One of the best games I have ever played in my life. It's not a lie that it's the same with the other 2 blazblue games but that doesn't matter at all. The cons are that you have to play the other 2 blazblue games to understand the story and that the end of blazblue is not yet revealed so if you love the story just like me you will have to buy the next blazblue when it is out. All in all I think blazblue is a great game and a god damn cheep one if you ask me all three of them cost 60$ so if you should go out and buy this game now even if you don't like fighting games the story is more than enough for you Expand

So many characters... Such great combo system... Fun fight mechanics... Terrific fighting game. The story mode, as with the other Blazblue games, is quite interesting and doesn't feel like a chore to get through. This is coming from the mindset from someone that owned Chrono Phantasma on PS3. I gave this game an 8/10 on Playstation 3 mostly because it didn't offer much to those that have owned the original version. However, this is the first game from the BlazBlue series on the Playstation 4, and if you love fighting games, you owe it to yourself to buy this game.

For Playstation 4 and Xbox One owners, you're getting the definitive version of BlazBlue as the first title from the series. The gameplay is extremely flashy, stylistic, fast & engaging. The characters are all unique and very fun to play as. The visuals are beautiful and the music is absolutely fantastic, easily being one of the best soundtracks in a fighting game.

The story mode takes some getting used to, but it's engrossing once you do. It's very lengthy, being about as long as a Zelda game in length, and very well voice acted.

One of the best parts about this game is that it has an excellent tutorial mode that explains pretty much everything you need to know about not just the game, but fighting games in general. It explains what a mix-up is, it explain what a wake up is, it explains the advanced stuff of a fighting game and the challenges mode teaches you how to do the combos for each character.

There really isn't much wrong when it comes to this game other then the balancing being a bit skewed, and the story being a bit tough to swallow, but overall, Chrono Phantasma is a fantastic game and one of the best 2D fighting games on a console to date.

For a visual novel style story mode and a fighting game, I could not ask for much more, it is competitive and challenging in this last aspect. Everything abut tjis game is great. It has diversity in not only its characters but in the emotions it makes you feel for its story. If you already own the original this is not for you but if your looking for a fighting game that is fun and fast pace then do not look past this one

One of the best 2d fighters out there, almost perfect in every aspect. There are some slight issues like its lack of cross play with PS Vita or the style of its soundtrack, but beyond that, and excellent game for those who can see beyond Street Fighter and Tekken.

Simply put, one of the best 2D fighting games for PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and even PS Vita consoles. A magnificent game in every aspect.

While there's little to recommend upgrading from the PlayStation 3 version of the game, BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma Extend is a confident execution of a title that knows its strengths.
