    As someone who has had a lot of experience with the originals this a a great remaster in almost every way possible. The graphics are wonderful, the gameplay is just as great as I remember and the new stuff like coco being playable is a great addition. I highly recommend this game as if it does well we might get other games similar to this (please spyro) and that would be fantastic.

Anyone who gives this game below a 7 in their review is either too old to have ever played it in their childhood, or too young to fully appreciate what this pants-wearing marsupial did for the video game industry.

Playing this remaster with family and friends, it *perfectly* recaptures the magic from 20 years ago, without reminding you how old it is! And the gameplay still holds up.     - "but its only 30 fps!!!1!1!".....again, i'm playing the game since release day, and dear God, Who cares if its 30fps. Goddammit, the game is 100% enjoyable.     Crash is back and in an amazing way. Crash was my first ever platformer for the PS1. Followed by Crash 2 and Crash 3 just making the series get better and better every time. It plays exactly like I remember it from 20 years ago minus the updated controls of course. Also they kept the difficulty of the games in check (at least as of now from the Day 1 version). Anyways highly recommendedCrash is back and in an amazing way. Crash was my first ever platformer for the PS1. Followed by Crash 2 and Crash 3 just making the series get better and better every time. It plays exactly like I remember it from 20 years ago minus the updated controls of course. Also they kept the difficulty of the games in check (at least as of now from the Day 1 version).     An amazing flashback for those who fell in love with Naughty Dog's beloved marsupial all those years ago. Crash Bandicoot fans will love playing this game! Vicarious Visions hit the nail on the head with this one. This game is fantastic!! Go and get it NOW!!.......so we can get CTR & Spyro.

This is actually not that bad, after all, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a “remastered” title rather then remake. But i'd like to see some additional parts for the certain stages tho.. Yet there are still some minor additional contents are featured, such as: playing as Coco in some levels, Time Trials for previous Crash games. .

    This is a very well-mastered remaster of the original trilogy. It's a good chance for those never experienced the old fashion Crash before. Btw, the game is running at perfect 30fps which is quite good (i wish it was 60fps like Donkey Kong or Mario games, that would’ve been cool since almost all games are aiming this quality nowadays.) But well, not a big problem. The developing team tried their best to staying close to trilogy’s original form while using the new tones. All stages are kept their loyalty (even boxes are in exactly same layout..wow) This is easily one of the best-looking games of the year and the best “cartoonish” game by far. Colors are too brilliant and vivid, all sound effects and BG tunes are exactly same with their original counterparts .

    I have to applause both Sony and VV for this game, developers did a wonderful job and put a great effort on this. As an old-timer Crash fan, i highly recommending this game. Prepare yourself for dozens of hype moment. Play on.

    Pros:
    -Whole new looking-fresh game
    -Coco is playable
    - Time Trial modes for Crash 1 and 2
    -Graphics are gorgeous
    -Arranged audio and sound effects
    -Lots of nostalgia-memories

    Cons:
    - Loading times
    - Nothing is extra here, unlock nothing. So play only for fun

    There is stuff in here for gamers of all ages. The new intro isn't as good as the originals; but, the "Remaster Machine" during the Vicarious Visions portion is pretty funny when Crash goes through it. The voice is nowhere near as good as the originals though.
    The gameplay is well preserved and the graphics are like I remember them looking through my nostalgia goggles.

    The install size is 30GB, which is N Sanely high in my opinion; but, the first game is ready to play in less than 2 minutes and the other two games where installed by the time I wanted to switch--although, I wish Warped was first to install.
    It seems slightly harder to get jumps lined up (I was playing the original Warped on my PS3 at the time I heard about this remaster (I think it might be the slightly altered camera angles that throw me off)).
    The load times are obnoxious, though! Intro loading to game select, loading the game that you select, loading out of the hub world, loading into the level that you select, loading back into the hub world when done, loading out of the game back to the game select menu to switch games, loading into the game that you want to switch to, ect...seriously.
    It's kind of cool that you can play as Coco on any mission; but, it doesn't let Crash play Coco's missions (like the Tiger riding and Jet Ski missions in Warped).
    Fun and occasionally frustrating N Tertainment for the whole family.    … Expand

    90's comeback with this almost perfect Crash Bandicoot Trilogy Remastered collection, and maybe with that, the return of the platforms adventure games. It's what your PS4 game collection needs.

