    First of all let me clear something up before i dive into the review: I loved the original Crash Bandicoot games on the Playstation (Those from Naughty Dog) and so i knew what to expect, and also realize this game may be a bit to simplistic and linear compared to modern 3D platform games, but this is my opinion, so if you can accept that, read on :-)

    First of all the thing that striked    First of all let me clear something up before i dive into the review: I loved the original Crash Bandicoot games on the Playstation (Those from Naughty Dog) and so i knew what to expect, and also realize this game may be a bit to simplistic and linear compared to modern 3D platform games, but this is my opinion, so if you can accept that, read on :-)

    First of all the thing that striked me most are obviously the improved graphics. Yes, i was also surprised that the PS4 could not hit 60 fps, but even on my 65 inc OLED 4K 3D tv, i did not noticed the lower frame rate to badly. I guess it's because of the speed of this game is rather low, and so no huge movement at the horizon, and so i did not felt to manny frames where missing. Add to this the wonderful redrawn graphics, and the cool lighting effects, and i was still surprised in a positive way, even after getting the game knowing the frame rate was not that high (i saw the video from Digital Foundry before getting the game)

    The sound on the PS version was allready great, and fitted the game perfectly. It now sounds a bit more clear and the low ends improve the punch of the drums and bass guitar a lot on a proper stereo. Add to this the fun sound bites from the game, and it's clear Vicarious Visions did their best to deliver a proper version of the 3 CB games.

    Of course gameplay is most important, and here comes the part where i can't say this game is for everyone. I have played the orginal games a lot, and finished them all, and after playing the remakes, i was happy the control felt mostly the same, with some minor tweaks. Nothing to different to make it feel it's not a Crash Bandicoot game, but still, here and there where moments that i had to adopt my playing style to pass some more dificult parts in some stages. So for me, the game still holds up well, but i am afraid for some the game play may be to shallow, even compared with Mario 64, so i respect this game is not for everyone.

    Lastabillity is also improtant, next to game play, and here is where the game value lies: You don't pay full price, but you do get 3 full games (i have to admid those are conversions from old 3D platform games, but still, it's like you would get all NeoGeo Metal Slug games on one cartridge instead of having to buy them seperately, so having the complete series of CB is a good thing to me, they could have also released them seperate, and still ask the same price) So if you are like me, and you loved the Playstation versions, you will be bussy for a while before you finish everything in the games they offer.

    My conclusion is for me, i will get my moneys worth out of this compilation, and would re play the games even after finishing them all, so for me, Vicarious Visions have succeed in what i was hoping those games would be. So feel free to like the game, or if you never had a thing for Crash Bandicoot you don't like to "basic" semi 3D platformers, this game is not for you.    … Expand

    Honestly been waiting for this since I seen the "crash to Activision sign" at Sonys e3 in 2014, and let me tell you I am not disappointed one bit !!!! Feels how I imagined it as a kid. Thank you Vicarious Visions. Lets get a fresh new Spyro cross over game!

    The most amazing remake ever. What else is there to say. 3 games in one plus additional features such as a new playable character and time trial in Crash 1/2.

    For those that says it's too difficult, well duh, it's suppose to be since it's old school and not this hand held bullcrap now days. BTW, I got 100% completion on Crash 1 so far and I'm not even that good. So suck it up and    The most amazing remake ever.     The gameplay of this remake is very nostalgic, phisics and feedback is very very looks like the original version of PS1. I'll recommend to everyone play this game!Crash is back and in an amazing way. Crash was my first ever platformer for the PS1. Followed by Crash 2 and Crash 3 just making the series get better and better every time.

Anyone who gives this game below a 7 in their review is either too old to have ever played it in their childhood, or too young to fully appreciate what this pants-wearing marsupial did for the video game industry.

    This Crash Bandicoot game couldn't be more perfect, it's exactly the game I remember except the visuals are now stunning and everything has had a new life breathed into it. Naughty Dog has done it again!

