    I enjoyed certain missions and a more stealthy approach to gameplay, especially "clean house" stage. Story is complete rubbish. It is a hypocrisy on the largest scale to make such a deranged narrative. I've never witnessed someone tell a complete fantasy like that with such conviction. Activision should be held accountable for such a delusional fairytale of a SP campaign.

    I've only played the campaign and it's got the most unoriginal boring plot ever with i think the worst most forgettable soundtrack and the missions alternate from meh to awful. also the voice acting kinda sucks

    A great Reboot game about this franchise,the gamefor his graphics is very amazing,gameplay is similar to other fps genre...the campain is okay but I dont understand all the reviews about US propaganda I think even if you delete this thing its still a good game

    Campaign review only. It is that i expected. Graphicly impresive spec ops game. Story is good enough for a game like this and the performance of voice actors are top notch.

    + Graphics are arguably the very best on the system
    + Gameplay has an excellent balance of fun without feeling too arcade-esque
    + Multiplayer maps are very well designed

    I'm playing on PS4 and the game throws a blue screen error that didn't happen before, since the addition of warzone the technical problems were rising, but with the last update, the campaign practically came unplayable, I've reinstalled the game, even i test with another HDD and the same history.

    Installing the campaign is an absolute nightmare. I just want to play the god damn campaign, but I have to install all kinds of manure before I can do this. Complete disaster of a model. Activision shame on you!

The on line play is getting progressively worse, it seems there is little care about the level 15 players with maxed guns and gunning you down from 150 meters, or dual welding pistols with 100% accuracy, Maybe the sword and shield players running through bullets to stab you, orWhere shall we start?     Not even played the game yet but now on my third day of trying to play it.

    4 hour install on Monday after work, left the ps5 on rest mode to install. Tuesday after work just getting settled to play it and it’s saying the campaign is not installed? What on earth took 4 hours to install then? And why wasn’t it the campaign! So then there was about 7 boxes all saying install next to them,    Not even played the game yet but now on my third day of trying to play it.

Thought I would try again on Wednesday after work.

    Tonight I tried to play again, but it says “installation suspended” under the campaign menu, so I’m tearing my hair out and I google it and google is telling me I need to download other packs for the campaign to work. About 4 boxes down there is one that says “campaign and special ops optimisation pack” or something along those lines, so I have started that download, 2 hours.

    Let’s hope that works ay, what an absolute joke, just want to play the game.    … Expand

Much like a Michael Bay film, the pacing is designed to hide these deficiencies. Still, it was hella fun, and probably the best CoD entry up to that point.     The campaign is amazing but short, the gameplay for multiplayer is amazing. The sense of realism and detail really shines. Its 8/10 because infinity ward refuses to fix many bugs that plague this game although annoying, the game still holds its own 4 years later. Probably my favourite COD release ever.

But the simple fact that I couldn't play through the campaign without a constant internet connection is a enough for me to hate it, but you can't practice with bots without one either. Which I like to do when I don't have online. OverallThis game is garbage. Looks nice but sadly that's where it ends. Gunplay is ok for Call of Duty and campaign is too short and loses it's pace at times. But the simple fact that I couldn't play through the campaign without a constant internet connection is a enough for me to hate it, but you can't practice with bots without one either. While many people have different thoughts on the multiplayer and spec ops, you can't disagree though that the gunplay and map design is really good. This game probably has one of my favorite multiplayer in the entire franchise. But the campaign is easily the best part of this game. The story,Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) is definitely the best COD game we have had in a long time. While many people have different thoughts on the multiplayer and spec ops, you can't disagree though that the gunplay and map design is really good. This game probably has one of my favorite multiplayer in the entire franchise. But the campaign is easily the best part of this game. The story, writing, characters, and gameplay is all spot on.     I thought playing this game would be great before MW2 comes out. But guess what happened? I couldn't even play the game. Because It says installation suspended even though I downloaded all the packages and apparently they didn't even bother the fix this for months even though it is a known issue. So basically I bought myself a Call of Duty launch screen for all that money.

    A great relief after the latest releases. They definitely put effort into this game, the amount of detail in this game is crazy with new and improved gun-play and gun-smith and a decent campaign. Definitely a step into the right direction for CoD, Just needs to be more polished and we will have ourselves a new masterpiece.

    Well, what do you say now, people who shouted that there is Russophobia in the game, etc. This game directly shows your morality and the real damage caused to other nations of the world (Ukraine, Syria and many others) by the Russian army. And for those who don't know yet: Verdansk is modeled after Donetsk, which was captured by Russia.

    The graphics are 9/10, the shooting is great, but the shooting sounds. In Call of Duty Black ops Cold War, the shooting sounds are better, they are different. In the call of duty, modern warfare, the sounds of shots are almost the same, just a changed timbre of the sound. 6.5/10

    Respawn system broken. You can be killed at one afrer respawn.
    Lobby also full of cheaters.Activision stoped respone on the claims.
    Don't buy game or dont play online if you want to save your nerves.