    That's what it's like playing my entire childhood(excluding spyro) once again.
    The sounds, the familiar levels and much beloved character just satisfied every gaming need I have had this year. Bliss was soon replaced with searing agony and immense frustration as I failed over and over again. I have hemorrhoids and a hoarse voice now. I also relapsed and am now once again    Pure bliss.
    That's what it's like playing my entire childhood(excluding spyro) once again.
    The sounds, the familiar levels and much beloved character just satisfied every gaming need I have had this year.
    Bliss was soon replaced with searing agony and immense frustration as I failed over and over again.
    I have hemorrhoids and a hoarse voice now.
    I also relapsed and am now once again facing the deep dark hole that is alcoholism.
    Still totally worth it as this game is amazing.

    Poder volver a jugar al crash despues de tantos años con graficos de ultima generacion es algo que muchos estaban pidiendo desde hace tiempo y hoy se hace realidad. Aunque es divertido para todos creo que los que mas van a disfrutar el juego son los que lo hayan jugado en la clasica PS1.

    Honestly been waiting for this since I seen the "crash to Activision sign" at Sonys e3 in 2014, and let me tell you I am not disappointed one bit !!!! Feels how I imagined it as a kid. Thank you Vicarious Visions. Lets get a fresh new Spyro cross over game!

Vicarious Visions did an amazing job making the game look amazing whilst keeping the same flare and theme of the originals. The music has also been modernized very nicely even though there are a few levels where the music doesn't fit the mood of the level,but those instances are very sparse.
    Now lets talk about the most important part - the gameplay. In every game of this collection Crash and Coco have the exact same controls and animations meaning that you wont see a difference in jumping arcs and movement speed in all 3 games unlike the originals. Crash and Coco now feel a bit heavier to control than in the originals meaning that the characters will fall a lot faster during the jump than in the original. The game is making you be more precise with your jumps. This angered a lot of fans and critics even though, in my opinion, I see no problems with the new controls - yes the games are more difficult then the originals (except for Crash 1) due to the controls but i never felt like i died in the game because of them.
    However i do see a problem with the camera and hit detection. There were a lot of instances in all 3 games (ESPECIALLY in Crash 1) I had to take a leap of faith because i didn't know was i going to undershoot or overshoot the platform I was going to land on and caused me to lose a big number of lives. The hit detection can be questionable in some instances of the game. Sometimes you get hurt by the enemies that are clearly out of your reach and the same can be said about the opposite - you undershoot your jump (probably due to the depth perception) and the enemy gets killed anyways.

    Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a beautiful remaster of the original games but unfortunately it falls short from being a masterpiece due to its infuriating shortcomings. Even with its problems, this game is still great and it's an absolute must have for any fan of the series and would still recommend it for anyone wanting an introduction to the world of Crash Bandicoot.    … Expand

    This game is just so good. Fun,platforming, nice controls, a decent difficulty curve (laughing at the one guy who thought it was dark souls hard) and some great designed levels worth the buy.

    Ps to the guy crying about the fact some people are giving it a ten get a life and learn that some people can enjoy things.

You also have a slide mechanic, and in Crash 3 you earn a double jump and other features that make the games easier than the first. The graphics, sound effects, and music overall are really great. They are pretty faithful to the originals and create a really great atmosphere when playing the games. The main issues come from the outdated controls. Since these games are remakes, the controls are much like the original games. Platforming can be clunky sometimes making it hard to see where you are jumping. But overall the games are a lot of fun, and I would recommend them to anyone who likes platformers.… Expand

But when I knew a new Crash was going to be released (when we didn't knew if it was a remaster or not), I thought many incredible things that could happen. Crash 4 or a new CTR?     Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a nice reminiscent return to classic platforming and even more so due to the with returning my childhood and my first ever played game, with frustration. With the retake on what the personality of the game is, it still thoroughly competes with today's platformers. Patches are definitely needed and in some ways, the game feels more personalised in its original state. The first game doesn't capture the magic nearly as much as the second and third game. The loading screens also help with that feeling. The simplicity of this game is what also helps the game.
    All in all the game has the struggle to behold when competing with the modern game, especially if you are looking for special defining and signature features. The sole reason why this game stands out is that of its cartoon like fashion. The game needs heavy patchwork and feels like even a week delay could have polished the hell out of the game and the first game holds back the trilogy but is still a polished game in itself. The experience is good for newcomers and people that are bitten by the nostalgia bug, just go into it for the character and personality of the game or if your just looking for something to relax to aside from the difficulty spikes in the game.    … Expand

While the updated jumping system may take some getting used to (due to collision boxes changing shape, leading to levels such as The High Road now becoming rather difficult), all of Crash's extra abilities from the 2nd and 3rd games return, with the added introduction of the Running Shoes in the 2nd game.

