    Chess Knights: Viking Lands is a chess-themed puzzle game that has an okay core concept but the lengthy, complex puzzles stop being fun after a while and the controls are abysmal.

Изначально, когда я только запустил игру, я считал, что я буду просто, как и в вышеупомянутой игре, решать головоломки на фоне Скандинавских гор и деревушек. Но как же я рассмеялся, когда увидел шахматные фигуры в шлемах викингов, кольчуге или с короной на голове!
    Геймплей также притерпел некоторые изменения. Теперь мы не можем управлять всеми фигурами на доске. В игре присутствует 3 "группы" шахматных фигур: управляемые вами герои( несколько или один конь); " заложники", которых нам необходимо спасти( пешки, король или королева), и противники(слон, ладья и другие), которые всячески будут нам мешать выполнить свою миссию.
    Ваша главная задача на каждом уровне - перенести "заложников" от определëнной точки на карте к дружественной базе. При столкновении с вражеской фигурой с поля пропадает и ваш конь, и враг, при этом, если в это время у вас на спине находился "заложник", то он остаëтся на месте столкновения, пока его не подберëт другой конь.
    В общем и целом игра оказалась достаточно неплохой, по сравнению со своим младшим братом, и она полностью заслужила Оценку 7/10.    … Expand

The game looks nice and appealing, and the game premise is not bad, however, QUByte shifted from their previous entries regarding movement of the pieces and the thumbstick. This is a terrible change. I wound up spending more time trying to find the right angle for movement than I did actually figuring out the places to move. Previously in games like Knights Retreat by QUByte, it was a simple process where the game only let you choose valid locations to move. This artificially lengthens the game for no reason and removes any joy that can be found. I have praised their previous entries as decent to better strategy games that I enjoyed, this one, I cannot recommend.… Expand