    The "professional critic" reviews for this trilogy are appalling. This remaster is absolutely beautiful and Vicarious Visions stayed true to the original games, which is absolutely what you should do when a game and its characters aren't your original creation. It's a proper way to show respect.

    While I would love a new Crash game, this will sate my appetite for the time being. They really did these games justice. Yes, the platforming can be a little stiff but I did play the original on PS1 and can say it isn't any different. This isn't a forgiving platformer like the Mario games were you can correct easily in midair, many times your jumps need to be perfect.

    I can't get over how breathtaking the textures look. This is a dream come true. If Spyro, Croc, and Gex could be redone like this I would be in heaven.    … Expand

    This game is something else. Crash 1 is my favorite, because the levels are much more amazing and challenging, thanks to the precise gameplay that looks like Dark Souls. In addition, 3D elements with 2D makes this game even more challenging to control because you are not limited to left or right - like Mario - but also in 3D depth. It makes things even more complicated in some levels.This game is something else.     A near perfect replication of the original games, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was a joy to play. The game was fun and polished; the graphics were gorgeous; and Crash was as cute as ever. I definitely can't wait to see what's next.

    This is probably one of the most faithful classic game remasters I've ever played. It literally mirrors the original games in full HD with spectacular animations.

    Pray to God Vicarious Visions gets their hands on Jak and Daxter and Spyro.

    This is absolutely the same game but with newer graphics.
    And quite good one.
    Butt hanks good there is no in-game purchases and others modern game's ****

    These games are all masterpieces, what more is there to say? The three first games, developed by Naughty Dog, now remastered/remade for a new generation. The N sane trilogy has stunning visuals and amazing soundtrack, just as the originals had back in the day. I know I may be a bit blinded by nostalgia, but these games are better than all other 3D platformer released the last yearsThese games are all masterpieces, what more is there to say? It plays exactly like I remember it from 20 years ago minus the updated controls of course. Also they kept the difficulty of the games in check (at least as of now from the Day 1 version).     Nothing like re living ones childhood in glorious HD vicarious visions did a wonderful job in capturing what we loved as kids playing the original trilogy on PlayStation hardcore fun platforming!

This is actually not that bad, after all, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a “remastered” title rather then remake. But i'd like to see some additional parts for the certain stages tho.. Yet there are still some minor additional contents are featured, such as: playing as Coco in some levels, Time Trials for previous Crash games. .

    This is a very well-mastered remaster of the original trilogy. It's a good chance for those never experienced the old fashion Crash before. Btw, the game is running at perfect 30fps which is quite good (i wish it was 60fps like Donkey Kong or Mario games, that would’ve been cool since almost all games are aiming this quality nowadays.) But well, not a big problem. The developing team tried their best to staying close to trilogy’s original form while using the new tones. All stages are kept their loyalty (even boxes are in exactly same layout..wow) This is easily one of the best-looking games of the year and the best “cartoonish” game by far. Colors are too brilliant and vivid, all sound effects and BG tunes are exactly same with their original counterparts .

    I have to applause both Sony and VV for this game, developers did a wonderful job and put a great effort on this. As an old-timer Crash fan, i highly recommending this game. Prepare yourself for dozens of hype moment. Play on.

    Pros:
    -Whole new looking-fresh game
    -Coco is playable
    - Time Trial modes for Crash 1 and 2
    -Graphics are gorgeous
    -Arranged audio and sound effects
    -Lots of nostalgia-memories

    Cons:
    - Loading times
    - Nothing is extra here, unlock nothing. So play only for fun

    Poder volver a jugar al crash despues de tantos años con graficos de ultima generacion es algo que muchos estaban pidiendo desde hace tiempo y hoy se hace realidad. Aunque es divertido para todos creo que los que mas van a disfrutar el juego son los que lo hayan jugado en la clasica PS1.

    I saw this game when I was out shopping, and thought OMG Crash Bandicoot, that was fun as a kid.

    Bought it.

    Had friends over, with some beers.

    Got stuck on the high road level, everybody rage quit.

    Started playing again 15 minutes later, played from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.