    On top of getting the full trilogy for an affordable price, the Lost Treasures DLC brings the previously-deleted "Stormy Ascent" level to life, offering significant challenge to even the most diehard of gamers.

    With fantastic boss battles and amazing remade soundtrack, this is a must buy for all PS4 owners and definitely a reason for others to buy a PS4 in the first place!

    Story: Not much to say here. The story is exactly the same as the original 3 games. The only difference is the updated animation that really helps fleshes out the world of Crash Bandicoot. No complaints here.

    Gameplay: All your favorite mechanics from the old games are back as well. You will be jumping, sliding, and ground pounding your way through challenging platforming levels. Although something was changed in this updated version of the game. Crash uses the jumping physics of Crash 3 in ALL THREE GAMES! This can be a problem from levels in crash 1 & 2 that rely heavily on the jumping from the first two games. Levels like "The High Road" are a good example of a level that could be easily done in the original, that is hard as hell in the remake. The hit detection of platforms has also changed in the remakes. Edges of platforms are curved instead of being flat. Many time I would either slip off a platform or trip on the edge of a platform and die on the next jump. These sound like big complaints but they only affect a very small amount of levels and is not a reason to drop the score drastically. The last thing to note is the driving sections in Crash 3, THEY ARE GOD AWFUL. The turning is super stiff, that it's almost impossible to get first place in these level. The control for these sections needs to have a HEAVILY tune up in the control aspect. With all the complaints out of the way, nondriving/certain crash 1 & 2 levels aside, the controls work well and can provide a much need change to today games that are way too easy.

    Technical: The visuals look amazing. The animations, the bouncy, cartoony look all work well with the Crash universe.The updated soundtrack is great as well. Every track is great and really gets you in the mood to do some platforming.

    Final Thought: If you love Crash Bandicoot, the minor changes to the control won't bother you much as you will get used to it. The improved HD audio and visuals still make this collection the definitive version of Crash Bandicoot to come out to date. Besides a few level, you will have a fun time with this collection if you love platforms or loved the original Crash video games.    … Expand

    Loved Crash Bandicoot as a kid, love it even more as an adult. Gorgeous graphics, great soundtrack, amazing character designs and good control handling. Just as I remembered it 20 years ago.

    After "Crash: Mind over Mutant" in 2008, the once-iconic "Crash Bandicoot" series had proven to hardcore fans that it had lost its way, and was no longer the wonderful, charming, clever platformer series that it was in the mid-to-late 90s. Noticing    *DISCLAIMER: This review will not be a blow-by-blow analysis of each "Crash Bandicoot" game, but rather an analysis of the collection itself.*
    After "Crash: Mind over Mutant" in 2008, the once-iconic "Crash Bandicoot" series had proven to hardcore fans that it had lost its way, and was no longer the wonderful, charming, clever platformer series that it was in the mid-to-late 90s. Noticing that fans were growing tired of the beat 'em up style of the "Titans" series, Radical Entertainment was now tasked with making "Crash Landed," a game that would take Crash back to his roots (and take away the dreaded tattoos!), but due to some huge layoffs to the studio, the project was quietly cancelled, and years passed with no new "Crash Bandicoot" game.
    There were several moments of speculation, from the Vicarious Visions Facebook picture with the "Crash Bandicoot" poster, to the PlayStation 4 Launch Easter Egg hinting that Sony had bought back Crash, to Shawn Layden's Crash Bandicoot T-shirt at the PlayStation Experience, and fans desperately clung to whatever information they could in regards to a new "Crash Bandicoot" game. Well, the fandom rejoiced when "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" was revealed, showcasing the original trilogy remastered from the ground up and looking incredibly faithful to their early counterparts. And fortunately, when the collection released, it was great!
    There is so much love in this "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" collection. Each game has been lovingly re-crafted from scratch, and the brand-new graphics are bright, colorful, and all-around gorgeous. Furthermore, Vicarious Visions went to great lengths to make sure each game remained faithful to the original versions, and they succeeded. In fact, for the most part, it feels like the games haven't aged a day, and they all still play pretty wonderfully. And while there aren't any real inherent "fixes" to some of my problems with the first two games (the trial-and-error gameplay and the uninspired bosses), they still play very well and remain extremely enjoyable.
    The only real gaping problem with the collection that holds it back for me is the loading times. Each game is absolutely STUFFED with quite a few load screens, to the point where they can get a bit tedious to sit through. I'm glad they kept things faithful, and I understand that having a more powerful system that allows for more detailed maps and bigger disc storage might cause the long load times, but it can get annoying when the remaster has longer load times than the original games (granted, I've heard the load times are faster on the PS4 Pro, but as someone that's had the same PS4 since Day One of the console's launch, I can't exactly test that).
    Even so, the "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" is a wonderful, extremely faithful creation of some really great PlayStation platformers, and if you love "Crash Bandicoot," you should definitely pick up this collection, even if you already own the originals. I'm sure you'll have a great time with it.

