    I really don't know what to feel about this game. It's been marketed as a kid friendly wholesome bug-snacking simulator, but that's a stinking lie.

    There's something so unnerving about this game. It feels more like a horror game at times than anything, and honestly I think it's 100% intentional. I won't spoil anything here. Play this game, I guess. It really freaks me out, but I    I really don't know what to feel about this game.     A strange concept but story unfolds to having a surprising amount of depth. Some moments I found myself laughing out loud. A funny game worth playing.

    Bugsnax is a work of art that future generations will look back on in awh. One does not simply play Bugsnax but experiences Bugsnax and then changes as a person afterwards, you will not breathe or take a **** the same after Bugsnax. When your life flashes before you're eyes you will see Filbo at the gates of heaven waiting for you.

    The characters are written so well that it's odd. It plays like a Pokémon game slept with Metroid prime.

    I have never felt so alive. Immediatley after I started the game I felt... happiness. I felt alive. Never before in my life have I witnessed such a masterpiece. It might very well be the game that defines this generation. A true work of art, a game like no other. Bugsnax has set a new bar when it comes to storytelling

    It's uhm.... something. The graphics aren't great, and the game itself kinda freaks me out, but I'm not gonna take away more than half of its credit. Its decent, but that's it.

    This game was a meme to me when I went in, and I treated it as such.
    But what I wasn't expecting were the amazingly written and voiced characters, the absolute love and charm put into the story and just this strange uneasiness the game instilled in me (a positive in my eyes).
    All around Bugsnax was an excellent experience.

The game has this great sense of progression where one moment you see a bugsnack and you don't know how to get it, but then you get a new item or tool which enables you to get it and you realize how much new possibilities have opened up.     We've had such incredible releases like the XIII remake, Fast And Furious Crossroads, FIFA 21 Legacy Edition, and Deadly Premonition 2 A PowerPoint in disguise alongside the usual greats like Last Of Us 2, Ghost Of Tsushima, Michaelsoft Flight Simulator, and the Demon's Souls remake.
    Yet nothing can compare to Bugsnax, It's incredible    Bugsnax is the pinnacle of gaming in 2020.

    Weird game. It's very easy, repetitive, and awkward as an adult, yet it's also quite inappropriate for kids. Just feels like a boring game that only became popular because of memes because of its weirdness, but the game itself is not worth playing, even for free.

    Miyazaki's most ambitious title ever released, a completely new level in the souls-series which is a gaming marvel. Fans have waited so long on Bugsnax after a year and a half of no news nearly at all since the trailer in 2019. Hollowing fully, and questioning if the game even exists. It is a surreal experience for the community. But the surreality is in the game itself and with howMiyazaki's most ambitious title ever released, a completely new level in the souls-series which is a gaming marvel. Fans have waited so long on Bugsnax after a year and a half of no news nearly at all since the trailer in 2019. Hollowing fully, and questioning if the game even exists. It is a surreal experience for the community. But the surreality is in the game itself and with how incredible it is with the collaboration of legendary author George RR Martin. The voice acting, theme and script is incredible and on-par with any massive, legendary title. Fromsoft have taken a whole new initiative in an open-world with wandering bosses, politics, economy and covenant controlled regions or areas. In the verticality, brutality and atmospherics of the souls identity still masterfully in place. 330 hours in, and still feel like so much to do. They have absolutely won GOTY. Combat has sword play like Ghost of Tsushima but with heavier oof similarly to Dark Souls 1, but with Bloodborne's ferocity, axe-play like God of War and some of Sekiro's deflecting mechanics! Ooooh some of the best movement mechanics I have ever seen too. All the souls titles have seemed to come together and create the most in-depth game From has put out. Boss design is phenomenal and have carried on this the innovative, bizzare/horrifying and monstrous concepts. Some bosses wander well outside their 'scripted' locations and have very intelligent AI which is often terrifying. Such as rare behaviours where a boss climbs away and ambushes you later in an inconspicuous place. Most compelling is the illusive Glaive Master Hodir, the fights, mostly this one. Reduced me to tears, no film, nor game has ever done this to me.… Expand

