    Totally brilliant! Absolutely loved this game, event though it had me screaming at the TV in frustration during some of the harder parts toward the end of the game. The variety of characters was excellent, the action is intense, the comedy aspect is great, the local Co-Op is awesome, and while one particular bug was bugging me, it was patched shortly after I started playing, which wasTotally brilliant!     This game is absolutely brilliant. I just love every bit of it. Pure addicting fun to play action title. If You like destruction, mayhem and want to relax do Yourself a favour and try it out. First impression (especially on screenshots) might not show the title its rightful greatness, but trust me its realy amazing.

    Ganz tolles Spiel. Dachte mir zuerst auch - wieder billiges Spiel. Aber man muss diesem unbedingt eine Chance geben!!! Jetzt ist es eines meiner Lieblingspiele.
    Finde dass die Pixel Grafik super passt. Die Level sind kurz und knackig. Zum Schluss hin muss man sogar taktisch vorgehen. Genial ist auch, dass man sehr gut zu zweit spielen kann - der Screen wird geshared.

    I had played this game a lot with friends before i got a playstation and i really liked the game. Then me, my sister and brother got a playstation and i got the game and absoluteley fell in love with it. I could spend many hours playing this game and complete it over and over and it never really got repetitive.     I could see Broforce becoming an AAA franchise. It looked terrible in the trailers to me so I avoided it for the longest time. No one would believe me that this game is a masterpiece. They need to put out a sequel asap. Minor tweeks could make this game stand out dramatically. This is like the time when I told everyone about GTA on ps1 and everyone thought it looked like some dumb snes game with outdated gameplay.     It's a pretty straightforward experience. The majority of the levels are just here to let indulge in the chaos you can create. That being said it's not afraid to up the difficulty from time to time. The massive bosses can provide some satisfying challenges.

    What really sets "BROFORCE" apart from the pack are the Bros themselves. Not only do each of them have their own abilities that make them unique, they're all amusing parodies of action heroes from the 80's and 90's (all with "bro" placed into their name somehow). It's got a pretty great sense of humor and style. The pixelated graphics are decidedly old school.

    There's a retro appeal to the gameplay that's sweetened by modern flourishes and the action is very tight. Your characters are surprisingly mortal. Apparently all of those muscles and machismo don't keep them from dying in one hit. Luckily you can "rescue" more bros in the levels. That way when one goes down there's another to take their place. This system allows players to be able to try them all out over the course of the game as they are unlocked. You never know which one you are going to rescue. This random nature means that your strategy is constantly changing based on which bro you get. You'll have to make use of their unique abilities on the fly.

    It's an all around excellent game, but unfortunately some technical issues are around. Thankfully they aren't that bad. Long load times and slow down occur in the later, more populated levels. I also encountered a particularly strange issue where the controls would just freeze up for a second in the middle of playing. It never ruined my game, but experiencing light halts like that did occasionally lead to a frustrating death as the enemies didn't freeze up when my character did.

    Luckily none of these issues detract much from what is otherwise a stellar game. It's a blast whether you're playing solo or cooperatively. It's explosive, crazy action is exciting and addictive. With extra modes and difficulties to keep you busy after your first playthrough there's enough bang for your buck here to make it worth the purchase. The sense of humor and absurd style are just icing on the blood-soaked cake.

    Love this game on PC but the PS4 version (as of March 3rd 2016) has a lot of bugs such as the control dropping out on your controller at the start of a level/respawn, gameplay slowing to a crawl with too much animation on screen at once (possibly due to the Unity engine) and very long load times after completing 54% of the game (black screen for a really long time). Well, you see, I'm a sucker for 80's action films and Broforce pays homage to these and retro games in spades. It's seriously just a blast to play no matter how challenging it gets the frenetic craziness of explosions is so much fun. The downside is that it's not an extremely long game but I would expect them to add more levels in the future either paid or via DLC. Since the PC version includes a map editor there isn't quite as much to the PS4 version and it's pretty light on the trophies.