    A near perfect replication of the original games, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was a joy to play. The game was fun and polished; the graphics were gorgeous; and Crash was as cute as ever. I definitely can't wait to see what's next.

All they needed to do was make the games look and sound better since they were already great back in the day; and man did they improve them. It's like revisiting my favorite games as a 6 year old child again! The soundtrack in Crash 2 always catches me and "Tell No Tales" in Crash Warped will always be the prettiest level for me to look at period! There is a lot of goodies all around in this trilogy of games. There are issues with some of the games such as difficulty spikes in crash 1, annoying backtracking issues in crash 2, and finecky vehicle controls in crash warped to name a few. But because of the added time trials in the first two games for replay-ability, the ability to play as coco in the game, the soundtrack, visuals, animations, all of these things just eradicate all of the negatives put in to this game. Let me say the cinematic cuts scenes as well remind me of watching a dark, but lighthearted Saturday morning cartoon. They are so fun to watch. At $40 at launch, there's no doubt you will get your money's worth right here people.     The old PlayStation 1 platformers are still fun to play this day and, with its beautiful graphics, the N Sane trilogy does a fantastic job of making a fun game both for series veterans and newcomers.

    Absolutely magical, at first I was concerned about micro transactions but the game gives you a super generous amount of in game currency for playing even without winning. The graphics are superb, gameplay AMAZING.

    An ideal remaster for old Crash games from PlayStation. The only disadvantage of this remaster can be: control. Sometimes it seems that it used to be better. You could find fault with the lack of 4K and 60fps, but does it make such a difference with a platform and nostalgic game?

    This is probably one of the most faithful classic game remasters I've ever played. It literally mirrors the original games in full HD with spectacular animations.

    Pray to God Vicarious Visions gets their hands on Jak and Daxter and Spyro.

    Excellent, fun arcade adventure. perfect for the system, and still fun today. I have absolutely no issues with this game, and through its simplicity you can see its genius. Simple levels and easy controls, along with traditional crash wackiness made the game for me.

    Bringing back all that was great and worked in the originals, this not only brings the original Crash trilogy to new graphics and system, but also adds in on top of what was there while respecting and keeping everything that worked and made the originals so great in the first place.

    For the first time this game surprised me is when I was at elementary school .... I played it on my friend's PS 1, although I was strict PC player back in the days :)) Its one of a kind, very funny game ..... For this remaster is no need for a long review, its just a perfect remaster of one fantastic trilogy, it looks badass, gameplay is smooth, 10/10 is the only one possible choice :)

    It is pure nostalgia but unlike other movies or games it stays faithful to the originals with changes that just make it better. The only disappointment is that it didn't fix the many flaws the originals had but as a remastered is excellent.

    Great memories from when I used to play on my PS1, it's the same exact game, and that's what makes it special. Maybe they could have made some new levels to mix it up a bit, but still a must buy for all those who played the original one

    Crash Bandicoot is a wonderful platformer that took me back to the days of Mario, Donkey Kong & Mega Man. Your evil nemeses in these games, of course, is Doctor Neo Cortex who is trying to get all the power crystals, so each level you go through in the second & third game collecting those power crystals is a must, other than that getting from the beginning of the level to the end is the main goal, and defeating enemies by jumping on them or spin attacking them is just awesome. That is only the tip of the ice berg when it comes to these games collecting apples to get enough for extra lives, destroying all the boxes for an extra gem at the end of the levels.
    Let's talk about the levels, some of the levels in this game are absolutely gorgeous when it comes to the new design and updated graphics, with that being said some of the levels are so difficult in parts it will make your turn gray if you are in your twenties like me, some of these levels would take me up to forty-five minutes to beat but none the less I had a great time with them and the game took me less than a week to beat which is great, because I never got bored I was being challenged but not to the point where I wanted to give up. I found as the games went along though they were getting easier, I don't know if that is because I was getting accustomed to the challenge or if they were made intentionally to be easier.