Amazing guns and attention to detail in multiplayer with lots of guns and modes to chose from.     I have had so much fun in this game throughout the hundreds of hours I've played. Multiplayer is a bit slow paced but shoot house is so much fun. The campaign tells a compelling story and spec ops.. is there. Overall it's a amazing game.

    I think this game gets wayyyy more hate then it should. The game was a saving grace for the franchise, pulling it out of the gutter after titles like Black Ops 4, Infinite Warfare, and WWII. The game brought a whole bunch of great changes to the series and I thank the developers for it. The MW Engine really is a game changer, the movement, gunplay, graphics, everything, is amazing. TheI think this game gets wayyyy more hate then it should. The game was a saving grace for the franchise, pulling it out of the gutter after titles like Black Ops 4, Infinite Warfare, and WWII.     Probably the worst game ever made. Just playing the campaign requires you to download like 200 gigs of random data packs that don't work half the time, and when you FINALLY get it working the campaign crashes every cutscene and bricks your system. How this game was even released is beyond me.

    Literally played two games. I didn't even buy it but I wanted to uninstall. The amount of campers was insane. In both games there were at least 2-4 other players camping. It's not that big of a problem, until you realize that because of the absolute **** map design that it actually works. Incredibly unoriginal game too.     I have gotten so many good memories with this game. I played it so much. I don't think the single player plot is good but I still liked it. Most of my play hours are multiplayer. It was just pure fun even though it's not the best shooter mechanics ever.

Two times I've had my settings deleted. I don't want to play Warzone, I want to play the game that I payed for which is Modern Warfare. The campaign is a great story and it brings back MW. Spec Ops is a joke. MP graphics are insane and look great. The mechanics are good, but I do wish you could move a little bit faster.     Le multi est une Masterclass pour une fois le jeux est plus exigent et pas du aim assist abuser bonjour cold war les fusil on du recul même si certains accessoires rendent les armes cheater, les animations,les graphismes et le sound design est juste fous l'immersion à 100%. Sinon pour la campagne c'est plutôt clicher mais plutôt prenant

Just in general, this is a stellar graphical and gunplay experience ruined by a lot of poor multiplayer implementation decisions.     Every single time I have talked about a COD game I say the same thing, if you've played one multiplayer you've played them all. So obviously, I only care about the campaign and to my surprise, there is some good stuff here.

    My biggest criticism with this one is that there are still more than a few levels that contain re-spawning enemy throughout. The reason I'm not a fan of this is because it can break the flow of the game and the immersion all together. With that in mind, there are some fantastic scenarios here ranging from good to great. Don't get me wrong, even with some added features to the control scheme, this still feels like the same old COD we know. But what has kept it fresh is the amount of variety sewn into each level due to the deep and intense story. And that story hit's the right marks. Yes, there is a cringe worthy moment or two due to the lack of subtlety to the message (“did we make the right call?”). However, the overall narrative does a good job exploring the ambiguous nature of modern war, way more than previous titles. There is some confronting stuff here and it's not just for shock value.

    More than anything though, the praise should go right to the visuals and sound. Wow, the graphics and art design look photo realistic at times and the sound is pretty much spot on. From the night-vision IR lighting to the snap of a round passing your head, it all draws you in to a intense atmosphere that can be hard to top.

    You'll still be paying top dollar for this game for some time. And even though it is the same COD game-play we have always had, it really is the next step forward in quality. AAA price for a AAA experience.    … Expand

The story was to the point, immersive and satisfying though it could have used a polish (discrepancies between voice actor recordings threw you out of the immersion). Notes: • Highlights unspoken Russian mercenary activity in the middle-East (i.e. Wagner Group operating in Libya, Syria and now unfortunately Ukraine).One of the best single-player campaigns in the history of Call of Duty.     This is a solid call of duty game. The best in the past 5 years for sure. Great graphics, movement, gunplay and tons of guns and attachments. Well worth the $60. Highly recommend for any casual FPS gamer. Much better than their past two releases.

Showed Russian some barbarians, although we are not close to doing what you show in almost every mission of the game. Most the guns feel powerful and effective creating a nice variety. I have no issue with skill based match making. I shouldn't be playing someone who has never played a COD game before and I also have no interest in playing someone that streams for 5 hours every night. They should add a universal ranking system though so you know how good of a lobby you are in.

    The campaign is solid but sometimes feels like it is just a compilation of emotional and dramatic bits from recent movies and political debates. It has those intense scenes but they often feel disconnected. Also the amazing gunplay in multiplayer just never has the same feel in campaign. It is still a fun six hours but nothing special.

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