    I'm glad it was included with my membership of PS+ as I was going to re-purchase it for PS4 anyway so I'm pretty happy.    … Expand

    The makers of BROFORCE make gameplay that is intrinsically fun. It's fast, its funny, its surprisingly. I feel rewarded by my skill. So many different ways to clear a level and not the kind in a stealth game where they're all frustrating. Lots of characters, lots of class. I hate BROs...but I love BROFORCE!!

    The existing bug is annoying but easily dealt with and I'm sure they'll patch it soon.

    Super fun game , was hard to stop playing until finished, not realy the longest game but for something to pick up & play it was well worth it & since it was free with ps plus all the better ,.,

    All good apart from the fact that at the beginning of each level, you can't move for like a few seconds which mostly ends up with some really aggravating deaths. Would be a 10/10 but this is really annoying and a patch is needed ASAP.

    Great little game.
    The controls take a little while to become second nature, but persevere as the game is fantastic fun.
    If you grew up in the 80's and or like your action films i suggets your gonna get more out of this vey hetic game.
    The sheer joy of unlocking a bro abd understanding who they are is brilliant.

    Now excsuse me while myself and broketeer go save the world.

The music is just PERFECT, and somehow the bosses are even implemented very damn well. The couch multiplayer and online are awesome and they work really good. Sadly one issue with the game is that you can get lost sometimes and die because how crazy the game could get, just an issue I wanna bring up but the game is still a blast!     If you're a fan of old school action movies with Schwarzenegger & Stallone you would love this game. It has iconic characters who are easily recognizable (like Brominator or Rambro). It also has an over the top plot and missions structure. I would say that it's too tough for 2 players. But when we played it in a group of 3-4 people - it was perfect.

    This game is a great- action-packed -gunslingin kill timer. Don´t expect great writing, witts or deep story. Broforce is perfect time killing side shooter, to be played with friend on couch. The only downside it´s the online multiplayer has a lot of lag a conection issiues

    Es un juego muy divertido, con acción desenfrenada. Todos los personajes están bastante logrados y tienen carácter propio. Se disfruta mucho más con amigos, pero se puede jugar en solitario.

    There are tons of great (and a few not so great lol) characters to Play as. The catch is - its randomized, you cant Chose as who you Play, which makes for some cool "im the badass" and some rather tedios "oh no not HIM" moments.Trying to Play this game serious is almost impossible - theres just so much going on, stupid jokes/references a plenty, along with explosions and particle Overflow. Its mostly impossible to Keep track of whats really going on because all just blows up and explodes, and yet its so much fun to just go that Little more further.
    For an arcade shooter game its pretty lenghty as well, and although the Level desing is a mixed bag of great to unbalanced theres enough variety to Keep things entertaining the further you go.
    Theres no real replayability once you finished it, but teaming up with your Bros on the same Couch and Screen makes for an outstanding Party experience where your neighbors will curse you for all the swearing and screaming lol
    For single Players this is almost a 5 out of 10, but the Overall fun along with some friends is just too overwhelmingly good - if its on Sale and you have some Friends to Play with - its totally worth a buy    … Expand

If you like mayhem, chaotic, action fun with loads of bullets and explosions, this is your game. The campaign is short but there is a lot of replay potential and other stuff that will make you play it for hours. The game play is easy, reminds me a bit (just a bit) of metal slug but the stages are less linear and there is several ways of clearing a stage. You can take the crazy john Rambo approach and shoot everything like crazy or try to be a bit cleverer and find secret paths and shoot just specific stuff, it’s up to you. I think it is quite good that there are quite a few bros (characters) and each one has different weapons, grenades, jumps etc…some are melee other mid-range, long range etc.…. Each time you die or you save a POW you change characters so you don’t really get bored as they play very differently. Only thing I think it could improve, it the final bosses, they’re not memorable at all…not bad, just average, there is a lot of room for improvement in there.