    The N Sane trilogy may have been beaten but it will not soon be forgotten it is everything I needed in a game right now, it may have been frustrating at certain points but I had fun every step of the way.

    Crash Bandicoot is my favorite playstation franchise and this implies that it is my favorite game. The graphics got a new visual and become amazing ! the soundtrack is better than before, but I got a little disappointed with the platforms of the game and the jump mechanics of the first game.

    A solid remake of Crash's golden days. Music is better than ever and the game looks great as well. Warped is also one of my all-time favorite games so that's a win-win from the start. The game suffers though, due to the heavy physics and the overall datedness of the game. It doesn't exactly fix any of the problems of the originals anyway.

    I like this a lot. Visuals are crisp, Crash 1 is insanely hard (High road, slippery climb and stormy **** ascent). Crash 2 and 3 obviously lose some of that difficulty and challenge but in turn you get better controls and more creative level design. I'm happy that they left the games untouched and didn't change things.

    Crash Bandicoot is back for a nostalgia trip for those that have experienced the first three games, but only this time, the games are remastered to fit them all into a modern console. This is a game that I do recommend so you can at least experience the first three games in high definition whether for fun or nostalgia.

Hasta que no se le pilla el "tranquillo" a los saltos puede resultar un poco angustioso, pero una vez se le coge el "truco" es fácil.

I’ve bounced off this game about 5 times and I genuinely want to like it, but there is ZERO margin for error as far as jumping goes. You have maybe a few pixels to spare when jumping between platforms. This issue is compounded by the fact that x performs a different length jump depending on how long you holdI’m posting here because the jumping mechanics in this remake are atrociously bad. I’ve bounced off this game about 5 times and I genuinely want to like it, but there is ZERO margin for error as far as jumping goes. You have maybe a few pixels to spare when jumping between platforms. This issue is compounded by the fact that x performs a different length jump depending on how long you hold it down. (or hard you hold it down?) So there’s about a 50/50 chance the controls will work, and my character will do a long jump instead of a short one. So even if I am able to correctly time/execute a difficult jump with very little room for error, I’m still going to miss half the jumps because the controls are so unresponsive. I am truly baffled to be playing a PLATFORMER game where the dev team managed to **** up JUMPING. I can’t speak to any content after 1-4 (The Great Gate) because I strongly recommend against buying this game. Spending $20 on hard drugs is a better life decision than purchasing this remake… Expand

I wished they got Clancy Brown back to voice Cortex and Uka Uka but the new voice does grow easily on you. I wish the Naughty Dog logo was printed somewhere on the case or in the credits to give credit where credit is due and not just a paw print on Cocos laptop.

    I rememeber playing all three of these the first time around and I am impressed! I am playing through the original but also had a look at the other 2, and all are good so far! Loving the graphics and music( updated but still has its charm!) and crash is just as adorable as ever and when he dies you can't help but laugh poor Bandicoot!     I am happy to say that crash despite his absence still holds up very well today as this is some of the most fun platforming I have had In years with all three games remasted from the ground up they look so good and still play well even if it is a bit hard by today's standards but it is still a wonderful game that I recommend for anyone who grew up with PlayStation.

    Crash is back!!!! I played the original games when I was in high school. That was back when games were fun. I don't play much anymore because openworld games are terribly boring for the most part and online shooters don't interest me. If you love that hardcore play forming good style with loads of challenge, spin yourself into a Crash game.

    While I would love a new Crash game, this will sate my appetite for the time being. They really did these games justice. Yes, the platforming can be a little stiff but I did play the original on PS1 and can say it isn't any different. This isn't a forgiving platformer like the Mario games were you can correct easily in midair, many times your jumps need to be perfect.