Catching bug snacks.. bugsnacks as the name suggests are half bugs half snacks, and once you eat them you can choose a limb that these bugs become… each character will have you running around their areas collecting different snax and feeding them to them, which is a puzzle within itself, you’ll have to bait some out, trick them into fighting each other, trip them out of the sky, it really is fun trying to figure out just how to catch the snack you’re after.. Though bugsnax doesn’t quite have the magic a game like pokemon has, I never felt the urge beyond the first couple of hours to go out and catch them all... really only capturing the ones I needed to progress the story, and usually im a sucker for collect them all type games, but im just not wure what it was, weather its due to the fact this is simply a ftch quest game or that the areas youre running around are all bare bones and not fun or intriguing to explore, you get that feeling of, eh if I need this one ill come back and get it later,rather than feeling like you found a collectable that you need to grab right this moment… which a game like this should feel… scanning these creatures in the wild will give you hints on how to catch them, and some need caught later on after you aquire a new catching aid from the story…. But bugsnax overall is a really cute and charming game, it is enjoyable from start to finish, even if it doesn’t urge you to do much outside of mainlining… This is a hidden gem definitely worth your time, especially for those into collecting games… you’ll still have fun trying to collect them all until you’re over it…

    I love this game! It's simple fun. Funny and gooffy dialogue. A lot more engaging that Pokemon.

    Me fascinó el juego. Es muy entretenido, y eso de capturar esos bichos por medio de trampas ingeniosas y variadas es un puntazo al juego. Vale mucho la pena.

    This game is really good. It looks nice and the idea if you catching half bugs, half snacks is something. The story, dialogues and the bugsnax look so CUTE! There us only one problem... Its not realesed on Nintendo Switch. It would be PERFECT. I hope they will release it on Switch...

    One of the most charming and fun games I've played in the last ten years. Stands up near tacoma in terms of interesting puzzles and complex character relationships. A very serious game dressed up to look like a children's story

    Bugsnax makes you feel like a delicious snack. It's a game I could not put down because the combat is so good. The world is fun to explore and the stories it has to tell are rich and compelling. And I’m already anxiously awaiting a sequel. Definitely the best souls-like game on the market.

    I love the concept, and it's super charming. However, in my opinion, the ending was pretty sudden and unfulfilling. The fire in the game was also pretty frustrating, I felt like half the game was me trying to manage the fire mechanics. And just when you think you're done with the fire, Kero Kero Bonito hits you with an absolute banger in the credits. That part was good though. FairlyI love the concept, and it's super charming.     I loved it, definitely made me use my critical thinking part of my brain for different ways to achieve my Bugsnax captures. The story was great definitely a narrative game that I enjoyed as a PS5 launch title. A good deal at $25 and even better for us PS+ subscribers.

    the gameplay is a very mediocre hunting puzzle game you go around setting traps and trying to catch all the Bugsnax that are located on the island to catch some of them you will need to figure out how like a puzzle

    Overall, it's a mediocre game if you are interested in the game for yourself get it on sale if you want to get this for a child look into it further since there are some jokes and events that aren't kid friendly    … Expand

    Me lleve una grata sorpresa con este juego, teniendo temas sutilmente incluidos como relaciones personales, motivación personal, veganismo y preferencias sexuales. Me parecio un juego increíblemente entretenido y que no es nada para niños.

    The game is easy but fun. The mechanic is basic but engaging. What makes this game so special and memorable is the story-telling and top-notch voice acting. The character chemistry is well-written as well. I appreciate the whole journey and look forward to the next game.

    Bugsnax are delicious, but you have to be very creative to find a way to catch them all. The hunt itself is engaging and accompanied by quite an interesting story. However, some of the objectives are not clear enough, and while the adventure is full of funny events, it becomes boring after a while. [01/2021, p.54]

    From the jump, Bugsnax caught the gaming world's attention for how genuinely weird it is -- and honestly, that weirdness is a comfort when you dive into the game itself. At its core, Bugsnax is a game that's both about the joy of curiosity and the importance of a found family, all wrapped up in an adorable and addictive package that's going to inspire a wealth of fanworks and merchandise. Whether you're cataloging different types of Bugsnax, coming up with a new trap combination, or interviewing the townspeople of Snaxburg (by the way, props to Young Horses for helping teach players good interview etiquette), Bugsnax is a gaming experience that just works really well -- and it feels like the kind of game that's going to stick around.