    The graphics are retro decent. The game for me, being a 90’s child, makes me feel nostalgic as I saw all those 90’s action movies and now, seeing the BROS here (which are basically, iconic action heroes from 90’s movies) makes me relive some of my childhood. If you didn’t enjoy these movies when you were little you might find this is just another game but if you have and you like this kind of games, give this one a try.
    People complain a lot about it being buggy; I don’t know how it was when it was released but I didn’t have any problems with the game so far; I played for a few hours already. So whatever it was, it’s been fixed I think (April 2016).

    I haven’t had the chance to play online but I have the feeling that if you have a good friend to play with, I think this one is massive old school direct fun.    … Expand

    What a nice game, furious and quick pleasure , in solo or coop modes, graphics are nice despite the good old time way, but tons of missions, easy to handle but not so easy to get through sometimes but the level design and difficulties are well balanced. In one word definitively a good game to play specially with friends , try it when youre 4 at the same time and it explodes everywhere !

    Indie INCREIBLE, muy buen titulo, lo obtuve gratis por mi suscripcion mensual, y lo disfrute al maximo, jugando con los heroes de peliculas clasicas, muy bueno.
    El enemigo final aterrador xD un buen juego, que me recuerda aquellos titulos de 8 bits, [Lo se he exagerado un poco], muy grato, me lo he jugado todo, desbloqueando a la mayoria de personajes, si no es todo.

    I haven't experienced this much enjoyment in a local co-op game since the days of Crash Team Racing on the PS1. The parody of American imperialism in this game is exceptionally well-done. It's challenging to find any character unlikable. The diverse Bros add a level of variety and unpredictability to the gameplay.     Broforce is a puzzler/action hybrid that will calm your craving of over-the-top explosions and cheesy action movie references. It was a fun, yet frustrating experience playing this, with the frustration being on the harder levels.

    I put it this way, if you like to shoot a s($) load of bullets, knives rockets and kill lots of bad guys, aliens, demons and zombies, this is for you. This game is a flurry of hyper fast paced 8 bit violence mixed with lots of humor & funny moments along action movie cliches and lots of famous kick ass characters.

An interesting twist is that you do not select the character you play with as they generate randomly as log as you have lifes on the counter.

    Difficulty can be a challenge sometimes which add a little spice to the mix, but in shot, this is a good casual game to enjoy if you only have a few minutes to play or if you just want good old arcade fashion fun with no inventories, complicated quests or narrative.... you only need to do one thing, and yes you guess right.... save the world from evil XD    … Expand

    Прошёл с друзьями трижды, в том числе и на хардкоре. Играть весело, много знакомых персонажей, разнообразные боссы. Но играть в неё одному - портить впечатление. Игра предназначена для совместного прохождения.

Видов врагов маловато, но все же их тоже много. Начали надоедать только на втором прохождение. Всем рекомендую, если есть с кем поиграть.Отличная игра для прохождения с друзьями! Хз почему такой низкий рейтинг, персонажи и скиллы интересные, карта и разрушаемость тоже, боссы интересные. Видов врагов маловато, но все же их тоже много.     Für jeden Fan von Actionfilmen der 80er und 90er Jahre ein absolutes Muss-Spiel, alleine durch die Charaktere. Zusätzlich macht es auch Spaß, alleine oder in Co-Op.

    A fun co op side scroller shooter. Really nails the 80's action movie theme. Love unlocking new bros. Game structure becomes very repetitive and you need to start over quite a bit since it is so easy to die. Makes the game drag out and the game can become a chore and not fun; so game is good to play in small sessions.

Key for the good game is controls - here control is abomination! For first 4-5 seconds on every stage game does not take any inputs! This also happen during later minutes.     At first glance Broforce may look like a basic side-scroller built on a one-note joke, but there's a lot more depth to the game than that, both in terms of gameplay and humor.
