lo na PSN BR, e também tem um kart inteiro exclusivo de promoções de Trident/Sour Patch nos EUA, faltando com respeito aos jogadores de outros países.

    Pra compensar todos esses defeitos o game trouxe algo incrível, todo mês ocorre os Grand Prix, eventos esses que adicionam ao game novos personagens, pistas, itens, skins e etc. O game ultrapassou a marca de 50 personagens jogáveis, e dentro disso a Beenox mostrou realmente entender bastante o que se passa na comunidade de Crash, trouxeram personagens bem queridos e obscuros da franquia Crash, muitos easter eggs, resumindo muito fanservice pra deixar os fãs mais fanáticos loucos, os caras deram vida a personagens que só apareceram em jogo de GBA, celular e até em concept art. O suporte em conteúdo que eles estão dando pro game mensalmente é algo surreal, games de corrida do Sonic e principalmente do Mario nunca receberam um tratamento desses.

    Com isso CTR Nitro Fueled não é apenas um game de corrida de Crash, mas sim uma grande celebração da franquia Crash, e espero que futuramente venha um modo pra podermos visualizarmos os modelos dos personagens e ler informações sobre eles, como quem são e onde apareceram, pois muita gente não conhece todo o universo de Crash e conhece apenas os 3 primeiros games.    … Expand

    As a kid I used to play this game until steam came out of my PSX... in that sense the game does exactly that, recapture that good old gameplay. However, it might be that over the years we've gotten more used to other types of gameplay that it seems as though some things just aren't going smooth enough.     there is 1 thing that is absolutely unforgivable for me: this game is, let's be honest, a glorified port of a 20 year old game... still I'm looking at loading screens more then half my playing time it seems??? It takes 30 seconds to load a race and then 30 seconds to get back to the menu??? Considering most races take like 2 minutes tops that is an absolute joke!

    I'm not even factoring in the microtransactions in my score... if they indeed implemented them after release and most official reviews were out that is a disgrace.    … Expand

    Regarding gameplay and graphics CTR is a beast, just like it was on PS1. Activison practices which are well Activision. 9,5/10 for a game but because of Acitvision stuff I lower it to an 8. Still a very good game, excellent if you disregard mtx

    Esta remasterización de Beenox es un excelente homenaje al Crash Team Racing de la Ps1, sus gráficos actualizados a las consolas de octava generación, sus mecanicas traidas del original mas nuevas como el ultimate sacred fire, nuevos contenidos cada mes, selección de personajes mas los nuevos, las carreras online permiten la competividad. Ojala Beenox siga puliendo el juego

    No entiendo por que la nota bajo tanto desde que salio el juego, tenia antes un 8,5 y ahora un 6,5? Y en las demás versiones llega a un 5! Si es por las micro transacciones es estúpido ya que no afectan en nada al juego. Crash Team Racing es mi juego favorito, y este remake... es inferior pero no tiene nada que envidiarle. La dificultad era algo que para mi, le faltaba al Crash Team Racing original, y este lo hace bien, pero cagaron las físicas y los controles, ademas de haber input lag, lo que sube mucho la dificultad en las primeras pistas y se vuelve algo injusto, pero unas horas de juego sirven para que te acostumbres. Las Grand Prix son un gran añadido y agradezco a Beenox por traernos a personajes que jamas pensamos que hubieran estado (como Yaya Panda y Spyro). Los tiempos de carga largos. No se si esto pasa en las demás versiones. Bueno, esta es mi opinión personal... por lo que si no la comparten, de acuerdo... Pero darle un 1 o un 0 solo por los micropagos me parece una exageración...… Expand

    Nostalgia might well have carried this one through, but in truth it doesn’t need it: this is a great game that has for the most part aged remarkably well, with the visual upgrade and other tweaks serving to make absolutely certain it’s worth the price of admission; I just wish the AI didn’t sometimes feel so cheap. It’s rare that a game can be as good as it was 20 years ago in a modern re-release – but this classic kart racer manages it.

    Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is just about perfect at what it’s trying to do. The redone adventure mode is a blast minus the grind required to get coins to unlock stuff, and the core gameplay has been refined. This results in the best-playing Crash racing game ever and yet another top-shelf kart racer. Right now, the genre is as big as it’s been in 20 years, with Sonic, Mario, and Crash all competing at stores and the best thing for players is that you can’t go wrong with any of them. Crash offers up a tremendous game overall and it’s definitely an experience I would put above Team Sonic Racing, but ever so slightly behind Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

    Crash Bandicoot and company return to the track driving their karts, now completely remodeled and ready to compete in the current generation of consoles. A title a little demanding but very beautiful, totally recommended to play with friends and relive those wonderful moments of our childhood.