    Best 40 dollars I ever spent.

    Excellent, fun arcade adventure. perfect for the system, and still fun today. I have absolutely no issues with this game, and through its simplicity you can see its genius. Simple levels and easy controls, along with traditional crash wackiness made the game for me.

    That's what it's like playing my entire childhood(excluding spyro) once again.
    The sounds, the familiar levels and much beloved character just satisfied every gaming need I have had this year. Bliss was soon replaced with searing agony and immense frustration as I failed over and over again. I have hemorrhoids and a hoarse voice now. I also relapsed and am now once again    Pure bliss.
    That's what it's like playing my entire childhood(excluding spyro) once again.
    The sounds, the familiar levels and much beloved character just satisfied every gaming need I have had this year.
    Bliss was soon replaced with searing agony and immense frustration as I failed over and over again.
    I have hemorrhoids and a hoarse voice now.
    I also relapsed and am now once again facing the deep dark hole that is alcoholism.
    Still totally worth it as this game is amazing.

    Bringing back all that was great and worked in the originals, this not only brings the original Crash trilogy to new graphics and system, but also adds in on top of what was there while respecting and keeping everything that worked and made the originals so great in the first place.

Time trials across all three games is also a really nice feature. The visuals are stunning, remastered music is great and sound effects stay so true to the original.     Two great games (and the original Crash Bandicoot), all remastered with beautiful, new visuals. What's not to love? Well worth the price for fans of the original series, and those who wish to pick up a solid platformer.

    The install size is 30GB, which is N Sanely high in my opinion; but, the first game is ready to play in less than 2 minutes and the other two games where installed by the time I wanted to switch--although, I wish Warped was first to install.
    It seems slightly harder to get jumps lined up (I was playing the original Warped on my PS3 at the time I heard about this remaster (I think it might be the slightly altered camera angles that throw me off)).
    The load times are obnoxious, though! Intro loading to game select, loading the game that you select, loading out of the hub world, loading into the level that you select, loading back into the hub world when done, loading out of the game back to the game select menu to switch games, loading into the game that you want to switch to, ect...seriously.
    It's kind of cool that you can play as Coco on any mission; but, it doesn't let Crash play Coco's missions (like the Tiger riding and Jet Ski missions in Warped).
    Fun and occasionally frustrating N Tertainment for the whole family.    … Expand

    Now this is how you do a remaster! This collection is absolutely incredible! As someone who grew up with Crash Bandicoot on the PS1, the smile this bought to my face during load-up was enormous! The sheer joy from replaying those childhood memories is amazing, especially given how good this remaster is! Some of my main points are as follows:

The sheer joy from replaying those childhood memories is amazing, especially given how good this remaster is! Some of my main points are as follows:

    - The graphics are stunning, the characters are excellently animated and the environments are gorgeous. The colours just pop, and it's nice to see how much attention to detail has been paid to the original level design. I haven't played the original in over a decade but I instantly remembered the levels when replaying them!

    - The controls are superb, they are highly sensitive and make platforming a challenge, but they're also rewarding. Anyone who complains about the controls is clearly lacking an ability to handle their precision. They are quite unforgiving, but that's the point! A platforming game is supposed to have tricky platforming.

    - Great replay value! The crystals and gems will take a few play-throughs, but there's now also time trials in all three games. This was originally only in Crash 3, so it's quite cool that they retrospectively added these to the first two games. Of course, there are also three platinum trophies to collect.

    - The soundtrack has been masterfully remastered! As with the level design, I instantly recalled the catchy music, especially in levels like "Road to Nowhere" and "Native Fortress". It sounds very similar to the originals but a bit more upbeat and modernised. They truly did a great job on staying true to the originals, but with a new twist.

    Seriously, you simply cannot ask for more when it comes to this collection! Finally, after years of ruining Crash Bandicoot, Activision has finally given us fans what we've wanted for so long, and they nailed! Everyone needs to buy this game!

