Dec 12, 2021Despite being far from perfect, Beyond a Steel Sky is a compelling adventure.

Jan 30, 2022While it is a fair bit simpler in animation, story and puzzles that we would have liked, the interesting flip and the new take on a heaven dystopia (after the hellish one of the first game) and the yet again gorgeous art from Dave Gibbons, make Beyond a Steel Sky a game that does have to offer something fresh and interesting to new and returning gamers alike.

Dec 6, 2021Although the awkward performance on PlayStation 5, Beyond a Steel Sky remains a decent third-person graphic adventure that doesn't make big mistakes but that doesn’t even reach particular peaks.
-
Nov 30, 2021Beyond a Steel Sky is a modern sequel to a classic point and click and although the mechanics and systems have been updated that original feel is still present. That's great news for fans whilst those who didn't enjoy the genre's more obscure puzzles or slower paced gameplay will find similar troubles here. Lucky for me, I'm a fan.

Dec 6, 2021For better or worse, Beyond A Steel Sky sticks to the conventions of its predecessor and classic adventure games. Fans of Beneath A Steel Sky are sure to be satisfied with Robert Foster’s newest escapade into Union City, but some of its charms may be lost on a more modern audience.
-
Nov 30, 2021A colourful and good-humoured 3D retread of 1990s point ‘n’ click adventures that despite the odd innovation suffers from the same frustrations and limitations as its ancient forebears.
