    I enjoyed certain missions and a more stealthy approach to gameplay, especially "clean house" stage. Story is complete rubbish. It is a hypocrisy on the largest scale to make such a deranged narrative. I've never witnessed someone tell a complete fantasy like that with such conviction. Activision should be held accountable for such a delusional fairytale of a SP campaign.

    CoD:MW is a great game that I wouldn't recommend to most. Gameplay, sound design amd Story are all excellent. Absolute dumpster fire of an install process.

    It's just amazing! First MW was great and this one is even better. Great graphics, both campaign and multiplayer. I played 4 seasons and don't plan to stop

    Never buying this games again, call of duty is pathetic, the campaign is really short and you have to be spending money, also there's a lot cheaters when you play online

    I've only played the campaign and it's got the most unoriginal boring plot ever with i think the worst most forgettable soundtrack and the missions alternate from meh to awful. also the voice acting kinda sucks

    Played for 40 minutes. Couldn’t stand it any more than that. Horrible racist piece of ^^^^. As usual, Muslims & Arabs are the terrorists. Russians are villains.

    A great Reboot game about this franchise,the gamefor his graphics is very amazing,gameplay is similar to other fps genre...the campain is okay but I dont understand all the reviews about US propaganda I think even if you delete this thing its still a good game

    LOL!!! All the negative reviews talking about US propaganda about Russia and now look at Russia....invading Ukraine for no reason and killing civilians.

    LOL! Here's a 10 just for that, and I haven't even played the remake!

    Campaign review only. It is that i expected. Graphicly impresive spec ops game. Story is good enough for a game like this and the performance of voice actors are top notch.

    + A mighty fine return to form for a series in dire need of a reboot
    + Graphics are arguably the very best on the system
    + Gameplay has an excellent balance of fun without feeling too arcade-esque
    + Multiplayer maps are very well designed
    + Brooding aesthetic is atmospheric

    - Online community does and will always hold the series back

Games awful over powered weapons every season everyone uses the same gun hit markers every where don’t waste your money on this awful game they suck so bad honestly skill based damage is real the better you are less damage you deal I have to loose like 10 games to win 1 don’t waste your time or money there clowns… Expand

    I'm playing on PS4 and the game throws a blue screen error that didn't happen before, since the addition of warzone the technical problems were rising, but with the last update, the campaign practically came unplayable, I've reinstalled the game, even i test with another HDD and the same history.

    Installing the campaign is an absolute nightmare. I just want to play the god damn campaign, but I have to install all kinds of manure before I can do this. Complete disaster of a model. Activision shame on you!

    Where shall we start? I will say the game play was okay, had some good moments but was a very sudden end. The on line play is getting progressively worse, it seems there is little care about the level 15 players with maxed guns and gunning you down from 150 meters, or dual welding pistols with 100% accuracy, Maybe the sword and shield players running through bullets to stab you, orWhere shall we start? They are just terrorists and much worse than nazists. I hope we will see more games where we will kill russians in a most enjoyable way.     I ive it a postive score just for the Warzone and multiplayer, and ofcourse the realistic graphics, the story campaign has alot of propaganda so i didn't liked it very much

    Not even played the game yet but now on my third day of trying to play it.

    4 hour install on Monday after work, left the ps5 on rest mode to install. Tuesday after work just getting settled to play it and it’s saying the campaign is not installed? What on earth took 4 hours to install then? And why wasn’t it the campaign! So then there was about 7 boxes all saying install next to them,    Not even played the game yet but now on my third day of trying to play it.

What on earth took 4 hours to install then? And why wasn’t it the campaign! So then there was about 7 boxes all saying install next to them, top of them being campaign, clearly says on the right - “this campaign pack needs to be installed to play campaign” so I installed that Tuesday night, 2.5 hour wait. Thought I would try again on Wednesday after work.

    Tonight I tried to play again, but it says “installation suspended” under the campaign menu, so I’m tearing my hair out and I google it and google is telling me I need to download other packs for the campaign to work. About 4 boxes down there is one that says “campaign and special ops optimisation pack” or something along those lines, so I have started that download, 2 hours.

    Let’s hope that works ay, what an absolute joke, just want to play the game.    … Expand

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