    If it sells well enough, hopefully we will see a remaster of Crash Team Racing, and who knows... maybe Spyro the Dragon! Buy this great collection and prepare for hours of fun!    … Expand

    For the first time this game surprised me is when I was at elementary school .... I played it on my friend's PS 1, although I was strict PC player back in the days :)) Its one of a kind, very funny game ..... For this remaster is no need for a long review, its just a perfect remaster of one fantastic trilogy, it looks badass, gameplay is smooth, 10/10 is the only one possible choice :)

    As someone who has had a lot of experience with the originals this a a great remaster in almost every way possible. The graphics are wonderful, the gameplay is just as great as I remember and the new stuff like coco being playable is a great addition. I highly recommend this game as if it does well we might get other games similar to this (please spyro) and that would be fantastic.

Sane Trilogy up from the game store shelves and go to the cashier and buy it...even though I already did...well if you havent you should do the same thing I did.

This is a legit platformer for the pros.     I am happy to say that crash despite his absence still holds up very well today as this is some of the most fun platforming I have had In years with all three games remasted from the ground up they look so good and still play well even if it is a bit hard by today's standards but it is still a wonderful game that I recommend for anyone who grew up with PlayStation.

Loving the graphics and music( updated but still has its charm!) and crash is just as adorable as ever and when he dies you can't help but laugh poor Bandicoot!     Crash is back!!!! I played the original games when I was in high school. That was back when games were fun. I don't play much anymore because openworld games are terribly boring for the most part and online shooters don't interest me. If you love that hardcore play forming good style with loads of challenge, spin yourself into a Crash game.

It's like revisiting my favorite games as a 6 year old child again! The soundtrack in Crash 2 always catches me and "Tell No Tales" in Crash Warped will always be the prettiest level for me to look at period! There is a lot of goodies all around in this trilogy of games. There are issues with some of the games such as difficulty spikes in crash 1, annoying backtracking issues in crash 2, and finecky vehicle controls in crash warped to name a few. But because of the added time trials in the first two games for replay-ability, the ability to play as coco in the game, the soundtrack, visuals, animations, all of these things just eradicate all of the negatives put in to this game. Let me say the cinematic cuts scenes as well remind me of watching a dark, but lighthearted Saturday morning cartoon. They are so fun to watch. At $40 at launch, there's no doubt you will get your money's worth right here people. New coming Crash fans that have never played this series will get a kick out of this while nostalgic players will relive their classic adventures.… Expand

    It is pure nostalgia but unlike other movies or games it stays faithful to the originals with changes that just make it better. The only disappointment is that it didn't fix the many flaws the originals had but as a remastered is excellent.

    I have played many Crash games in my life. I still own some of the PS2 and Wii. I played the original 3 PS1 games, and being able to play the remastered version was very good and nostalgic. Crash will always be a very fun experience, I, my family and my friends love it.

It's an amazing feeling; it's like seeing somebody after holidays back in the school and comparing their appearance from before with this seen just now. Obviously, youCrash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a wonderful remake of original great trilogy of Crash Bandicoot. I cherish original games very much in my heart, so playing through this recreation now is full of nostalgic revisitations. It's an amazing feeling; it's like seeing somebody after holidays back in the school and comparing their appearance from before with this seen just now. Obviously, you would find differences, but fact remains that person is the same. Similar feeling overflows me now with Crash. I feel the same beats as in the original, but game gives us also the chance to expand the melody further, into new songs. I love this refreshed sound of Crash!… Expand

    Crash bandicoot remake is soo insane I couldn’t believe it excised it’s so fun 3 games in one game my favorite ones are 2 & 3

Respect to the studio for releasing all three games in one package. Because there are studios (yes, I'm pointing at you EA) that would release games sequentially and at 60€ each.

    If you loved the original Crash Bandicoot games you will love this. I had only played the original Crash 3, so it was like getting my favorite game, with two brand new games strapped on to it, just awesome.

    I played the game when I was no more than 13 years old on PS1, damn how long ago it was((
    And the way the game looks now, this is exactly the same graphics that I saw in 2003) Thank you for such remakes
