Mar 10, 2020Highly recommended for folks that enjoy cooperative play, or as a way to introduce a friend to basic stealth gaming mechanics. Covert delivers a lot of gameplay for two players—one on PS VR and the other on the companion mobile app. The heists remain fun and engaging without ever becoming too difficult, ensuring that everyone has a good time. Can't ask for much more than that.

Mar 16, 2020A lot of co-op games these days are not 'truly' co-op but two solo players playing together, this is not one of those games. Even though it is short and not very difficult, Covert truly excels at being a co-op adventure like no other on the medium. It is a game where both players depend on each other heavily and things cannot be accomplished alone. It will only last you a few hours but they will be entertaining. I can see a lot of VR fans loving the game and what it achieves, we certainly did.

Mar 12, 2020If you’re after a co-op experience on PlayStation VR Covert certainly shines in this department, with some great team-based moments. It does still feel like an Oculus Go port, from the visuals to the interactions. As such, there is a noticeable difference when playing co-op titles like The Angry Birds Movie 2: VR Under Pressure which is tailored to the system. That being said, this is definitely the best version of Covert to showcase the power of VR co-op.

Mar 10, 2020Mostly freed from the limitations of early mobile VR, the console and PC versions of Covert finally feel like the game it should have been two years ago. This an often amusing, occasionally engrossing bit of local VR collaboration that will have friends reaching the tops of their voices, if rarely doubling down on deep spy work. Still, if you’re looking for something to play with a friend that doesn’t own a headset or if you want more experiences like Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes, you should accept this mission.