    I can't get over how breathtaking the textures look. This is a dream come true. If Spyro, Croc, and Gex could be redone like this I would be in heaven.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. If you're a Crash Bandicoot fan, you owe it to yourself to experience the trilogy with amazing graphics. You're basically playing your childhood in high definition and its still the same fun factor as when we first played them as kids/young adults.
    Most of the mechanics are exactly the same, but the jumping is slightly different and will take getting used to if you played the original versions recently.

    Vicarious Visions have done an amazing job considering how hard it is to carry a 90's platformer into 2017.

    The only thing keeping it from a 10 was a few bugs across all 3 games but I can promise you that its nothing horrible to deter you.

    If you're experienced at these types of games, you will power through them and you cant help it.
    I just completed all 3 games in their entirety (platinum trophies) and I enjoyed every minute so much, that I am actually sad its over. I even tried stretching it out by not playing for a week but I still got through it very quickly.

    Longevity wise from an experienced player perspective, each game on average will take about 10-15 hours to complete 100% (with platinum trophies). Warped is the easiest out of the 3 games and Crash 1 is the hardest so that one will add a few hours onto it. You will spend most of your time completing the time trials. Collecting the gems and crystals combined will take about 3-5 hours per game. If you are a casual player or new to these games, don't worry. It will probably take 60+ hours to beat all 3.

    I really hope this is not the last we see of Crash because I really want more. Even some appropriate add-ons to the trilogy would be amazing. Bring on CTR and Crash Bash!    … Expand

    These games are fantastic! It's hard jumps and running levels make it hard but, make you want to try again. It's not like Super mario bros or sonic where you could just run through levels. This is a legit platformer for the pros.     Crash Bandicoot is a solid trilogy of games and definitely holds up a decade later. While there are some minor gripes, this is more than worth the $40 price tag.

    Vicarious Visions have done a superb job here of lovingly remastering the PS1 Crash Bandicoot classics. It's easy to see that a great amount of care has gone into the collection. While I'm not sure how newcomers to the franchise will respond, I'm confident that Crash Bandicoot fans will be overjoyed with this remaster and become addicted to collecting those gems all over again.

    This is absolutely the same game but with newer graphics.
    And quite good one.
    Butt hanks good there is no in-game purchases and others modern game's ****
    The game is absolutely right.

    I will say this first: I'm glad they kept the game basically the same as the original plus some additional stuff, like speed run in all games and not just the third, and the chance to use Coco in normal levels too is nice: for the price they ask you to get a lot and that's neat.

    Too bad they changed the controls in the worst ways possible.

    HALT! Let me explain here: the controls aren't really changed, in fact, the 3 games have their own control schemes from the original (in crash 1 you can't dash for instance) and that's alright by me. However, what's not alright is how stiff and imprecise the controls became and how hard it was to make some jumps, as well as your hitbox, beign ludicrously huge, to the point that I died BEFORE I even hit the enemies!

    I mean it can't be me: I played countless of platforms after crash, from Spyro to gex, from Jak and Daxter to Ratchet and Clank, and I played them perfectly fine so I really find it hard to believe that I'M at fault here...I mean I even cracked open my old ps1 copy to see if I was actually that bad at the game and nope, controls are fine and managed to complete the first island with ease.

    In other words, they changed the controls (and his hitbox, making him bigger and harder to stay put in some spots) and, in my opinion, they focused the control to make it more "smooth" with the analog stick instead of the d-pad. And of course IN A GAME WHERE YOU NEED PIXEL PERFECT PRECISION, you don't want the analog stick so this is not a smart choice.

    However, thankfully, this mostly applies to the first crash game: the second one has fewer precision jumps and the third is also pretty good on its own so the controls don't make much of an issue. But I still can't shake off the feeling that they made the controls much stiffer as if I'm moving a sack of bricks.

    But it's still a pretty darn remaster and I HOPE with all my heart they'll remake Spyro as well so while it has its flaws, I highly recommend this game: it's basically good old platform fun at it...almost finest.    … Expand

    Amazing and great recreation of a classic. Everything is perfect about this game; it stays true to its roots and pumps up the difficulty BIGLY. This is a remake, not a remaster. 1440p (on PS4 Pro).

    Only thing I wish that it was 60 FPS.

    Awesome remaster of an epic trilogy! Look very good, finally a modern save system for crash 1. Overall, they stay true to the originals games. My only complain would be that they did changed the control to be the same on all 3 games, so It's can lead to some frustrating moments with the control being weird . Get this game if you like platformers, even if you p^layed them to death before!
